I'm interested in your hospital equipment and I would like to have more information - email: eddyeti2004@gmail.com |
This is the ultra lowest point of self-esteem......., The amount of money he uses to maintain such atrocious color can be ploughed into other productive things..... He says Glutathione has no side effects.....True. .....but does he realise that there's another cancer of the skin called Melanoma? This is very common in people who decide to lower the pigment that protects them from the UV radiation of the sunlight..... I pray he doesn't wake up in future to plead for financial aid if he gets any malignancy..... I can't imagine someone transforming himself from his God-given protective structure to a form that scares the bejesus out of the devil...... |

coogar: you are a bush man. This is what happens when you try to convince a neanderthal. I made my facts and reasons point and clear. |
coogar: legend = the story being told about famous or infamous people generally. they don't have to contribute positively to be legends. a serial killer is a legend so is a freedom fighter like mandela. you can google it & confirm. whether famous or notorious - as long as people talk about it en masse - a legend is born.Maybe in your own little stratosphere. You might as were build images and statutes of them and idolize them. |
coogar: urban legends are incredible stories – sometimes scary, sometimes funny – which have a tantalizing bit of plausibility to them. urban legends contain many folkloric elements and they spread quickly through a community or society.I am sorry but I do not agree with you on this. There's nothing legendary about someone who decides to carry arms and terrorise other citizens, killing those who go about their daily living. There's nothing legendary about such people. If you believe they are legends, then you are inadvertently encouraging someone out there who can't live above his means to take up a gun and go on a spree killing. Neither does encouraging nollywood producers or actors to act the script of such notorious psychopaths a worthy act. If you want to help the victims of these criminals, there are better ways of doing such like organizing a fundraiser, et al and not eulogising these criminals and asking the proceeds of such acts be given to the victims. Please don't call an armed robber an urban LEGEND. You are simply bastardizing that word 'Legend' and in the process placing evil in the midst of good...... There are people who have made significant and amazing contributions to humanity and are called LEGENDS and I don't think placing criminals in the same class as these people is the right thing. |
Killing by firing squad is just too easy for these guys. The best punishment would be a combination of psychological, physical, mental, emotional and social. I could list the best ways for torture out here but I may end up being termed psychopathic...... The best form of torture would have been to break down his spirit, body, mind and soul till he wishes and begs to die. As times have changed, criminals also advance in their modus operandi, so also the state and police should advance in methods of deterring people from acts of criminalism.... Death by firing squad is an easy option for him and ended up making him feel like a celebrity. The same thing that most likely encouraged the uprise of people like Anini et al..... Also, I don't think remembering notorious psyhopaths like oyenusi and co, goes well in honoring the memory of those people he killed. In as muh as we take time to remember his crimes, we should also take time to remember those lives he killed innocently. They were all Fathers, Daughters, sons, mothers, uncles, aunts, friends.....police officers as well who dedicated their lives to the service of this nation. I don't think their lives were any less than any of these psychopaths...... I believe that for Nigeria to change, it's little acts like remembering the lives lost and taken away by these psychopaths that matter instead of glamorizing the criminals. Ditto for cases where politicians who have enmeshed themselves in corrupt practices end up having their praises sang to the high heavens instead of receiving the proper condemnation. To this end, I would like to use this medium to commemorate with families, friends, of people whose relatives have lost their lives to psychopaths. May Almighty God grant you all the fortitude to bear the loss. To police officers who risk their lives during the discharge of their duties and in trying to keep every one of us safe, May God bless your families. To Families of police officers who have lost a loved one, May you all know that your friend, relative's service to Nigeria will never be forgotten. Even if the govt, or everyone forgets you, Almighty God will never. God Bless Nigeria. |
This is the problem I have with practice of religion in Nigeria. How can a church suddenly embark on a crusade to close down beer centres. Do they realise that the alcohol industry is a source of livelihood to many Nigerians. Not exempting the amount of contribution it provides the country in terms of GDP. Countries like Germany, Netherlands have a vibrant beer industry. Even in Africa, Namibia owes a significant portion of her GDP/per capita to the beer industry. I don't see why MFM should embark on such ridiculous plan and prayer. I believe before they even proceed, someone should ask them of what benefit economically, financially, would the conversion of beer centres to prayer centres.... I think it's time for Nigerians and Africans to practice religion with wisdom. News and Talks from religious men gets me to think if religious leaders in Nigeria really have the right mindset and are interested in seeing the country prosper..... Lord, as You enlighten and help our leaders to lead aright, also help and grant Your servants, - The pastors, priests, imams to teach what is right and grant them the wisdom to know what is right. Amen |
mummyf: St edwin, I can stand on it that its better to use glycated haemoglobin test instead of the blood glucose test. If a patient has a level over 6percent, u can immediately say that person has diabetes. The world is more civilised now and even WHO has approved glycated heamo test for diabetes diagnosis.I replied to your comment earlier but I do not know why it isn't appearing. Glycated hemoglobin takes time. Yes, WHO may have indicated that it is the most accurate however, in medical practice where time is of importance and an immediate diagnosis is required, most modern health care facilities still use the routine Instant blood glucose monitoring kit. Exceptions like pregnant women, where an Oral Glucose tolerance test is done initially and most times on the ward where Fasting blood sugar is ordered. However, Medical professionals still stick to using glycated hemoglobin as a tool to access compliance and control over a 3month period. Also, research has indicated that glycated hemoglobin can produce false positive and negative results sometimes especially in patients with fast hemoglobin turn-over like sickle cell anemia patients. Or patients on chronic use of medications like aspirin, vit. C. Currently a new tool being used is a FRUCTOSAMINE ASSAY. U can also research on this to get more information. Thanks. |
Mbatagr82: WHY CANT YOU RECOMEND HER TO A MEDICAL LAB CLOSE TO HER. THAT THE BEST COUNSEL. And are you A Physician or what?In medical practice, besides getting your patient the best treatments possible, all round care also involves providing most convenient way comfortable for you and your patients to adequately monitor theie health. In furtherance to your question, if you were a patient, would you consider it convenient for you to constantly keep visiting a medical lab just because you want to monitor your blood glucose? Besides, in terms of cost-effectiveness, it's cheaper and affordable for patients to get a blood glucose kit than going every day to a medical lab. And to your last question, I am a Doctor. Thanks for your contribution. |
4tunebest: Must I visit the Lab each time I want to carry out the test? The test isnt done once and for all. It is done periodically to ensure that the blood sugar doesnt exceed the normal range. If there's a better option for me, why shouldnt I explore it? Besides, the kit isnt meant for me. I want to get it for my parents for effective monitoring of their blood sugar. Just as there are kits for measuring blood pressure @ home, so that there's no need to visit the clinic each time the blood pressure is to be measured.Sorry, been quite busy.... @4tunebest, I would also like to recommend if you can't get any medical store close to you, you can order for some online. Also make provisions for the test strips as well. You want to have alot of them to last a while. Some antispambot also keeps banning me. I am not sure why. |
4tunebest: Please St. Edwin, is there a blood sugar test kit for home use? If yes, where can it be purchased. ThanksYes maim, There are blood glucose test kit for home use. I will suggest that you go to a medical store closest to you. I am not sure if the regular pharmacy stores in Nigeria sell them. I will recommend you go to a medical store though. I want to also take this opportunity to commend you for the effort in trying to check your blood glucose values at home. It will give you a good idea on how well you are able to control it. If possible, I will also advise that you get a small notepad and record the readings every day based on the following; Pre-breakfast, After breakfast, Pre-lunch, After-lunch, Pre-dinner, Post-dinner, and just before bedtime. All the best. |
habib55: .The discomfort causes stomach 2 b stiff in the sense dat wen i seat down i wont b abl breath deep because of my tight stomach, and i feel dar s alot of pressure(weight) around my left kidney.Do you consume alcohol? Are you on any medications? Have you had any tests for amylase and lipase levels? Your symptoms point to an increase in abdominal size, perhaps you might need to work on your weight. So far all your symptoms do not point to any major organ disease. Pressure around your left kidney may not necessarily mean kidney disease. You may have a muscle strain based on your weight..... |
nanauju: Doc, I've been feeling uncomfortable arnd my private parts and it may be due to STI, though I have tried treating it but it seems to always re occur. I'm tired of it besides, it's causing me soo much. A pharmacist advised that it might be UTI. I'm really confused on what to do....pls helpI would like to know the following; 1. Any abnormal discharge from ur Genitals? What is the color of the discharge if any? Any odor? 2. Any fever? Any pain on urination? Any lower abdominal pain? 3. Have you had any unprotected sexual intercourse recently? 4. What medications have you used previously to treat this problem? 5. Any ulcerations on your genitals? 6. Alot of diagnosis are in mind here. -they range from chronic cervicitis, STIs, UTI. You will need to have a microbial specimen of your genital are taken in order to have an appropriate diagnosis of what organism is responsible so as to have a specific antibiotic treatment. In the meantime, I will like to suggest that you inform your partner on the need for him/her to also seek medical treatment and undergo the same microbiology test. Infections of the genital organs need to be treated in both partners to eliminate and avoid further spread and resistance. Meanwhile, discontinue any antibiotic you are taking and get the test done. Once the test results are out and the organism is established and sensitivity determined, then you can begin a focused and organism specific treatment. |
Bmark: Doctors In HouseWell, To begin with, how old are you? An age range would be ok. You have quite alot of symptoms. First of all, I don't think you need that treatment for latent T.B because your symptoms do not point to that. Do you have any swelling of your arm? Have u had any chest pain? Any changes or pin-point bleeding beneath your fingers? Any swellings on the palms or soles of your feet? Before getting an echocardiogram, have you had an EKG done? Have u had any? Any history of sickle cell disease? Any previous history of trouble breathing? As for your question on any drug or herb that makes the heart stronger, I am sorry there's no drug of that sort. Perhaps you could try and be abit more specific on what you mean by making the heart 'strong'. I have a few differentials in mind even with the little information you have provided. Also, bear in mind that my diagnosis is based on your history. To get a full diagnosis, a combined history and a physical examination are needed. However, at the moment, a physical examination is ruled out...... my dx include; 1. Infectious Endocarditis 2. Valvular heart disease. 3. Atelectasis |
mummyf: You cannot categorically say if your blood sugar is 121mg/dl ,u are diabetic. You might have consumed something that might cause a sugar spike at that moment, it doesn't mean u are diabetic.Well....that's understandable. However, my 121mg/dl value is based on an overnight fast. We all know when going to the hospital for a glucose test, doctors advise an overnight fast and no meals in the morning. So for the benefit of all doubt, any blood glucose level >120mg/dl after an overnight fast is a predisposition for diabetes mellitus. Glycated hemoglobin is not used to DETECT diabetes, rather it is a test to access a patient's compliance in controlling their blood glucose usually over a 3month period of time. This is because the lifespan of an average RBC is 3months...... Normal values for glycated hemoglobin are between 4-5.9%. To detect if a patient is diabetic, a fasting blood sugar level is done. If the levels are >120mg/dl, an Oral Glucose tolerance Test may or maynot be done. Depending on the health center. |
People don't like the truth....someone here just said that decoration looks local and some people have jumped into insulting her. Truth be told.....That's a poor job at decoration. Personally, I fail to see the beauty in that. Even if the camera was changed to a "100mega pixel" I doubt it would change..... The design, creativity and finesse are simply lacking in whatever they were trying to put together. The different structures were poorly arranged. Perhaps a blind man was the head of the decorating team...that might be the only palatable explanation. |
Hello Everyone, I do not intend to bore you all with the medical jargons and details about these two chronic ailments. However, I will give you a brief information of what you need to know and then allow you guys ask any questions you may have in mind. Diabetes Mellitus - In simple terms this is a disease of deranged blood sugar levels. Our blood sugar is under regulation by a number of hormones but the most important is INSULIN. Defects in insulin activity ranging from absence , to decreased sensitivity of insulin to the body can result in two common major types of diabetes- type 1 and type 2. The normal levels in the body are between 70-120mg/dl.... If your blood sugar is 121mg/dl, you are definitely diabetic. WHY should we pay attention to our body when diabetic? As a diabetic, God is simply saying you have to take extra care of your body...... Diabetes predisposes one to infection, visual abnormalities, neurons and nervous system can be affected, heart, brain, kidneys, GIT all need good love and care...... WHEN should you worry? Do you have a family history? Do you eat alot of junk? Consume excess amounts of alcohol, beer, Do you find urself going to the washroom to pass urine more than necessary, do you eat alot, do you feel too tired even though you have eaten? GET ur blood sugar levels tested. HYPERTENSION - this is a disease of the blood pressure. The body needs a certain level of blood pressure to maintain normal homeostatic functions. Any values below or above can lead to organ malfunction due to inability to maintain its function. Blood pressure is taken with a systolic - a medical term that simply means the amount of pressure your heart is generating in order for it to pump that blood out. And Diastolic - the pressure your blood vessels generate while trying to receive this blood from the heart and deliver it to the tissues. Normal b.p levels are: Systolic - 90-120mmhg diastolic - 60-90mmhg. Now if you have a b.p of 90/70mmhg...that's normal. I have my b.p between the range of 90-110mmhg/60-70mmhg. WHY is it important to control your b.p - increased b.p decreases the amount of time the tissues need to absorb the nutrients from the blood and at the same time decrease in blood supply. As we all age, our blood vessels thicken due to collagen and all....and this decreases the size of the blood vessel, increases the pressure it takes for blood to be effectively delivered to the tissues. Without control of ur b.p, this resultant pressure increase causes your heart to work more, and thereafter increases in size, eventually leading to heart failure, ur kidneys are stressed and that can lead to hypertensive kidney disease, brain - headaches, stroke, can all result from uncontrolled b.p WHEN to worry? Any family history, excess salt intake? A research that was conducted says that Africans retain alot of sodium, therefore we should reduce our sodium intake. What should you do? Exercise - try exercises like yoga, try a daily 10-15 minute meditation exercise......diets. Eat more fruits, vegetables....... You can ask any questions you may have.....Let's promote a healthy society. Let's live healthily. |
habib55: i did d test because i was having discomfort not "pain"around my left abdomen which sumtimes radiate 2 my back."Pain" or "discomfort" around your left abdomen radiating to your back is not kidney disease. Anyway, you haven't given full details of what this "discomfort" looks like. However, ur kidneys are fine based on those test results.... |
ridboy94: pls anyone to help me out...How old are you? Do you have any fever? Any cough? Any nausea or vomiting? Where is this abdominal pain? How would you describe it? Does the pain radiate, move? Any constipation, diarrhea? Cough? Chest pain? Are you sexually active? Have you had any unprotected sexual intercourse? Any discharge on urination? Any back pain? You might have a Urinary tract infection, your abdominal pain can also be a result of Acute cystitis, I would suggest you undergo a few tests like Urinalysis, Urine culture and sensitivity, Urea, creatinine and electrolytes, blood tests -cbc, Take care |
zalam: Plz doc, which drug can one use to increase M̶̲̥̅♈ dick size cos av suffer up to two breakup cos of it plz come to M̶̲̥̅♈ aidCurrently, there are no drugs in medical science that have that kind of effect. I have heard of penis enlargement products but I don't have much information on them and the mechanism of action and how it is used. As such I can't offer you much advise on that. However, as for your relationship problems, I think it will be best to seek the advice of a relationship specialist because penile size isn't the most common of reasons for break ups. All the best. |
Elantracey: Pls doc ah always ve constant headache n anytime ah sleep ah always wake up wit pains in ma back bone, could dis just be a result of stress or sometin elseConstant headache? ....What's your occupation? Your headaches might be a result of stress if you undergo any......Do you have any episodes of "avoiding light or sound (photophobia and phonophobia)" during the headaches, any nausea and vomiting accompanying the headache? Where do you have the headaches more? Right side, left side, or just around your head? Do your eyes and nose have any discharge during the headache? Any fever? What is your diet like? Are you on any current medications? Do you also have any neurological symptoms along with the headache? As for your back pain, the most likely explanation can your sleeping position, do you stand alot at your work place. By standing I mean.....for most of the day..... Another thing I am thinking of is Are you pregnant? Any history of stds? Trouble with passing urine....any abdominal pain..... |
delightful1: Thanks for the reply.. I always change soap because of this so I can dictate if it's the soap, I use Vaseline (basically). I also change my sponge more often (I don't even bath with sponge most times).I would most likely suggest the following as a plan of care: 1. It would be better if you stick to using one soap, sponge. Using and changing your body care products frequently would result in you having an allergy to a particular ingredient or product that you may not be aware of. 2. Do you have the itches after a warm or cold bath? 3.Any skin lesions? Any family history of skin conditions and allergies like eczema, atopic dermatitis 4. Try to get the blood test done as well..... 5. Is there anything that exacerbates the itching like heat, excess sweating..... |
Emmadani: lol, that wan is not enough 4 you mr hater.dnt allow me start breaking record for you o.Don't bother....before you start listing records like biggest governor's lodge, or biggest pedestrian bridge, longest flyover....." "Biggest roundabout" in d 21st century, ke ewo aben a nam ata ekamba n kpo......Lol....I laugh in buganda..... |
Emmadani: this thread is not meant for haters like you that would always criticize gud tinz, haters will always die as a result of hatred and jealousy, let me not say your life would be cut of short,it might seem harsh..,but guy,you are on a shooort thing. If constructive criticism can be misconstrued as 'hating' from whatever village you come from, Then there's no hope. Lord, please bless my country with mentally sound people. How does my constructive criticism degenerate into ur cutting one's lifespan.... My argument stands.... Akpabio has done a few projects which are not commiserate with the monthly allocation he receives....You and your fellow likes should ask for his accountability. Secondly, you guys should quit taking pictures of the same roads at different angles, that's an insult to the public. Thirdly, if you can't constructively respond to my proposition in an Educated and mature manner without resorting to name calling and labelling one as "haters" or whatever, just don't bother replying.....It is as simple as it can be. P.S: I just typed all that in simple English, if you don't understand, don't bother. Just to avoid you asking another fellow of ur likemindedness to explain and he or she might also interpret this as "haters"...... |
habib55: please i did a blood test nd dz d result..CREATININE 1.03mg/dl(0.6-1.4)..URETHER 14.20mg/dl(10-55).please wot does dz result mean in regard 2 kidney functionYour kidney function is good. You have nothing to worry about. Those results are within normal range. Though if I may ask, why did u do the test? P.S: its not 'urether', it is UREA. |
delightful1: Morning doc, pls my body itches me after a bath and sometimes when it's sunny, I stopped using sponge but it's still the same. What can I do pls? There are a few diagnosis I have in mind. Besides the itching, I would like to know if it's related to the soap you use, body cream, or food. There's something you might be allergic to. However, if allergies are ruled out, I would also want to know if u have had anh rashes on exposure to sunlight. Any yellow discoloration in ur eyes? Finally, I would like to suggest that you get a blood test done.....you might have increased number of RBCs....a condition called Polychtemia rubra vera..... |
joshuapharm: How frequent has been ur bowel movements? Major suspect is appendicitis, or an inflammation of the intestine. U myt want to go for a CT scan or MRI. If the pain is unbearable, u can use colipan tablet( 1 tab twice or thrice a day) before u get proper diagnosis. What a load of crap.....MRI/CT for appendicitis? Did u get ur medical degree online? How did u manage to narrow d symptoms to appendicitis from that one line sentence of a history. |
Emmadani: i will give you dualised federal roads;Ekom iman-Ekit itam federal high way,uyo-abak highway,aka-nnung udoe dual carriage way with the biggest round about in nigeria,uyo-oron road{the airport road},uyo-ikotekpene-aba federal highway, currently dualising eket-etinan road, ekit itam-ikot oko ikono road...,If you no fit pronounce am,SORRI@bolded -What the hell? Are we this developmentally retarded that people now enumerate the size of a 'roundabout' as an achievement? Mon Dieu! Abasi mbok nyang ndito nfo.....Jesus Christ!!! A road with the biggest roundabout is now a milestone? Lord Have Mercy!! |
kel4soft: OPSame thing I have been telling these political noisemakers. How can you take pictures of the same road at different angles and post online as "uncommon transformation". That's just taking the public intelligence for a ride...... This kind of propaganda is sooo 1940, u can't come online and fool the populace..... 19billion naira monthly allocation can do more than that...... Thank you again for properly asking these sycophants....maybe they will begin to realise people are not fools |
Emmadani: ode,you dnt knw what to say again.badbelle to the core.I simply don't want to dignify ur petty sycophancy with a response. Go and meet someone of ur pay-grade and likemindedness..... If in the 21st century, u can be deceived and manipulated based on ethnic sentiments......You are on a long thing....hian |
