An improved result in my layman's understanding.
Q3 EPS dropped to (0.06), no small thanks to income tax which took away more than 60% of the coy profit, they ought to have returned to profitability by now.
This regime is not fair to that Sector at all but the regime wouldn't be there forever.
This stock should still be on a radar of any investor with cap appreciation in mind. Still a promising stock.
This is Mcy's view on this stock. smiley

Pls this is not necessary. ...it smacks off redicle.
The bros u talk about has always been a very valuable member of this forum.
And why question whether he is partaking of it?

I've observed that u have often picked on him.
...Pls leave him alone. He has his ways around the market, which u may not understand.
He makes great returns too.

UACN has released its Q3 financial print showing a great improvement both QoQ and YoY.
Surprisingly, or should we rather say unsurprisingly, no one seems to be talking about it or even posted it here.
wink cheesy grin

Run down:

>> EBITDA MARGIN grew from a negative N10.2B to a positive N1.9B YoY...with near 40% of that figure booked in just the last 3 months/july-sep 2020(@ circa 743.7M) up from an approx negative N12.9B in the comparable period of last yr.

>> Current asset ran at a faster pace than total liability, with the former already at a premium to the latter, showing the groups strong liquidity posture and value accretive stance.(NWC and EM effect in view)

>> Lower EFIR given Zero LTDP, with short-term obligation decelerating by over 3,900bps from approx N4.60B to N2.77B(CLCR in view)

>> Higher cash position with a further improvement to the groups CGPR.

>> Fantastic AER as OCF grew exponentially from a negative approx N9.2B to a positive N4.7B

Using a mix of valuation model which seeks a conservative approach to reward but attaches a higher premium to risk, UACN should have no business trading for less than N14.40.

It is well.

On ARDOVA(formerly FO), I believe it will pay to hold on a bit more.
Last earnings guidance saw an improvement in a few key lines. ...and on that note, reward is now slightly ahead of risk given the coys current mkt price.(MoS adjusted RR in view)
Perhaps, u might be able to cut down on ur loses with a little more patience.

I wish u Good luck !!

I know this is d wrong section to post this but posting it in d betting section would be mostly useless giving that most people there have no formal sense of probabilities or expected value.

It is a simple betting strategy that may hold value going forward. It is based on the correct score prediction of the football market.

Methodology:
I collected daily data from Forebet, a site that predicts football outcomes with statistical and machine learning calculations, and ran a simple analysis. I found out that leagues with at least 5 winnings and 17% win rate in the correct score category hold an edge going forwards.

Started sep 24th and these are my stats:
win = 46
loss = 189
total games = 235
percent win = 20%
odds = 10 (meaning that every time I win I get 10 or more times my initial)stake, if i lose i forfeit my stake )
Stake per game = 1000 naira.

return so far = 271000 naira (The correct value should be about 80% this number since i should start playing once the logic above (5 win and 17% win rate) is established)

There are some doubts sha, the following biases may be at play Confirmation bias, Hindsight bias and limited games at 235. I will probably need to find p-value.

I attached an equity curve describing d return distribution for the 235 games, looks beautiful though. grin grin grin

This is a nice idea, have you practice on real investment?
I'll try to study this too, though there is time constraint.
