simply put, it attacks speedsters who have messed with time, remember in an episode of LOT (I can't remember which in particular), Nate was able to discover that the reason Eobard Thawne wanted to rewrite history was mostly personal (which was to eliminate his trail by black flash) and Eobard is a time wraith, Damien Darhk confirmed it in the episode were Malcolm, Damien and Thawne came together, reached an agreement and imprisoned Black Flash

The black flash only hunts time traitors, the reason the time wraith didn't attack Barry as he fought Zoom in Season 2's last episode was that Barry's time remnant was dead after sacrificing himself to stop Zoom's machine....

So this version of Eobard that is dead is another time remnant, the original Eobard is still in the future protected by the speed force, because no matter what happens to your ancestors, as a speedster, you will still exist in your original timeline.. (too much science talk).

this isn't the first time we have seen Eobard eliminated from the timeline.

Lol I've watched his movie. Like I said, comic book versions of Superman will embarrass Hancock; what he's done is bigger than anything we've seen on TV, so let's use his movie versions.

Aiit so Hancock needs to be with his ex-wife before you can kill him - Superman doesn't know that. On the other hand, Hancock doesn't have kryptonite to hurt Superman. So both of their weaknesses are out of it, it will be a long fight. But mind you, Hancock hasn't faced any Superman-level threat so we can't be sure if he can handle or endure Supe's powerset long enough. Superman sha, has handled more than anything Hancock has done:

* He held his own against 2 kryptonians who were more skilled than him, and fought Zod immediately after, that's like fighting 3 Hancocks (if not 3 people more powerful than Hancock) - Man of Steel ,
* Lifted an entire island of kryptonite (his own weakness) and carried it to space after he had earlier been stabbed by the same kryptonite - Superman Returns ,
* Survived a nuke - Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ,
* and he's even time travelled - one of those early Superman movies

I just don't see Hancock winning this.

This is my analysis (which I'm not even sure this discussion is allowed here, but I hope it answers your curiosity)

Woah, This fight will be so sad and one-sided. Superman outclasses Hancock in so many ways it's not even funny. Especially if you're talking about comic book versions of Supes, but if you're talking about movie versions of Superman (Man of Steel for e.g.), Hancock can put up a good fight, but he'll still lose.

Btw, I don't know if this discussion is allowed in this thread tho...
