A killer dad punched his five-year-old son to death for eating his Father's Day cheesecake, a US court has heard.





Travis Stackhouse, 30, blamed metal implants in his hand for rupturing Sir Amer Stackhouse's internal organs, it was said.

He this week admitted second-degree reckless homicide, child abuse and child neglect as the victim's six-year-old brother was about to give evidence to his trial, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

The prosecution alleged that the Milwaukee dad was upset that his children were eating most of his Father’s Day cheesecake.

It was reported that he punched his son and smacked the boy’s face with the back of his hand, which contains metal from a surgery.

The child pronounced dead early the next morning, after Stackhouse returned from a bar and the family called 911, the newspaper said.

Sir Amer suffered a ruptured stomach, bruised kidneys and a torn adrenal gland, and died from blunt force trauma to the abdomen, the article said.

Stackhouse, of Wisconsin, reportedly faces 37 years in jail after he changed his pleas to guilty on Wednesday following two days' of witness evidence.

Prosecutors were said to have introduced his taped confession as evidence and he now faces 37 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.

The newspaper reported Stackhouse admitted that he struck the boy's face with the back of his hand in June 2019.

The man (name withheld) appeared before Harare Magistrate Richard Mangosi charged with rape. He was advised to apply for bail at the High Court.

The State represented by Lancelot Mutsokoti alleges that on the 1st of May 2021 at around 1600 hours, the accused person send a WhatsApp message to the complainant asking to go with her for a braai. Parties agreed and made an appointment to pick her at her place of residence.

In the company of his friend, the accused proceeded to pick the complainant and proceeded to Belgravia Shops where they had the braai and drank a mixture of whiskey and tonic.

At around 2000 hours, the complainant asked the accused’s friend to take her home but he refused and the accused opted to go with her to his place to spent the night since it was late.

Parties proceeded to the accused’s place, proceeded to the bedroom and sat on the bed. The accused started to smoke marijuana, the complainant got into the blanket wearing her clothes. After a few minutes, the accused removed his clothes and was left with a short and got into the blankets.

The accused started caressing the complainant and she tried to stop him but he persisted, he went on to remove the complainant’s tights and pant, complainant tried to lock her legs but to no avail.

The accused went on top of the complainant whilst she was facing upwards and raped her once without her consent.

After he finished, the accused smoked dagga again after finishing he went to the complainant and had unprotected sexual intercourse with her for the second time without her consent.

Accused continued this until morning around 0800 hours when the complainant asked to be taken home and he escorted her home.

Whilst at home complainant sent the accused a voice note telling him she was not happy with what he did to her. She then told her sister who escorted her to the police station.

It is shocking to hear the death of a missing young graduate who was reportedly raped and killed.

A female university graduate who went missing four days ago have been reportedly found dead.

Iniobong Umoren, who went in search of a Job on the 29th April 2021, reportedly went missing since then.

And the Nigerian Police have been in search of the missing young girl, and however arrested some suspects involved in her disappearance, Stechitegist.com learnt.

A 38-year-old man, Kelfari Jediel, has been arrested in Adamawa for allegedly stabbing his uncle’s son, 20-years-old Parambiu Alexander to death while fighting over N150.

According to Stechitegist reports, the incident occurred at Fotta community in Gombi Local Government Area of the state after the duo were paid for a job they had carried out.

During interrogation at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the state Police Command in Yola, the father-of-two said he and the deceased were engaged in a plaster job on April 14.

They shared the money they were paid after completing the job, however, he was supposed to give the deceased a balance of N150 but decided not to do so.

The suspect said that Parambiu kept insisting that he must give him the money. His refusal to give him the money led to a quarrel between them. He explained that a woman heard them fighting over the balance and settled the matter by giving Parambiu the sum of N150.

Kelfari said that after the woman left, the deceased insisted that the original N150 balance must be given to him as according to him, the money the woman gave him was a gift and not the balance. He claimed that he went to the house of the deceased, met his mother and narrated everything to her, adding that she ”advised him to report the matter to the police.”

Unknown gunmen over the weekend stormed Agbo Hotel at Ajaawa community, Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area of Oyo State, kidnapping the owner of the hotel, Olukunle Oyedokun, his younger wife with the child she is nursing, two daughters, granddaughter, sister-in-law, her son and a guest at the hotel.

Daily Independent reports that the wife of the hotelier, Busayo Oyedokun, and the baby she’s nursing; his first child, Omoriyeba, and her six-year-old daughter, Adesewa; his brother’s wife, Julianah Oyedokun, and her 10-year-old son, John; and another child belonging to Oyedokun, Oluwajuwonlo alongside a guest in his hotel were whisked away by the abductors.

The gunmen were said to have stormed the hotel at about 10pm, shooting sporadically into the air before abducting their victims.

Family sources say the kidnappers have made calls through the victims’ phones, demanding N15 million as ransom.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Adewale Osifeso, has confirmed the incident and has said that efforts are being made to rescue the victims and arrest the culprits.

One must apply wisdom or common sense in everything one does. People cannot say that because I married at 18, therefore they can also do it. The question is, ‘are you ready for marriage’? When I was at that age, I was ready. I had been working since I was 15-years-old and I had become a millionaire at the age of 18. That is a fact that a lot of people don’t know.

Unknown gunmen on Saturday gunned down two security men on duty before burning the Governor Hope Uzodimma’s house in Omuma in the Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State.

According to report, one of the security men killed was an operative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity, cars parked at the compound and part of the building were affected by the fire.

According to the source, the security men on duty repelled the gunmen, leading to the death of the two cops.

An unconfirmed report say that the gunmen killed two other security men at Oguta-Mgbidi Junction, a road that leads to the governor’s country home.

The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, confirmed the incident.

We can say many undergraduates have been engaged in one thing or the other while at home, and have almost forgotten everything they’ve been taught at school.

I was so shocked when some students asked me how would they get their Matriculation number because they’ve forgotten and it seems complex to retain.

Truth be told, I was filled with laughter because its sounds so funny and hard to believe. But I decided to come up with this helpful post for our heartfelt readers so as to help students retrieve their Matriculation number.

Relax and take a deep breath, you have nothing to be scared about. I will be sharing with you several ways to retrieve your Matriculation number.

Check Your School ID Card:
A lot of students don’t know that their Matriculation number is inscribed in their school Identification card. If you haven’t misplaced your ID card, you can check it to retrieve your Matriculation number.

Check Your Previous Tests and Assignments Papers:
If you have access to your past assignment and test questions, you can check it as well to retrieve your Matriculation number. If you’re the type that writes your matric number, Name, Level and department on your scripts, this will really help you in finding your personal identification number

Ask Your Departmental Friends:
This is a common method I use sometimes. We have some departmental colleagues that sits either in front or behind us during exams. If they can remember theirs, it is a perfect clue for you to retrieve yours. Ask them either through call/Whatsapp or if you have the opportunity to meet with them on campus. And it may happen that some of your friends might even know your matric number, so don’t hesitate to discuss with them too.

Ask Your Course Rep:
Your course Rep remains the intermediary between you and Lecturers. They sometimes have records or data of all departmental students. You can ask them to help you retrieve yours and if they are unable to, use the next step.

Visit The ICT Unit or Departmental Office:
The surest hands to get these first hand information about you is from the ICT units, where ID cards are printed. You can as well visit your departmental office to request for your Matriculation number.

Finally, if you’re a fresher, you can check your school portal if you’ve been assigned a Matriculation number.

A lawyer, identified as Bolanle Cole has shared a shocking story of Tunde Thomas and FCMB MD, Adam Nuru in which has broken the heart of so many internet users.

Tunde Thomas, happened to be an husband who had his wife working under the managing Director of FCMB, Adam Nuru as her boss.

Stechitegist reports that Tunde wife, Moyo Thomas had allegedly being having an affair with her MD and this relationship was well known throughout the organization.

Their affair had become so intimate that the two lovebirds get carried away and throw caution to the wind.

It was reported that the dirty incident has been going on for a long time between the FCMB MD and a subordinate staff of the same organization, Moyo Thomas.

Tunde had two kids from his marriage, not until when his older child was eight years old, the wife decided to resign from FCMB and travel to the US with the two children, ostensibly on holiday.

When Tunde realized that school has resumed in Nigeria and his children are not back from the US, he decided to question his wife and demanded to know why they haven't returned.

While Mrs Moyo Thomas was filing for asylum in the US, she broke the news to her husband, Tunde Thomas that the kids were not his.

Her aim was to get the green card and to also get Tunde to be barred from entering the US, so she would not have any reason to confront him, Stechitegist.com learnt.

This news emotionally affected Tunde, in which made him suffered a stroke at the age 42.

Eventually, he recovered from the sickness but became a shadow of his former self. Stechitegist.com learnt that he often shed tears from the blues. Not until he died at Age 45.

Tunde Thomas (alias Tunde Gentle), 45, died about two weeks ago from heartbreak. The two kids from his marriage were indeed fathered by a man without scruples or conscience, the current MD of FCMB, Adam Nuru who was his wife’s boss (MD) in FCMB. Tunde’s wife, Moyo Thomas

(Nee Ojo), a useless an unconscionable adulterer was engaged in an office romance with her MD, a relationship that was well known throughout the organization as the lack of shame and decorum in both lovebirds made them to get carried away and to throw caution to the wind.

FCMB, an organization without proper rules or governance looked the other way while the open and unprofessional romance was going on between the MD and a subordinate staff of the same organization, a married woman.

The MD, Adam Nuru, who was supposed to be the chief
Governance Officer and Chief Image Maker of FCMB spared no thought for the husband of this lady who was bringing up his (Nuru’s) two children while thinking they were his. He also did not think of the organization he was leading while engaging in this foul conduct, the scandal with which no ethical organization would want to be associated.

Tunde was so in love with & attached to his wife & children that he spent most of his resources on them. He took them to London & Dubai on holidays. He also spared no penny in putting them in the best schools

At the height of the shameful relationship and when the older child was about eight ( years old, the lady suddenly resigned from FCMB and travelled to the US with the two children, ostensibly on holiday. It was when the school session started in Nigeria and the children were not returned that Tunde started asking questions and the lady finally summoned the shameless courage to tell him the children were not his own.

She then went to the extent of filing for asylum in the US on the ground of marital violence in Nigeria, against a man

known to all men by his gentle and easygoing disposition. Her aim was to get the Green Card and to also get Tunde to be barred from entering the US, so she would not have to confront him to look him in the eye and tell him to his face the evil that she had done to him.

Within a few months of hearing this news, Tunde suffered a stroke at about the age of 42. He recovered from the stroke but became a shadow of his former self. He would often shed tears from the blues.

Recently, he tried to pick up the pieces of his life and started another

relationship with a lawyer lady. Tunde had invited some friends to accompany him to visit the lady’s parents on 26th December. They were planning the materials to take along for the visit but alas, it was not to be. Tunde got home from work in the night of 15th December

only to collapse by his staircase and die immediately. Autopsy report puts the cause of death as heart failure.

The wicked souls, Adam Nuru and Moyo Ojo (later Moyo Thomas) have done their worst, the death of an innocent man, and their hands are dripping with his blood.

God will demand it of them.

In the meantime, the family and friends of Tunde Thomas (alias Tunde Gentle) hereby wish to bring this shameful conduct to the knowledge of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the board and management of FCMB and to members of the public.

We use this medium to call on FCMB to separate and detach its brand from this evil man, Adam Nuru, immediately. If this notice is ignored and Adam Nuru is at his desk in another two weeks from 30th December 2020, we will be left with no option than to vehemently call the attention of the public to the abysmal lack of ethics in the organization and to advise the members of the public to withdraw their funds and banking business from FCMB.

N:B Tunde Gentle was buried 30th December 2020.

He had worked in Oceanic Bank back in the days. He was one of the most gentle and yet, most friendly of all individuals, as many would testify of him.

He died as an Executive Director in an asset management company, GDL Asset Management Company Ltd.

He was survived by an aged mother and siblings.

May his truly gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has said it will intervene in the hike in tuition fees by some tertiary institutions in the South-West geopolitical zone.

This was contained in the New Year message by the South-West Zonal Coordinator of the body, Comrade Kappo Samuel Olawale, in Lagos on Friday. The body pledged a proactive intervention in the matter.

Recall that only recently, the management of the Lagos State University, LASU, announced a hike in the tuition fees to be paid by new intakes of the institution. It was increased from N25,000 to N67, 048 for the new intakes, while 200 level students and above would pay the old rate of N25,000 until they graduate.

Olawale said, “I am confident that in 2021, we will be able to present a more radical interference of reform in the payable tuition of various institutions under the aegis of our leadership and we shall sail the struggle through the brinks of reduction of tuitions which are sanely contradictory.”

Listing other programmes the student body would like to pursue during the year, Olawale said inter-tertiary institutions debate competition would also be organised. He also gave the assurance that victimised students would have a shoulder to lean on in NANS.

Moment those who preach forgiveness can’t forgive because of d–k. A Prophetess, identified simply as Grace, has been arrested after bathing a woman, Ngwa Vanessa Kim, with hot water for allegedly being romantically involved with her cleric husband, Apostle Daniel Mbongchom.

Apostle Mbongchom and his wife head the Enlightened Church of Wonder, a Christian denomination based in Douala, Cameroon.

The couple were said to have recently held a three-day crusade between December 17 and 20, days before the incident on Christmas eve.

Vanessa, a gospel singer, was reportedly at the crusade. It was further reported that Grace became jealous when her husband requested that Vanessa ministers in during the crusade.

Reports claimed Grace confronted Vanessa publicly and threatened to deal with her if she does not stop her relationship with her husband.

The injured woman, who is currently at a medical facility in Douala, says Grace risks going to jail if she fails to apologise publicly to gain her forgiveness.
