You guys will be comparing yourself to developed nations, yet when people tell you what them developed nations did to be developed, you will start complaining and deflecting.

Even the boreholes we dig, the truth is, we could pipe water to every house in Nigeria, but the maintenance cost...paid in form of monthly water bills...you guys will start screaming poverty. Boreholes are far cheaper to build and maintain..lol.

So sorry for the tragic loss and the continued unprofessionalism of the Nigeria Police force. Our people should try and comply with instructions given by police on the highway either for their safety or the safety of others. Just few minutes of waiting might be the only grace to avoid someone loosing his or her life. Police in advanced countries cannot stop you on the highway without you complying with the order because there are consequences for it. I understand our personnel do things to the extreme but for some of us that wants a better Nigeria, let's learn to always obey instructions and call the police out when it is necessary. The pulling of trigger on the victim is a no-no, it's a callous act from the personnel and the officers involved need to be sanctioned, dismissed and charged to court to serve as a lesson for others. RIP to the lady, Nigeria failed you.

As a Band 6 nurse here in the UK, doctors earn better, however, every country have its own issues, the loneliness in this country is out of this world, that is why most kids born here are Autistic and if care is not taken, the kids from African is not out of it. The only time when it is better you choose your wife yourself is when you have an objective data about your wife-to-be. The point of arranged marriage in its very basis is objective data.

Your masculinity should never tolerate that, and thats why you need a thorough background check, and also why arranged marriage is necessary. If you intend to marry a virgin, then arranged marriage is the best method to get one.

Yea those are the perks of arrangee, it's same in the job world, being referred to by someone internal or a network is many many times better than hiring strangers. And company first search within before going outside, a referral from a trusted network has much weight than random person.

Most young people are not suitable to choose partners themselves. Young people usually choose partners base on wrong things such as spec, attractions, and lack the experience your parents or uncle have with marriage and how to make it work.

I am not saying all arrange marriages works, all I am saying is that if you compare different method of finding a wife, arranged marriage so far is the best, and the historical date are there to prove it.

Mind you, arrange marriage is not the same thing s forced marriage. With arrange marriage, you can always say no, and ask for more girls to be matched with you.
