This keeps coming up as men & women generally misinterpret the meaning of a Child. Webster's dictionary states a Child as one between infancy and youth.. In another definition in the same dictionary, a child is referred to as a man or woman of human parentage. People generally interpret the word 'Child' as referring to a young boy / girl and disregard themselves as Children despite their parents still being alive. In a gathering where the children are called out, only the young come out ; Even the public holiday set aside for celebrating Children ( May27 ) is generally regarded as a day for the young ! My take on this is everyone with parent(s) still breathing is a Child. Nairalanders, please share your views and takes on this.... |

kultimate009: This guys really know how to cover up..... Won't be surprised if we all wake up one day and find the whole world in disarray due to an alien attack....Naah...That'll be scary |
Blakjewelry: Although we know that there is life outside our planet, but the issues of ufo is still unbelievable because they can not leave their home planet millions of light year away only to here and start hidding.Well, you never can tell...there are stories about them needing our water and stuff ; nothing seriously proved though... |
No matter how much you'd want to write this UFO stuff off as crazy or unbelievable, there are lots of things that speak in the opposite.. |
The alleged former Area 51 scientist continues to maintain that everything he has said is true.Robert Lazar, the man who claimed that he had worked at a secretive test facility known as "S4" near the infamous Area 51, is perhaps the single most controversial figure in Ufological history. An alleged witness to several captured alien 'saucers', Lazar claimsto have examined and worked on these machines and the fuel source that powered them, Element 115, for several months between 1988 and 1989. 25 years on and Lazar, who now operates a scientific supply firm with his wife in Michigan, still maintains that everything he has ever said about his time at Area 51 is true. Despite the amount of media attention his story received however he insists that he isn't interested in fame. "Look, I'm not out there giving UFO lectures, producing tapes," he told George Knapp during a recent interview. "This is not a business of mine. I am trying to run a scientific business, and if I'm the UFO guy, itmakes it really difficult, it is to my benefit that people don't believe the story. "Veteran UFO researcher Stanton Friedmanhas been researching Lazar's story for years but has never been able to satisfactorily corroborate his claims. "Here is a bright guy. I did a lot of checking. I find a lot of things didn't check out," he said. "It doesn't mean I disagree with everything heever said, or that he was a liar all the time. It means I can't find the story as presented. What he did out there I don't know."

I wondered about what could be in The Area 51 the US so much shrouded in mystery and is out of bounds to unauthorized persons. Well,I searched and found this... Officially it has never existed until The CIA for the first time acknowledged the existence of Area 51 - the enigmatic US airbase that is shrouded in mystery and is a staple of alien conspiracy theories. The mysterious piece of land in Nevada has been linked with reports of UFOs, alien bodies and secret government projects.A declassified CIA history of the U-2 spy plane programme, made public this week, makes numerous references to the air base. The documents came to light during researchby the National Security Archive (NSA) at George Washington University for a report into the development, history and operation of U-2 spy planes during the Cold War. Included among the documentation is also a map of the secret base.As part of their research the archive obtained documents that for the first time actually make reference to Area 51. Included among the documentation, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request made in 2005, is also a map showing the position of the secret base."President Eisenhower also approved the addition of this strip of wasteland, known by its map designation as Area 51, to the Nevada Test Site," the history reads. To make the new facility in the middle of nowhere sound more attractive to his workers, Kelly Johnson called it the Paradise Ranch, which was soon shortened to the Ranch. "Much of the information contained in the newly released documents was already known to Area 51 aficionados, but the fact that the air base is mentioned in a publicly available document is nevertheless considered notable.A public records request initially yielded documents, reviewed by National Security Archive senior fellow Jeffrey Richelson in 2002, but all mentions of Area 51 had been redacted.Mr Richelson says he requested the history again in 2005 and received a version a fewweeks ago with mentions of Area 51 restored. Officials have already acknowledged in passing the existence of the facility in central Nevada where the government is believed to test intelligence tools and weapons.Mr Richelson believes the new document shows the CIA is becoming less secretive about Area 51's existence, if not about whatgoes on there."It marks an end of official secrecy about thefacts of Area 51," Mr Richelson told The Las Vegas Sun. "It opens up the possibility that future accounts of this and other aerial projects will be less redacted, more fully explained in terms of their presence in Area51." Area 51 is home to a number of buildings, hangars and an active airstrip. While the ground and airspace around the base is restricted it hasn't stopped enthusiasts from finding ways to obtain photographs from a distance. Satellite images have also become available showing the layout of the base in more detail. It is believed that the base has been used as a facility for developing and testing new experimental aircraft and aviation technologies and is famously connected to the UFO phenomenon through conspiracy theories suggesting that the United States is testing either captured alien spacecraft or new vehicles based on alien technology. The area around Area 51 including the small town of Rachel on the aptly named 'Extraterrestrial Highway' is a popular tourist destination and is steeped in UFO culture. Tours taking visitors to the famous 'trespassers will be shot' signs at the very edge of the restricted area have been a popular attraction. Area 51 has been featured in numerous films, books and television shows for many years including blockbuster movies like Independence Day and shows such as the X-Files. It has become a symbol of government coverups and alien conspiracies in popular culture.

gboss4sure: Man, when you sit at a civilian house, shoot rockets to my house and surround yourself with children and cameras to take pictures only when i react you better say your last prayer because I will come down really hard on you.Hamas is not getting away with this one..Isreal would keep replying unless Hamas back down. A groundbreaking new app for Google Glass allows users to take photos just by thinking about them. MindRDR claims to be the world’s first telekinetic app for the hi-tech specs that lets a wearer use brainwaves to take photos of what they can see, simply by concentrating really hard on the image. As well as thinking about taking the photo, wearers can then use the power of thought to share the pictures on Twitter and Facebook. MindRDR claims to be the world’s first telekinetic app for Google Glass (pictured along with a sensor) and uses brainwaves to take photos of what a wearer sees, as well as sharing their snaps on Twitter and Facebook HOW DOES IT WORK? The current version of MindRDR uses commercially available brain monitor Neurosky MindWave Mobile to analyse brainwaves, expressed as meditation and attention levels. These values are used to build up session information that charts concentration levels over time. Wearers of Glass and the sensor can take photos by concentrating and relaxing. The app’s visual feedback is represented by a horizontalline that sits in the middle of the screen, which moves closer to the top of the screen the more users concentrate. The more they relax, the further down the screen the line goes. Once the line reaches the top of the screen, Google Glass takes the photo. At the nextscreen, users either concentrate to move the line to the top of the screen and share it, or relax to move the line to the bottom to discard the image and take another photo. The app also shows users ‘scores’ of how they are doing and signals success using emojis. It means that users of Glass no longer have to touch the specs or use a voice command to take a picture, which will thrill some photographers but cause other people to worry that the innovation could be used to invade their privacy by wearers taking covert photos. Built by London-based firm This Place, the free app, which launches today, uses Google Glass and the Neurosky EEG biosensor. The app enables the sensor, which measures brainwaves to translate brain activity into action, to communicate with Google Glass, allowing users to control actions on the device by concentratingand relaxing. MindRDR presents GoogleGlass wearers with visual feedback throughout the process to demonstrate how close they are to taking a picture and then lets them share it on social media channels. ‘Google Glass is one of the world’s most recognisable and popular pieces of wearable technology, but after getting our hands on it, the challenge of connecting it to brainwaveswas one we could not resist,’ said Dusan Hamlin, founder and CEO of This Place.Built by London-based firm This Place, the free app uses Google Glass and the Neurosky EEG biosensor to measure a wearer’s brainwaves and allow them to take photos simply by concentrating on whatis in front of them. ‘Currently, users either have to touch it or use voice commands, which are restrictive for some social situations and for users withdisabilities.‘All we could think was, how can we make the user’s experience even better? We wanted to realise the true potential of Glass by allowing users to control it with their minds. ’MindRDR’s visual feedback is represented by a horizontal line that sits in the middle of the screen, which moves closer to the top of the screen the more users concentrate. The more they relax, the further down the screen theline goes. Once the line reaches the top of the screen, Google Glass takes a photo. At the next screen, users either concentrate to move the line to the top of the screen and share it, or relax to move the line to thebottom to discard the imageand take another photo.MindRDR presents Google Glass wearers (pictured) with visual feedback throughout the process to demonstrate how close they are to taking a picture. It is designed to make communicating and collecting information less obvious then voice commands and touching a buttonChloe Kirton, creative director at This Place, says:‘While MindRDR’s current capabilities are limited to taking and sharing an image, the possibilities of Google Glass telekinesis are vast. ‘In the future, MindRDR could give those with conditions like locked-in syndrome, severe multiple sclerosis or quadriplegia the opportunity to interact withthe wider world through wearable technology like Google Glass.‘This Place is already in conversation with Professor Stephen Hawking, amongst others, about the possibilities MindRDR could bring as the product evolves. ’Mr Hamlin said: ‘Imagine aworld where you can interact with wearable devices just by thinking about the content you want. That’s the world we’rebuilding, and we’re just getting started.’In a bid to help the technology catch-on, the MindRDR software is opensource and is available on GitHub from today.
