I have no qualms with an interim government but who has a say in choosing it members ? An interim govt, constituted and tele-guided by PDP is not an option. An effective interim government would comprise patriotic, non-corrupt and politically neutral Nigerians Like.. Pat Utomi Christopher Kolade Oby Ezekwesili (?) etc |

The military (PDP backed) have already taken over on saturday. If you want another group to take over from these ones, it would amount to war. |

Pato5: He can't perform magic bro. it's a gradual process that may not yield immediate result. we will appreciate in the long run But my good man, GEJ has already performed so much magic with the commonwealth of Nigeria I think he should take a bow. Do you want figures in the shift of these indices ECA, Foreign reserves, NGN/USD on the parallel market etc ? Let's face it, GEJ hasn't been sincere with Nigerians and now with the latest move, he's lost all credibility as an incumbent who can return to power by popular demand and popular demand only. Can he really return to aso rock without "additional help" ? Be sincere. |
Politics › Re: Why GEJ Has To Continue by stevecantrell: 6:21pm On Feb 10, 2015 |
Pato5: Jonathan wants to develop Nigeria. Every sincere Nigerian can attest to that. Buhari wants to fight corruption( this is the pinnacle of his campaign). Very easy to settle. Let Jonathan continue as president, Buhari will be appointed the chairman of EFCC. with buhari's acclaimed record of anti corruption lord, he will punish corrupt politicians severely. Case closed. I'm not convinced, let him re-develop our plundered foreign reserves, our moribund currency and non existent ECA first. Or do you prefer he puts the country deeper in debt to 'develop' it ? Stop kidding yourself ! |

My pastor friend tells me when God wants to punish a nation He does these;
-Send them a strong delusion
-Give them inability to choose a good leader
-Harden their hearts for more punishment
I think my friend is really right on the money. |

Adminisher: Tribalism has killed you. Jonathan's is the worst government in history. At 220 to the dollar you will soon lose your job, if you are a business man they have wrecked your business. There is also $69bn debt on the head of your children. Last month PDP government wasted $1bn of foreign exchange to bring in Rice from Thailand for elections. Imported rice is now N8000 cheaper than local rice so all rice farmers and rice mills established with billions are grinding to a halt. This govt was stealing 400000barrels of oil a day in dollars and the western world knows where they have hidden the money.
Why I am happy that you are using yoir mouth to say that Jonathan is the best option is that in the remote possibility that he stays in government, he will actually ruin you and your family and still you will blame it on northern elders, islam, boko haram, tinubu, amaechi, buhari, northern youths, America, Europe, the west and every other thing under the sun and you will still believe it because some people must eat other people to thrive and you including your family are FOOD for those people.. You see.... Some people.... Got Nothing To Lose. |

SeverusSnape: We ain't blind. We just don't see a better option. GeJ is still the best option for Nigeria. That is still an irresponsible cop-out. If Nigerians can flush out bad leadership, it sends a strong message to any in-coming new govt. When we give this type of administration the feeling they have a birth right to 2 terms despite a shambolic performance, other will also do the same. If elections hold tomorrow, Nigerians should make a protest at the ballot and vote out this lying government. This is not because we love Buhari but because we love our country more. |
