PigMeat: yea. Cross river has really lost a lot. The oil wells to akwa ibom and the bakassi stuff. With any good leader we will get there still. |
Politics › Re: IGR: Poor And Rich States In Nigeria - Economic Confidential by StepTwo: 9:37pm On Jun 26, 2016 |
Bluffly: It is cancerous to sob over lost resources. Oil is not the surviving source for world powers so why can't the state put up strategic thinking caps and get the state moving on. |
Politics › Re: IGR: Poor And Rich States In Nigeria - Economic Confidential by StepTwo: 8:59pm On Jun 26, 2016 |
Bluffly: Success requires continuous efforts. So for Cross Rivers, it's not enough to justs start without improving the tourist centres and developing programmes and strategies to keep attracting people. seriously, ceding of the oil wells to Akwa Ibom dealt a heavy blow on the state., imagin cattle ranch, tinapa, marina resort and so on are only now visited by students either on excussion or just normal recreation. the E.P.Z located there has almost completely lost government's attention. |

PigMeat: cross river is not even in the list. I have done a review many times still i cant find it. Have u found it?. yea, i saw her at number 11, way above 25 other states, that doesnt look so bad. |

JingoOAU: Fayosheeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy
Busy cutting PONMO everywhere instead of looking for ways to intensify efforts in generating more IGR
Fayemi was generating as much as 600million monthly then...presently, Ekiti is generating less than 100million per month
I've been wanting to ask this question for long, and I wouldn't mind if someone can tell me point blank
Is just that.......
Where was Fayose working before he became governor in 2013? you forgot to ask where Buhari was working |
Politics › Re: IGR: Poor And Rich States In Nigeria - Economic Confidential by StepTwo: 8:16pm On Jun 26, 2016 |
this is really bad. over dependence on federal revenue is killing most states.
but whatsa up with Cross River with all her tourism, i always expect to see that state among the top 5 when it comes to IGR. |

UAE123: It is really high time this PDP comedy of a thing stop. The founders of the party that are still alive today should urgently meet with the different factions and help to resolve this issue that has been dragging on for long. They are not even playing the role of an opposition party which is really important in a vibrant democracy. those leaders are as kwarapt, do you know how many of them must have benefited from the pockets of sherrif? its difficult for them right now. i dont see this crisss ending anytime soon. |

“We did that in the oil industry and we succeeded. Even if you are going to layoff, there is a way to declare redundancy, there is a process. Section 20 of the Labour Act says it. You must call the unions and discuss with them. You don’t just treat them as slaves in their own country and you want us to keep quiet.“We want them to maintain the status quo. As far as I am the minister of labour, I will protect the interest of workers; same to the telecommunication companies, they are also talking about compiling lists without discussing with anybody.” did he memorize the quoted? this are the exact words he used when in China, abi na replay nationalhelm d give us? |

Ali Modu should be ashamed by now rather hold on to this
99% of the party members dont want you and u still there pushing for it
how about d party's support for him, sure he doesnt think that far.
if he is pained about his jets and money used he should transfer his grievances to those who used them and just step aside.
how shameful it is to see that you are voted out by 99% of ur party men. |

Such mentions of the President's wife in this sacandal has been on since last year, one would have expected that on assumption of power this issue should be substantiated by now but here we are, Office of the presidency being rubbished by such accusation.
this is a big slap in d face of Buhari, and if he is wise enough he should see to it that his wife's name is cleared once and for all.
nice move by the reps. |
