Some of us don't like Mr. Peter Obi .. Our phobia is the level of transparency he is bringing on board.. we were not trained like that..
But no matter how you express your beef and anger against him there are facts you cannot change which include;

1. He ran the most secured state in Nigeria during his tenure. Former IGP Abubarkar gave him 5 years accollades of the most secured state back to back for 5 years.

2. The minister of works then gave him the best accolade of a governor that built 800km of road network in 8years

3. Educationally, He met Anambra at 26th position in 2006 and left it at 1st by 2014 when he was leaving.

4. He was the only governor that met the millennium development goal in Nigeria in both education and health. In fact , Milinda & bill gate foundation gave him a personal gift of 1 million dollars for his achievements. Which he dropped in the state account rather than putting in his own private account.

5. He is the only former governor today that does not collect pension, gratuity, land gift and allowances since he left the govt in 2014.

6. When he became SEC chairman under President GE Jonathan, he told SEC to hold back all his allowance and entitlement as a Board chairman. He left without nothing. He said he does not need them.

When he was chairman of fidelity bankplc , he was entitled to two brand new cars annually. He told the board I don't need them, let me just come for meetings and go home

You can only be angry with him. You cannot change the facts....so choose between moving forward & going backwards....If you can outline these facts for any other candidate, I will withdraw my support for Peter Obi today

‘Nollywood actor’: I’ll develop entertainment industry, Obi replies El-Rufai

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has reacted to the statement by the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, that he (Obi) was acting Nollywood and could not win the presidential election.

Replying, the former Anambra State Governor said he would rather work hard to improve the entertainment industry.

Obi gave the reply on Sunday when he appeared on Arise Television’s ‘Sunday Show’ programme.

El-Rufai had while featuring on a TVC programme last week dismissed Obi’s chances in the forthcoming presidential election.

The Kaduna governor said, “He is polling in the Christian enclaves in the North but how many are they? Peter Obi cannot win the election. He doesn’t have the number of states, he doesn’t have 25 per cent in more 16 states, the last time we checked. He can’t go anywhere.

“Peter Obi is a Nollywood actor and that’s all he will be. This election is between the APC and the PDP because they have the footprint, they have the spread. Ethnicity and religious bigotry will not take you anywhere and that’s what the Labour Party campaign is all about,” he said.

However, Obi said he would focus on the Nollywood if elected president, calling on Nigerian actors to support him since El-Rufai had tagged him as one.

He said, “I thank El-Rufai for what he said, at least he gave me some percentages; I’ll work hard to improve on that. The entertainment industry is one of the engines that will develop us as a nation, I’ll focus on that and the Nollywood.

“And since he said I’m an actor, I’m calling on all those in the entertainment industry, including the Nollywood, to support me.”
