PoliticsRe: Stella Oduah - Crash Is An Act Of God (Viceo) by SterlingTowers(m):
passion007: Ignorant people on this thread.
First, you should learn not to quote people out of context.
She clearly continued in the very next sentence:

She said notwithstanding this
reality, the Federal Government
would continue to ensure there
were no accidents.

Since you must be spoon-fed, let me explain it to you.
The Titanic, in its heyday, represented the best maritime technology could innovate, so much so that it's motto was "Not even God can sink it"
It capsized, eventually, as we know.

Kindly desist from painting Odua as insensitive.
More importantly, do not quote people out of context.

RIP to the victims of the accident once again.
.
Your argument is non sequitur, how can it be inevitable yet government want to forestall the inevitability. The minister is just trying to hide under force majeure defence which can never fly. It is even infantile trying to defend herself before the allegation is even made. This madam minister should just throw in the tower and let competent people come on board. Can you imagine telling people accident is a must in nigeria airspace, this will scare off the whole world. Almost tempted to call her corn for brain.
PoliticsRe: Our Airspace Is Still Safe - Stella Oduah by SterlingTowers(m): 7:12am On Oct 08, 2013
The first poster killed it with that pithy ripartee. One thousand likes for that post but on a serious note, this minister is so arrogant and insensitive that she could not even commiserate with the family of the deceased all she could think of is her plum job which she is doing badly any way. She could just hav e delegated her press person to handle but she had to muck it up herself.
PoliticsRe: Nwabueze Quits As National Conference Row Grows by SterlingTowers(m): 6:32pm On Oct 07, 2013
fkaz: IMO, Nwabueze should not be called to be one of the advisory member being set up by GEJ. I believe Nwabueze feel their is no point because Nwabueze and his group called THE PATRIOT has already carry their own research and submit their finding to GEJ

It will be waste of time to the elderlyman if he join this group again.

http://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.punchng.com/news/drop-2015-ambition-nwabueze-urges-jonathan/&sa=U&ei=K4hSUrOvNOq30QWz9oGwBg&ved=0CBQQFjAD&usg=AFQjCNHbzl1qTR_TPgzl0rugZPNwbcoihA
Now the real reasons for developing cold feet are coming to the fore.
PoliticsRe: Nwabueze Quits As National Conference Row Grows by SterlingTowers(m): 4:16pm On Oct 07, 2013
passion007: Quit being silly!
Look at his picture, does he look young to you?
The man you're trying to ridicule apparently has an admirable health seeking behavior, unlike people like you who would give their own lives to be on that list.
Sort your thought, you are incoherent. Can't help you on that. "Admirable health seeking behaviour” what ever that is?
PoliticsRe: Nwabueze Quits As National Conference Row Grows by SterlingTowers(m): 4:10pm On Oct 07, 2013
Akainzo: That brings the question, Was Nwabueze consulted before his name was announced?

If he was consulted prior and he said yes, what now changed in his health?
If he was not consulted, why annouce an appointment where the person was not consulted if there is no ulterior motive?
I don't doubt you read the write up but what is irresistible is the fact you really don't read beyond the letters. On a scale of 1-10 you are like in sub zero, little wonder you can't relate.
PoliticsRe: Nwabueze Quits As National Conference Row Grows by SterlingTowers(m): 2:58pm On Oct 07, 2013
theoctopus: Always read before you comment. It smacks of illiteracy when you dont! Please go back and read the article again. Though I blame the mods too for also making the title look negative.
What smacks of crass ignorance is making conjectures you cannot substantiate. I will allow you to please ya self after all this is liberty hall. Is it that the old man is pulling a wool over the eyes of gullible lots like you with his silly health excuses or you are just plain obtuse. no one can pull a wool over my eyes I know Nwabueze more than you and I stand by my comment. Now scurry along in your unprofitable biz of conjectures.

PoliticsRe: Nwabueze Quits As National Conference Row Grows by SterlingTowers(m): 12:44pm On Oct 07, 2013
Nwabueze suddenly developed cold feet. Na wa o, is he not the same NWabueze that had been shouting on top of his lungs for the conference. Reminds me of a warrior that crossed dressed and left his people in the lurch. May be they breed cowards in the oriental part of NIgeria.

[quote
author=eGuerrilla]Sterling Towers, I hope you are not suggesting inculpability with
respect to the 19.5 billion shared among cronies? Or that Nigerians need
an Abati to remind them of the level of impunity which characterised
FFK's tenure across different ministries?

Source
Allegations do not convict, credible evidence must sustain such allegations before you can get a conviction. Since the prosecutor failed woefully to prove beyond every reasonable doubt and shadow of doubt that FFK is guilty of all the spurious allegations leveled against him then he is innocent. Face it dude, FFK is the new generalissmo and he has been killing with wit and pen. So stop convicting on the face of the papers and NL.
RomanceRe: Loving Someone Who Doesn't Love You Back by SterlingTowers(m): 10:00pm On Oct 06, 2013
Hope you will not keep running to NL to sustain the relationship. Now how many guys have you turned down, boldly and stylishly. What goes around comes around. Welcome to the world of those hapless guys you have messed up emotionally. Man up and take decision yourself and don't be indolent on what you presumably want that bad. One more thing I hope it is not just pure shallow infatuation.
PoliticsRe: PDP Replies Femi Fani- Kayode; You Represent The Bad, The Ugly & The Scandalous by SterlingTowers(m): 9:47pm On Oct 06, 2013
Tommyrot. FFK is really hitting people deceiving people really hard hence the desperation and gutter language of the writer. Immoralism and scandal since when did that become a crime. Diversion of nineteen billion naira, which the court has acquitted him of. I see Abati 's hand here with his dirty face hidden behind that of the writer. That guy should stop acting like a peasant they tend to be petty and vindictive.

nex: Abeg, where dem dey get this crowd from wey dey go greet dem for airport? I can't imagine the level of boredom, joblessness and stupidity that will push me to head to the airport to welcome a politician.
Nigerians have two options it is either you are for Jagaban or against him. You can't be indifferent about him. Those that are on ground to welcome him know the benefit therein.
PoliticsRe: Do You Think Stella Oduah Should Be Sacked• by SterlingTowers(m): 9:13pm On Oct 06, 2013
FreeGlobe: Nonsense, like their has not been incessant air crashes in this country prior to her being minister. Maybe you should blame FFK who recently admitted flooding the ministry with unqualified and incompetent staff from his osun state. She's trying to amend the rot in the system caused by Fani Kayode, Hyatt, Borishade, Agagu (RIP), etc. she's Nigeria's best aviation minister ever!
Can rot be amended? She can only create her own mess by getting her self entangled with purported previous rots created by her predecessors. Btw she is doing a yoeman ,s jab in mess proliferation. Any way many thanks for stating the obvious which is her pre occupation with amending rot and shirking her responsibility. If you call that competence good luck. Oduah the rot expert.
PoliticsRe: Do You Think Stella Oduah Should Be Sacked• by SterlingTowers(m): 8:59pm On Oct 06, 2013
What are the sins of Oduah? You cal what she is doing just facelift? If previous Ministers did facelifts previously, maybe some one else will have time to do something else. Beside, most of these Airlines came on board at the time of the previous administrations, and bringing in all manner of old airplanes.
Your position is flawed with the usual to que ke[what about you] posturing. If madam Oduah cannot deliver or ensure safety of lives by allowing dysfunction birds on our skyline then let her make way for competent hands. But the bulk will always stop at her table because she is in charge and FFK or any previous ministers for that matter cannot be vicariously liable for her seemingly embarrassing incompetence.
Then get to work on this thread at least. The pictures here are so not it at all. undecided
The guy has gotten h is knickers in a very bad twist. We will wait patiently for him to extricate himself.
PoliticsRe: Do You Think Stella Oduah Should Be Sacked• by SterlingTowers(m): 3:17pm On Oct 06, 2013
FreeGlobe: She's our best Aviation minister ever. She is trying her best, if fani kayode did a quarter of the things she's done today during his tenure, She would have been focusing on other things. Though some people should be sacked but she should remain there!
Excuses! excuses. May be you should just have a chat with Olu Falae or the OKusanya. you disingeniously trying to say it is Fani ' s fault. Oduah preferred facelift of our airports to lives of Nigerian, yet you have the temerity to put the blame on FFk and allow an incompetent minister to stay on board for what I might ask. You are well aware that two other planes almost crashed after the Agagu's plane crash. This nation cannot yield its increase if we tribalise every thing or allow nepotism to thrive.

bestviewer: Nwanne it is a statement of fact, my villa Uga has better living condition than most of their state capitals. Mind you my villa may not be among top 10 developed villas in Anambra. Places like Ekwuluobia, Osumenyi, Enugu-Ukwu etc are all like New York when compare to their state capitals in yeroba land.
Same new york city now I see why Anambra is the economic and infrastructural mecca to the World. Little wonder tourists and investors have been rushing down. Numerous NEw york cities in the east.! Lmao.
PoliticsRe: Awka: Anambra's Capital by SterlingTowers(m): 2:50pm On Oct 06, 2013
bestviewer: If you want to see under development, poverty, mud houses, rusted zinc etc it is in your backyard there in yerobaland. I will restate it, Awka has some of the best architectures, hospitality industry around. Even ordinary Udoka and Abuja estates here can compete favorably well with some estates in VI and Ikoyi. NL people in Awka can confirm what am saying..
I hear after all na una get all the buildings in VI and IKoyi. Rumour even has it that MIke Adenuga actually rented MIke Adenuga ' s tower from an ibo landlord.
PoliticsRe: Awka: Anambra's Capital by SterlingTowers(m): 2:47pm On Oct 06, 2013
Op keeping fooling yourself and other gullible ilks like yourself. You had pictures of newly built houses in awka as awka. I have noticed a similar trend on nairaland peep will post few pictures of fairly new houses and trump it up as the whole of the town or state. Awka is the finest place on earth satisfied? Airhead!
PoliticsRe: Bola Ahmed Tinubu Arrives In Lagos by SterlingTowers(m): 1:50pm On Oct 06, 2013
Afam4eva: At least he should bend down small as a leader that he is. is this how he wants APC to rule Nigeria? Pls, let's tell ourselves the truth. I'm even surprised at the color of lace he wore. That's the height of disrespect to the ordinary Nigerian.
Nitpicking and pettiness has calcified your thought pattern my dear afam. Why are you getting ahead of yourself TInubu is not there in the capacity of the president of Nigeria and certainly not the national leader of APC but as TInubu, a man just recuperating from surgery. This is an all time low making allusion to the colour of his lace. Would you have preferred him putting on white and green, how low can that be. Please don't let me quit on you afam, I believe you are still redeemable.

I find it unfair and felt gagged when my harmless, objective and civil comment was hidden by one of mods at the politics session. Like the only mod commenting on the topic "The truth about the yoruba" is aversed to having his comments subjected to rebuttal. I could not even comment on the thread again and Afam lost the opportunity for me to cure him of his crass ignorance on the Yoruba, his loss anyway. Gagging people will ground this lovely site. Mods tread lightly. Un-hide my comments if you guys don't have an axe to grind with me.
