Next time if you need to withdraw, try processing it 24hrs earlier. Also, do not put money you need for day to day activities in Fund managers.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockhunter: 10:27am On Mar 19
On another angle. You see that japa wave of 2021 to 2023. A lot of nigerians that japa during that time have settled in to an extent and are heavily investing in the stock market. This is another angle most people do not factor in when they compare 2008/2020 and now. These set of people are sophisticated and earn in foreign currencies. Social media is also doing the lords work in driving the market. The other day i even saw NGX advert on youtube..
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockhunter: 10:20am On Mar 19

Dont put ellah lakes with those stocks you listed abeg..

Joyful365:
The likes of Ellah Lakes, Presco, Aradel, Guinness, Okomu, MTN, and Access Bank will shed at least 50% from their all time highs when the time comes. Watch out and check the charts
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockhunter: 10:15am On Mar 19
Is this what you want or what will happen...😊. I can bet you are in heavy cash and waiting for pull back to jump in.. well like peter lynch says, the market does not know if you own a stock or if you are in the market. Remember more money have been lost waiting for market correction than the correction itself...

You will be shocked that the person saying where una de see this money may even have much more funds and just catching cruise and having a good time.

Calling figures only motivates.

Coolis:
It's not about low self esteem issue here bro. This group is not only about investment, it's also an educational platform. From the submission of @Emmasoft and others, we can see clearly the benefits of calling figures, which is meant to encourage double minded individual about our common investment(MMF).

But, if you have been paying attention to some comments like " where una dey see this money from" after someone mentioned figure in previous thread, then, you will understand my point. Nigeria is still the poverty headquarter of the world, l learnt we overtook India again recently, l stand to be corrected. Now, we can conclude that mentioning figures has dual purposes/pros and cons. While someone's faith maybe encouraged, others may see it as oppression.

Me, am running my race at my pace and in my lane. Not in any competition with nobody. So low self esteem is out of the question. One love, just trying to make common sense
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockhunter: 11:13am On Mar 09
As oil and gas sector de shine we can also look towards the sectors servicing the oil and gas companies.. TIP and caverton. TIP is currently showing signs, but caverton still de sleep.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Stockhunter: 4:01pm On Mar 08
Thank you.

emmasoft:
@Stockhunter, the bolded is the other way round. Both payouts and reinvestments are quarterly for others, except Stanbic, which reinvests monthly and payout quarterly. In fact, Stanbic has done some different schemes when it comes to interest utilization; there was even a time when the interest would be reinvested within a few days or even a day.
They started, like others, with quarterly reinvestment or payment depending on the interest utilization an investor opt for.
The current one is monthy reinvestment and a quarterly payout.

Actually, fund managers are free to adopt different interest utilization schemes different from the norms, so far SEC doesn't frown at it.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Stockhunter: 7:59am On Mar 08
How many times a day were you planning to withdraw. Its money market fund o not regular bank account. Others with the application experience can explain further.

excel127:
So Firstally withdrawal is limited to just one per day. I've never been so stranded mehn sad
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Stockhunter:
Even 1 percent difference will produce better outcome to that of the monthly compunding. Have you done the calculation. Not to even talk of 4 percent difference. The difference will be huge if you have huge capital. Your monthly compunding will not even see the back.

Meanwhile sometime ago emmasoft said even Stanbic only pays interest monthly but does not compound until quarterly. I stand to be corrected anyway.

Abeg no compare monthly 15 percent compounding with 19percent quarterly compounding. They are not mates. Even 16 percent quarterly compounding will beat 15 percent monthly compounding by about .90 percent per annum.

Coolis:
Let's look at this analysis together please so one can make inform/better decision.

Stanbic at 15% or so compound monthly.

Trustbanc at 19% or so compound quarterly.

Trustbanc on daily basis is producing more output but this output cannot become part of the capital at month end whereas, Stanbic is producing less output on daily basis, which become part of the capital at month end.

Can we say that the difference of about 4% of daily output of trustbanc offset or cancel out whatever gain compounding of 15% of Stanbic would attract monthly before trustbanc's quarterly compounding?

If you were to choose, which of the above will you go for? Thanks

This oil crisis will likely not be stopping anytime soon. Iran has hundreds of thousands of stock piled missiles and they have nothing to loose. They are already down with their supreme leader killed. Na Us get everything to prove. The power of a military is not totally known until it is put into test. Oil will likely get to 150 cos Iran na to de fire missiles up and down now to destabilise everyone

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockhunter: 9:07pm On Feb 23
Human beings sef...

Is this not what we have long been advocating for. For more participation in the exchange just like we have in other developed exchanges. Now it is improving we de shake.. No matter how fantastic a company is if no body is buying the price will drop. We have less than 4% of our population on the exchange, other developed exchanges have 25 to 60%>>

Itzlinda:
I have seen people on social media and even Northern brothers becoming interested in Ngx. People have been posting their buy screenshot.

It is obvious the retails are here in large numbers. Is there any chance that we are close to the top?

On another scale with advantage of hindsight. There will be more traffic in their business because of political campaigns and movements to places of campaign. Lagos boys and the money bags that have joined their campaign. Moving around 36 states by political parties no be beans and not every one has private jet.
So this year nahco will have increased revenue.

leo1234:
I heard the hotel business and one other business was not included in the last financial report.

Expect more revenue going forward. grin

Boss i greet you. Abeg just to ask. Are you with ren money, asked this from one or two of your posts. I noticed the rate for Flex has dropped on the app. Can one get concession cos i am thinking of moving out my funds.

Odunharry:
What rate did you give them. I know DMO will reduce rate slightly seeing the number of subscription far way above offer. People wants to lock in on rate early this year cos we might see decline in rate as the year goes

On japaul gold... I remember when loco was hawking it and while i was observing the stock whether to enter or not. On a day when it was on full bid towards close of trade after 2.20 between 2.20 and 2.30 which is brokers time the full bud was crushed to sub 3 to 2. Something. I remember mentioning it here then that it was a deliberate attempt and was wondering why the MM will do such. I knew there was motive.. men de accumulate..well i managed to enter yesterday but didn't get enough units as i would have wanted. Make i make do with the one i have.

According to Lynch, more money have been lost waiting for market correction than the bear market or correction itself...

Meanwhile see NGXGROUP i was projecting 200 in years to come say 5 years.. where e de run go like this.

mikeapollo:
Agba!!!
Positivity galore for the economy!
But when it gets to NGX, you tighten your face. Hope you are also positive that NGX go blow this year and Access and other stocks go hit 100%
