PoliticsRe: Rhodes-Vivour, Labour Party Governorship Candidate Campaigns At Lagos Markets by Stevebuffet: 10:14pm On Mar 06, 2023
I can now understand the absurd propaganda against Gabdebo-Rhodes Vivor. Simply put, this guy is too sound. We require leaders of this kind who aren't afraid to defy convention and try something new. Listen to how he's laying out his strategy for the new Lagos.

You just don't want a nice Lagos if you listen to this guy and don't appreciate how well-spoken and transparent his ideas for Lagos are.

It's about time, in my opinion, that the unbiased minds in these forum had access to some of gbadebo's interviews and heard him explain his vision for a new Lagos. You may not like him or his personality, but you should still watch all of these videos. Better yet, you can search for him on YouTube and listen to how he outlines his plans for the New Lagos.

PoliticsMy Take On The Obidience Movement And The Way Forward by Stevebuffet(op): 11:42pm On Mar 04, 2023
My goal in writing this is to discuss the current developments in the Obidient movement because some scrupulous political figures are attempting to tribalize it for their own personal gain. This is not good at all.

The Obidient movement is a mastermind of people who are sick of the evil government and how they have pillaged our resources for decades. It is a secular movement free of political and religious ideologies. Any attempt to undermine this movement will fail because it transcends any one individual, tribe, or religion.

In a similar vein, I refrained from voting in the previous election due to my political beliefs, but after seeing what these political actors are up to, I vow to get out and support the Libertarian Party on Saturday of next week.

A man named Gbadebo Rhodes Vivor was the target of widespread misinformation because he dared to dream. He has been referred to as a stranger merely because he dared to question the established status quo and offer everyone a well-refined Lagos, similar to the Lagos that Chief. Lateef Jakande built. Not this over-the-top Lagos. without agberoism, flooding, unrest, or traffic congestion. I think we can all agree that Agbero in Lagos is a menace.

I was on the fence about voting on Saturday, but after seeing the campaign of defamation against him, I decided to do some study and discovered that the candidate had a sharp mind with detailed strategies for the state of Lagos. Now is the moment for Lagos residents to get up and cast their votes for a capable young person. A young man who has traveled the globe wanted to return and implement what he has observed in other nations. The youth must now assume their proper position. Instead than just some old people repeating themselves, we need visionary leaders.

What exactly does the blue rail stand for? What advantages does it currently offer the average person? Can you utilize it? Tokenized projects are being carried out by the government for use in election campaigns. Why would a government launch a project just before elections? a government without compassion. What about the Lekki-Epe Airport. Every single election year, that’s when you hear about the 4th mainland bridge. Nothing! Just tokenism!

What was the government's response to the End SARS movement, which cost the lives of young Nigerians who were agitating for better conditions in their country?

What has the government's approach against traffic robbers been thus far? Nothing!

What about omonile and agberoism? Nothing.

Our administration is incompetent, and some individuals claim that one good deed deserves another, but for what exactly?

I only observe citizens who reinforce failure in Nigeria because they fail to raise the required issues. Why would a responsible government avoid debates?

Is that the same as skipping a job interview and expecting to get hired just because you have a cousin working there? That doesn't work!

This is what needs to change if we are to create a new Nigeria. In all respects, we must hold our government accountable. They must sit up straight. We frequently contrast ourselves with the Western world, but the truth is that their leaders are very similar to ours the only difference is that their people hold them accountable.

Because he violated the Covid 19 rules, the former prime minister of the UK was given the choice to resign or be impeached in disgrace. However, politicians in Nigeria violate the rules more frequently, and we laugh about it. They won't sit up until we, the Nigerian people, have the power to hold every public servant responsible for even the smallest offense, and we won't see the transformation we want. While corruption does exist in the west, it is also held accountable by the people there.

It is now that we must remodel our minds in order to create a New Nigeria.

The FUTURE CITY is a project by Landwey Investment limited, Africa’s leading Real Estate company.

The vision of this project is articulated on two scales, Green and Technology.

All parks and infrastructure in the Future city are intended to allow water to seep through the earth and replenish the water table. These "sponge city" methods are already being tested in Shanghai.

Green roofs: Solar panels and roof gardens would be above buildings, promoting sustainable energy .

Rainwater purification: Instead of gutters, bioswales (absorbent rain gardens) and pools would collect and filter water for reuse.

Social transit: Regional high-speed rail stations would develop into hubs of commercial and social activity.

Smart buildings: The Buildings will incorporate natural elements and will be largely modular, leading to faster production with less waste. Spaces can quickly transform to meet changing housing, industrial or business needs.

Solar walls and windows: There will be Solar panels incorporated into all surfaces of the building’s facade during construction to harvest solar energy.

Green streets: The streetscape would include native vegetation, environmental monitoring, and water filtration.

Recycling and reuse: Used items—those that aren’t already biodegradable, would be easily reused or recycled.

Clean energy: Smaller, more affordable, and bladeless wind turbines would be mounted on building rooftops to supplement existing power sources.

Drone commuting : Remotely programmed
drones large and powerful enough to transport people within the city.

Underground farming: Farm Produce will be grown in soil-free hydroponic farms using high-efficiency methods underneath.

Demigod22:
I have seen people close to me experience love, I have seen people building something special out of love, I have experienced genuine and selfless love too, people are finding healthy love.

I won't say love is a dream or doesn't exist, it's just unfortunate that people abuse love.

When some of my friends tell me about their family, how they don't help each other, they don't believe in love. But I was brought up in a family that value love and spread love. My friends won't believe in family love, but from my experience, I definitely believe.

Some people grew up in a toxic and unfortunate situation, when such people meet you, they see you as asset to be used, that's where the hurt comes from.
Romantic love is self created. It’s an illusion.

Love is a complicated paradox people(woomen and co.) use to manipulate one another, love is not real but based on interests which if not satisfied fades away like the clouds in noonday. We all have to wake up and break the shackles of bondage exploitation and manipulation called love becuz it is a stupid emotion. Like seriously why do people fall in love only to get their hearts broken, that's just fvking absurd guys undecided.
Love is an illusion, it’s a figment of man’s imagination.
