PoliticsRe: Goodluck Jonathan And Diezani Alison-Madueke Having An Affair? by stnonymus(m): 3:33pm On Apr 30, 2012
I don't believe this for one second. Nobody can convince me that D.A.M. has intimate relations with G.E.J. This is just a set up to make this woman look bad. I am not her fan but this nothing but mudslinging. Those crooks at that NNPC want her out of the place so they can carry on with their dirty deals.
It's really wicked to make her look like a slut just to get her out of office. Even if it were true that she is that Kind of woman, nor be G.E.J. she go fall for abeg. The lady has too much class.
HealthRe: How Do We Correct Weak Memory by stnonymus(m): 9:22am On Apr 24, 2012
Let me share a few tips that helped me:

Mental effort: By this I mean don't let yourself off the hook when you don't remember.Force yourself to remember. Even if you still can't recall anything it will help your mental muscles stronger and help you recall things faster later on. Each effort is not wasted.I surprised myself when finally started remembering things after many trials and seemingly wasted efforts. It may be tough on your bran but do it and you will soon reap the rewards!

Sleeping enough: There's not much you can do with a tired brain; it can't recall a thing. It makes no sense reading all night till the morning of your exams and expecting to recall anything. The brain cannot function properly under fatigue.

Do regular exercises: Exercises increase blood circulation and blood flow and oxygen to the brain which is responsible mental alertness and memory functions. If you don't exercise regularly, you will continue to experience mental dullness and poor memory.

Eat healthy: The importance of proper dieting cannot be overemphasised. There are certain essential nutrients that brain must get from food or else it wont be able to function well. An absence of these nutrients will lead to dementia, depression, mental dullness and poor memory. You need nutrients like Omega 3 fatty acids (fish, vegetables and nuts), vitamin B (Banana , etc).Other nutrients gingko bilboa, ginger and ginseng are also helpful for recall.

Finally drink lots of water and limit your exposure to toxins exposure from smoke, chemicals pollutants, soft drinks and canned foods; they damage brain cells and limit brain functions.
HealthRe: Help Severe Mood Swings by stnonymus(m): 8:30am On Apr 24, 2012
pc guru: Hi all, i'm not the type that confides personally with people, so i decided to that here, since the chances of meeting people here is rare , first of all i have been having this serious mood swings since JSS3, at first back then i assumed it was just the normal feeling maybe due to anxiety or normal teenage complex we all face especially, am 26 now i think its gotten to a terrible state let me illustrate, i could be at work doing my job then for no reason i get extremely anger/sad, often i just get paranoid and assume people are discussing my matter. i used to have friends but i don't think i have much cause at some point in time i occasionally lashed out at them. have confided with some few people because i have this nature of not really sharing personal feelings to people, somehow some of them think maybe its triggered by depression, or past relationships(not that i have had much). the only fix for now that sorta keeps me stable is my dependency on Cigarettes and alcohol. the reason am saying out is because i somehow feel i cannot go on like this, i would like some opinion from someone who has had similar issues like i do. i really appreciate it, its so terrible that behind my smile is a sad face. thank you
I know exactly how you feel. I've been a victim of depression and unstable moods for years.I didn't even notice that had mood swings for years or maybe I did but didn't know that was what it was.I've even been tempted to entertain suicidal thoughts on a few occasions. I've even felt depressed for no apparent reason.

What you are feeling is not unique to you. Lot's of people experience this condition. It's called Clinical Depression. It is often caused by chemical imbalances in the brain or hormonal imbalance. It can also be caused by psychological traumas in your past. Mine was often triggered by malaria symptoms or an embarrassing experience.

Proper diet, excessive and rest are great antidotes for depression. Talking regularly with an experienced counselor can help you come out the challenge.

This blog post says some interesting things about depression and remedy: http://upwardliving./2012/02/26/depression-causes-and-nutritional-remedies/
BusinessRe: Google Trader Nigeria To Compete With Dealfish, Tradestable, Nairalist by stnonymus(m): 4:42pm On Apr 14, 2012
I use both classified ad sites. Dealfish still gets me more leads. Funny enough, my googletrader ads are not as visible as my dealfish ads. I don't think googletrader will steal the market from dealfish. I think it will be an equal share.

CareerRe: Self-Employment vs Oil Company Job: Which is Better? by stnonymus(m): 5:03pm On Apr 06, 2012
Self-employment is always better in the long run but verrrrry tough at the beginning. Employment is always better in the short term. But you have have the best of both worlds. Get a job and start something on the side and let it develop to the point that it will make sense to go into self employment fulltime.
HealthRe: Can I Quit Smoking Without Drugs Or Medication? by stnonymus(m): 12:55pm On Apr 06, 2012
Addictions are problems of the mind. The drugs may be able to manipulate the brain for a while but it's not sustainable. You just have to learn to reprogram your mind and get a compelling reason for quitting; WHY do you need to stop smoking?

There's a guy who's an expert in this matter. He has written a book on the subject. His name is Roy Masters. I think his book will help : http://www.fhu2.org/7516a.html

I wont recommend herbs to boil. I'll rather recommend Something that is well processed and guaranteed to work. There are a set of herbal and nutritional products from South Africa that have quite some impressive results with Staph infections. Really impressive testimonials from satisfied customers. Foreign AffairsRe: Us Senate Okays Soldiers To Be Intimate With Horses! by stnonymus(m): 10:19am On Dec 11, 2011
This world is coming to an end. It's just a matter of time before the whole world goes gaga! Why America never quits experimenting on madness is what is hard to comprehend. Bible prophecies are falling into place. Do you need any other proof?
Christianity EtcThe Christian Ventriloquist by stnonymus(op): 12:41pm On Nov 27, 2011
As I was brooding over this blog topic, an old TV show I watched as a kid flashed through my mind. I don’t recall the title but if you are about my age, you probably watched it too when you were in your preteens. It was a show that featured a ventriloquist having conversations with his dummy cat. I thought the performance was ingenious; watching the ventriloquist cast his voice and make it sound like it came from the dummy cat. It was a very convincing performance for a child my age back then. It was only years later, when I read one of Alfred Hitcock’s novels that I first learned of the term “ventriloquism” and of the art behind it.

Years later I drew wisdom from that childhood experience. I once listened to a speaker and he talked about how we humans rarely learn something new from life because we assume we have learned all that there is to know about a thing. We look at a bird or a flower and we say “bird” , “flower”. And assume there is nothing more to learn from them asides the fact that they are just “bird” and “flower”. So we miss out on greater revelations that may have been lurking beneath the surface; a deeper understanding of things that could revolutionize and transform our lives (and probably the world) if we were just open minded and curious enough to let nature teach us something new from that which we are already think we know.

As I thought deeply on that teaching, I realized that in the speaker’s context, we often act as ventriloquists. We think nature is dumb and can’t speak to us so we speak too ourselves on nature’s behalf, concluding that there can’t be any more to learn from a thing or experience than we already known. Thus we observe things but hear only our echoes.

It dawned on me a few years ago that I was, surprisingly, a Christian ventriloquist. I’d read the Bible and instead of letting the Bible speak to me, I would conclude on what I thought the scriptures meant. And this is typical for most Christians. John 3:16 never means more than “ For God so loved the word….blah blah blah….everlasting life. Faith never means more than “, the substance of things hoped for…blah blah blah…, things not seen”. We quote it parrot-like, not giving any more thought to it than we initially did. No wonder we rarely get new revelations from the Word of God. If God has been offering new revelations from that Bible text and all we ever listened to is the voice in our head, we will definitely miss out on new understanding that could have unleashed fresh blessings in our lives.

When I stopped being a Christian ventriloquist, I began to receive empowering revelations from the Bible. I couldn’t have anticipated the depth of wisdom that I was seeing in the Proverbs, Hebrews 11 & 12, Genesis 1&2, Joshua, Ephesians , etc. It’s been an amazing experience. I’ve been healed and blessed in ways I never thought possible. I would have missed out on all these if I hadn’t kept an open mind.

I got up about 4am to write this article because it’s been brewing in my heart for over a week. I had to share these words with you. It’s important that we realize that all great men acquired the habit of refusing to let stereotypes hinder them from learning something extraordinary from the ordinary, the uncommon from the mundane. After all, isn’t that what creativity is all about; the attitude of seeing or approaching things differently. In the same way, we must be willing to see and approach our faith and scriptures with a teachable spirit and desist from being the Christian Ventriloquist!

Christianity EtcRe: Theory Of Evolution Under Attacks by stnonymus(m): 12:19pm On Nov 27, 2011
What I don't understand is how this stupidity got accepted by the world as fact. And very few dared to question it. Many more would be willing to die to defend this illogical hypothesis.

What incited the "big bang" ? Where did those original elements come from ? Who was there to document it when it happened?

We only accept this theory because it appears to "free" our consciences from insubordination to God, The Creator.
