pendy79: I wish to appreciate the Chadian forces for the help and assistance they have rendered in turning around the scourge of the MYTHICAL boko haram that the inefficient and corrupt leadership both Political and Military made us believe were ghosts that can't be curtailed for 5years running.
I pray Idris Derby does not start growing ideas about keeping those regained territories under Chadian flag and diplomatically returned them to Nigerian control after the end of the insurgency. Nigeria can't afford to go to war with Chad or any neighbour at the moment.
#NEVERAGAIN will Nigeria delegates its' internal problem to a neighbour to come help quell #NEVERAGAIN will our military be made sacrificial lambs for the political ambition of any person.
Nigeria shall be GREAT again
I believe in CHANGE and I believe in BUHARI/OSINBAJO to drive that change.
#ihavedecided YES NEVER AGAIN, what a shame. |

If you didn't stay in hostel you actually missed: 1. Different talented fellow brought together, that way you share ideas. 2. The fees is little to nothing compare to offk where you will pay for everything. 3. The security in the hostel is high compare to offk, when those "men" starts you see them offk pals sleeping in class or begging to squat in the hostel. 4. You are forced to go to class to read when the room is empty. 5. Staying in the hostel is fun 247 with adequate security. 6. You never go hungry, cos somebody is cooking oversyllabus or does not know how to cook or he or she is just a father or mother christmas if you know what I meant. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigeria And Coded Employment Recruitment. by Stevosty: 2:40pm On Jan 04, 2015 |
ATOB: A friend of mine who works with PENCOM shared the below with me. Read... It is an eye opener.
In 2012 I think, PENCOM asked for qualified people (Graduates and Experienced folks) to submit their handwritten application at their Abuja office and a lot of people sent in their application.
I was told it became a problem for them at work because these applications were occupying space that they had to create a room for it. He claimed that after several weeks of submission without a single processing, the director just walked in one morning and asked them to burn everything.
I asked him how people were then selected if they burnt everything. "Was there an online application?" I chirped. He scorned and was surprised at the ignorant question I had asked him. I was disappointed in myself as a Nigerian because I already knew what he meant was that the positions had been occupied even before the vacancies were rolled out.
He further educated me that there are countless directors all over the country who had personal assistants and secretaries of parastatals who had concubines who had a graduate in their family or a wife or a cousin who needed job DESPERATELY. He told me that in all these departments we have HODs, Auditors, Supervisors and Senior civil servants who had a neighbor and a friend who has someone who needed a job. Remember this is in-house cabals.
Looking at it from the macro level, we have governors, LG chairmen, Reps (Federal and State), business men, god-fathers, family members, Senators, High caliber people who would nominate someone who knows someone who knows someone who needed a job.
Dont also forget that it is also customary to give slots to some of these people and what this implies is that at the end of the day, the available positions are consequently not even enough amongst themselves. THAT IS THE SITUATION.
Only a negligible few get these jobs through merit and grace.
The problems are: Corruption Nepotism Favoritism Greed and Lack of empathy by our so called recycled leaders.
That is why it is paramount that in the coming weeks we make the best decision for our future and children future through our votes. you just nailed it. |

Naija people deserve a graduate as well, that's why oyinbo people think I am mumu. exactly, because how has all the degrees holders we have in government affected the situation in Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: Does Buhari Have A University Degree? by Stevosty: 5:08pm On Dec 20, 2014 |
I never saw anywhere in the constitution that you have be a degree holder to be a president, and don't forget he was a minister of petroleum and 1 kobo was not missing aside been a ex-president and ptf chairman. How many degrees holders do we have in government today and why many degrees holders are jobless? All we need is honesty and competency in governance not highest certificates that have been killing the present and future of this country. |
