My UBA has now gained by 38%.. my plan was to buy and hold for a long time but this return is quite tempting..

It is that right stock at the right time yen gan that is the reason. Since there's no exact science to it, you could be wrong and if you're wrong, your money go do you Willie Willie. Here now and then no more.

I think the only science there is to stock trading is it fundamentals and key metrics. as long as a stock has reasonable profit margin and sells below it's book value, I always wait for them in their 52weeks low

NB: Am not saying this from a professional point of view so I stand corrected.

the UBN shares I bought yesterday has generated over 8% return within 24hrs.. experts in the house, what's the rationale behind why people buy bonds and treasury bill when the right stock at the right time can generate greater ROI?

i need help experts in the house..
am a new shareholder. i bought some UBA shares on the 16th of august 2020 of which i believe am entitled to the last interim dividend paid on the 23rd of sept. 2020. unfortunately av not received any alert till date. I wrote a mail to afriprudential registrars and they claimed to have paid the dividend to my mandated access bank account. am very confused and scared at thesame time.

pls what do i do?

We have two companies on Nigeria Stock Exchange, that have Dividend Reinvestment Programme.

The companies are Nigeria Brewery and Stanbic IBTC.

The best bet is to get your dividends and you the proceeds to buy additional shares of MTN

Secondly, I noticed MTN is not listed on United registrar's e-dividend form. My confusion is how do I go about filling the form without MTN on the list? Or there something I should know?

i reside in Lagos Nigeria, a graduate with no job. i had to swallow my pride and start driving keke maruwa. it was difficult at first but recently, God smiled on the terminal where i work as we can now have a daily take home of 10k everyday after expenses.

This has made me to have a rethink about looking for a job as most white collar jobs can not pay up to 200k monthly (which i make easily now after all expenses). i don't plan to drive keke forever, But am little confused what, where and how to start.
