EducationNigerian Universities That Do Not Require JAMB Or POST UME? by sternosa(op): 12:56pm On Aug 03, 2015
In reference to an older thread and out of curiosity, are there Nigerian Universities that don't require neither JAMB nor POST UME for admittance? With the exception of NOUN of course. If no, are there Universities that accept low JAMB score without a written POST UME being a requirement? (Asking on my girlfriend's behalf).

Have NOUN students been given the opportunity to complete their NYSC Service? Remember, without an NYSC Cert, It's almost impossible to get a well paying job.

EducationIs It Possible To Transfer Into A US/UK Uni? by sternosa(op): 1:48pm On Jul 23, 2015
Hello, I'm currently studying Economics in a private University in Nigeria and I'm about to enter my third year. However, I'm considering applying (transferring) to either a US or UK University to acquire my Bachelor's without having to start all over from scratch. Are there US/UK Unis one is aware of that'll allow my credits to be transferred? Nairaland is often referred to as the site with answer hence my asking this question. An answer ASAP will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello all. I've gone through daad.de and I think I've seen the school I'm applying to but I do have one question; Is there a specific state or place on Germany that has a huge number of English speakers? I don't want to struggle with excessive language barrier. Please and thanks.

EducationIs A Bachelor's Degree Still Relevant After by sternosa(op): 3:01am On Jun 24, 2015
Is a Bachelor's degree still relevant after acquiring a Master's from a developed country or prestigious University?

Would applying for jobs in developed countries be ruined by the fact that the bachelor's was acquired in Nigeria despite the Master's being from a developed country? This is a question everyone is probably curious to know. Please contribute positively to this thread, thanks.

Hello all. My question I'm about to ask is a little different from Visa requirement and I hope y'all can help me.

I'm currently studying Economics in a private university in Nigeria and I'm considering transferring to a reputable (affordable) US university. I'm considering either transferring from my third or last year. An added advantage is that I'm an American Citizen. My question is what schools would y'all suggest that I apply to?

Please and thanks.

EDIT: Or the ones that'll allow me transfer.
EducationEasiest Nigerian Universities To Get Into? by sternosa(op): 1:03am On Jun 18, 2015
This thread is solely constructed to help aspiring university students secure admission into reputable State and Federal universities in this country. What Universities in your opinion (or according to your own personal research) would you say is easier to enter than the likes of UNILAG, UNIBEN, UI, etc?

- NOUN (Easiest)
- UNICAL (Not too certain. Can someone help confirm this)
- Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun state (State Uni)

Which others will you add to the list? And please give concrete reasons why they were added.
