As am just looking at that man on suit, it reminded me of a very top official in an organization one time earning close to a million naira per month.

If you ask baba to help us get work in his company, baba no go gree. Baba no dey help anybody. Dem won chop all the money alone.

Covid came, the company retrenched alot of staff both junior and senior including baba.

Baba was now very jobless for months.

Fat chubby baba turned skinny.

The young graduate that was begging him then to help him with work in his company which baba refused now got a small job as an HR Officer.

One morning, the baba reached out to this young HR Officer to please help him find work since he is a recruiter. That he is jobless and needs money even if the pay is 50K.

This was a man earning 850K per month.

This life.

Help people when u are up there.

For you don't know what tomorrow brings.

(A true life story)

I suspect you have not stepped out of Nigeria. If you have, it has probably been for leisure/vacation. It's not just UK but all the developed countries. For the first few years after moving there, you have to endure blue collar/odd jobs before you can fit in. This applies even to medical Doctors. While they prepare to get their licence (which could take years), they have to survive by doing all kinds of odd jobs. If you are too proud to do that, then you are in trouble.

Nigerian Nurses who got NHS job in UK from Nigeria and immigrated in a matter of weeks disagree wholeheartedly to this your post darling.

Let me not call our Nigerian USA Nurses to the forum who also got same too.

Thank you smiley

Most Lecturers are not Teachers.
Most Lecturers are not Teachers.
Most Lecturers are not Teachers

There is a difference between Teaching and Lecturing. Anybody can lecture but not anybody can teach.

Teaching is Gift.
Teaching can also be learnt.

How many of these Nigerian Lecturers studied EDUCATION?
How many have a Bachelors of Education?
How many have a Post Graduate Diploma in Education?
How many?

This is the academic journey of 99% of Nigerian Lecturers...
B.Sc
M.Sc
P.hD
Lecturer.

No Education training. No teacher training. No Education/teaching qualification.
That's why they make BAD Teachers.

That's why most Secondary School Teachers make the BEST Lecturers if grace finds them and they eventually find themselves as Lecturers in Universities.

Why?

This is the academic journey of most secondary school teachers.

Bachelor of Education
Or
Bachelor of Science/Arts in a Subject Specialism + Post Graduate Diploma in Education.
Then
Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Examination for graduates of both programs which gives the successful teachers a TRCN Certificate + Teaching License and makes them a CERTIFIED TEACHER

What these secondary school teachers need is just to do their M.Sc and P.hD and boom, they become Lecturers.

So u can see the difference.

M.Sc and P.hD which most "Nigerian Lecturers" go for will NEVER make you a Teacher except you have a foundation in education already like the secondary school teachers who now become Lecturers have.

Romance / Re: I’m Shy Around Guys, How Do I Overcome The Shyness by StemCellTherapi(m): 8:04pm On Jul 15, 2023
Effizybozz:
As I guy I'm always shy around my fellow guys cry I don’t know why, im trying to overcome the shyness is not just working I act a little bit feminine but not all that girly tho, I’m always shy that they will monk me or say something I wouldn’t like…

How do I overcome this shyness, it actually ki!!ing Me, im an introvert because of this. There are some guys I’m not comfortable around them, when I’m with them I want them to go, secondly if I see group of guys, I will be shy to pass there… if I walk into a place sometimes and I see lots of guys I will be shy at first, then when I look at their faces, the shyness will reduce a bit

What do I do? Is it normal.. I need advice please from

Matured minds only

Just Pray about it.

Tell God to give you the spirit of boldness.

The bible says he has not given us the spirit of fear but the spirit of power, of love and of a sound disciplined mind - 2 Timothy 1 vs 7

A sound mind from God is a mind of bravery and courage.

Ask for the HOLYSPIRIT.

When the HOLYSPIRIT comes upon you, you would be very bold to face anybody. Believe me when I say so.

Do u know why?

The bible says in Acts 4:31-37

"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with BOLDNESS.

The HOLYSPIRIT brings BOLDNESS to your entire life.

Your Prayer Point from tonight should be this...

"Oh Lord God my father, please baptize me with the HOLYSPIRIT".

Keep praying this prayer everyday.

The HOLYSPIRIT will come and enter you and when he does you will know and you will come back to this thread of yours and laugh grin

Remain Blessed.

I love roasted corn.

But I don't like buying it becos when u go to buy, different people will just come and carry their dirty hand which they used to scratch their toto and be touching the corn as it's being roasted

After touching it they will drop it and walk away.

They won't even buy it again.

Then an innocent person will now come and they will sell that one particular corn that has smelt the dirty toto and p*nis hand in the whole universe.

He will now go home and eat it.

After 3 days, sickness from nowhere will start.

I wonder why the sellers allow such dirty behavior from people in their business.

Right now, I'm looking for where to buy charcoal and that "tray net" they put on top the charcoal so I can be roasting my corn at home on Saturday evening's by myself biko.

Some Nigerian's too durty.

Same thing is happening in the Education sector.

Go to any Government secondary school in Nigeria and u will hail the teachers there.

They are over worked with plenty and I mean "Plenty" students to teach.

The work load is enormous.

You might see a single subject teacher in a senior secondary school almost handling the entire senior secondary division with the enormous number of students.

To mark exam scripts na war.

If you do mistake come give assignment, na ur headache. U go ask yourself, who send me.

Yet GOVERNMENT NEVER EMPLOYS NEW TEACHERS to help the ones there. They are just eating the money.

Yet their teachers are the MOST QUALIFIED IN NIGERIA. All studied Education while holding the Government Teaching License.

How many private school teachers studied Education let alone have a teaching license

The government is not doing things well atall. I see the education sector in Nigeria collapsing very soon.

That's why anytime a government school teacher in Nigeria retires, they jubilate.

Learn MARKETING.

No matter the skill you learn, if u don't know how to market that skill to get clients, u are as good as not learning anything.
