Most of the owners of houses demolished along akute/alagbole/berger have not been paid compensation too. The state health service lacks so many stuffs too. The masses are suffering, yet the deputy is complaining about cars and allowances.
This is really terrible, government functionaries allocating and sharing money to themselves during festive celebrations. Tax payers money that is. wat r u saying? All d deputy governor demands r his constitutional right, is he nt entitle to light and cars or his entitlements? |

Gbolask24: Alhaji Kassimu Umar, a Lecturer at the Taraba College of Education Zing, was on Friday burnt to death by an Angry mob after he allegedly hit and killed five primary school pupils with a vehicle he was driving.
Mr Joseph Kwaji, the Police Public Relations officer (PPRO), of the Taraba Police Command confirmed the incident in Jalingo.
He said that the mob forcefully removed Umar from the Pupule Police Outpost, where he went to report the incident, and the mob burnt him to death.
"In the early hours of today, one Kassimu Umar, who is believed to be a lecturer with COE, Zing had knocked down five primary school pupils in Zing, who all died on the spot. "After he reported the incident to the Pupule Police Outstation, irate youths in their hundreds, stormed the station, dragged him out and lynched him. "Our investigation revealed that the lecturer was trying to dodge a trailer, when he ran over the pupils whose ages ranged between eight and 11 years," he said.

Havilah93: The super eagles will look to get all 3 points under difficult conditions in omdurman, Sudan. It's the 2nd round of qualifiers for Morocco 2015
The Eagles will be without Stoke City forward Victor Moses, who has suffered a recurrence of a thigh problem at his English Premier League club, and Ukraine-based winger Babatunde Michael, who is nursing a knee injury.
Questions rather than praise have greeted Keshi’s invitation for several uncapped players including China- based striker Aaron Samuel and Reading midfielder Hope Akpan.
However, skipper Vincent Enyeama has rejoined the squad after he stayed away to attend to what team officials said were “pressing personal problems”.
Star-studded Nigeria will also have to cope with boiling temperatures and a late switch for the game to be played on an artificial pitch in Sudan. “Personally, I prefer playing on a natural grass pitch, but we just have to adjust, be smarter and work on our timing when we play on astro turf and we will be okay,” said
Monaco defender Elderson Echiejile, who will be visiting Sudan for the first time. “And as for the weather, we are first and foremost Nigerians and born in Africa and so we should also be able to cope on the day.”
Middlesbrough defender Kenneth Omeruo said there will be no margin for error against Sudan in both games "We are aware of the task ahead and so we have resolved to work hard to pick the available 12 points in our remaining qualifiers,” said Omeruo
"The response of the players from the first day of training speaks loud of our intention ahead of the games. All we ask of Nigerians is their support. “We also know there are no minnows anymore in African football."
Both countries have clashed 11 times and Nigeria have won six of these meetings, drawn four times and lost once to the Sudanese.
The only Nigeria loss to Sudan was in was in 1963, when they fell 4-0 in a 1964 Nations Cup qualifier, while the last meeting was in a friendly in 2008 which Nigeria won 2-0.
Nigeria ran away 4-0 winners on their last visit to Sudan in a 2002 World Cup qualifier 13 years ago with Yakubu Aiyegbeni grabbing a brace pls wat time is d match? Naija time. Pls |

Romance › Re: Weird Things Girls Do When Guys Aren't Around. by stexsy(m): 12:17pm On Sep 24, 2014 |
ideee03: So i saw this article somewere and decided to share...
Don't Shave Women are like one big giant mystery to men and I'm about to let you in on some of that mystery! Here are some of the strange things that women get up to when men aren't around.
I swear it seems like guys think all women should be completely hairless (except their heads) at all times. But what you guys may not be aware of is that when it is the middle of winter and we can wear long pants and we don't have a boyfriend, we often go days if not weeks without shaving our legs!
Check Out Other Girls When girls get together, we often spend a lot of time checking out the relative hotness of the other girls around us. And no, before you get too excited, it doesn't mean that we are all secretly lesbians or bisexual and we want to get with them. Sometimes it is to check out what other girls are wearing or how they are doing their hair so we can get tips, but mostly it is to make sure no one else is hotter than us! And if they are, we will find something to gripe about her to our friends!
No Bra Slide I'm not sure if you guys are fully aware of exactly how uncomfortable wearing a bra is. Imagine if you had to wear a jock strap every time you left the house! That's why most of the time when we girls get inside and we are alone, the first thing we do is take that uncomfortable thing off!
Eat I mean, I know that you guys know that we eat but a lot of times in front of a guy a girl will just order a salad or pick at her food. But don't be mistaken, most girls know how to put away some food when they are alone! This is often something we don't even do in front of other girls, but believe me, we are just as capable as you of eating a whole bag of Doritos or cookies, especially if it's close to "that" time of the month.
Tell Our Best Friend Women usually have a lot of friends, but we generally have one best friend that has been around through everything and will be there until the end, long after you are probably gone and out of our lives. We know this. That is why we tell our best friends everything. Yes, that. And that, too. Basically, if you don't want her best friend knowing about it, don't tell your girlfriend about it. And don't get mad at your girlfriend about this. It is an unspoken BFF code and there is nothing you can do to change i
Fantasize Women fantasize too, though it's probably a lot different than what men fantasize about. Don't get me wrong, women can fantasize about sex sometimes, but mostly we fantasize about what it will be like when a boy asks us out and what the date will be like. We will overanalyze and plan for every contingency way before it even happens. We'll also often fantasize about what it will be like to be married to him or have his babies, sometimes before the first date
Googled Your Exes Women are infamous for Googling a current boyfriend's exes. You have to check out the competition, right? But it often doesn't stop there, especially if more than one girl gets in on the covert ops. They can start Googling boys they like, boys they are dating, exes to see who they are dating now. We've gotten so good at tracking people down, we are practically qualified to work for the CIA!
Readjust Let's face it, women's underwear and bras suck. When no one is looking women often have to sneak a moment to adjust things so they are back where they should be again. This can even go as far as sticking our hands down our shirt and picking till it's back in place.
Pee With the Door Open If it's just all girls around, we'll often just go pee with the door open. We don't want to miss any of the conversation or the end of our favorite reality TV show!
Pee on the Seat Men have a pretty bad reputation for being messy in the bathroom. But have you ever noticed that some horrifying things happen in women's restrooms, too? It's appalling how disgusting some women can be. We're supposed to be the cleaner sex, right? A lady should respect her surroundings and always clean up after herself!
That means:
-Don't splatter your explosive diarrhea all over the bathroom walls. -Flush the toilet when you're done. You're not five. -Don't dribble pee on the toilet seat. -Put your used pads and tampons where they belong. Hint: it's not on the floor. -Don't draw or carve things on the stall.
It's just not right. Get it together, ladies

Politics › Re: I Would‘ve Fired Diezani If I Were President – Atiku by stexsy(m): 9:45am On Sep 24, 2014 |
msmon: By Temidayo Akinsuyi Snr. Correspondent, Lagos
Former Vice President and presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar, has bemoaned the high level of impunity currently going on in government circles, especially at the federal level, saying something urgent must be done to address the anomaly. Speaking in a chat with newsmen in Lagos, Abubakar particularly took a swipe at Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke, who, Abubakar said, has failed to honour several invitations by the National Assembly. He said he would have fired the minister if he were the President of the country. The former vice president also urged the media to maximise their influence as the fourth estate of the realm to check the excesses and impunity in government circles. “In my life in this country, I have never seen the level of impunity go as high as we have today. Like I said last night, if I were a president and the National Assembly summons a minister for investigation, that minister will feel reluctant to honour the invitation, I will fire the minister because constitutionally, the National Assembly has the responsibility of checks and balances. “In my view, in the United States, imagine Congress calling one Secretary of a Department to come, if he fails to come, they will not even appropriate money for your department and there is nothing the President can do. “That is not what we see in this country. And I believe that working together with the media, both of us can check that impunity,” he said.
dailyindependentnig.com/2014/09/wouldve-fired-diezani-president-atiku/ ....and you are not the president. Corrupt nigerian leaders always turning saint immedeately d leave govt. Now Atiku of all people crying against corruption. Naija i hail thee... |
