Singles Hangouts is a site that was created to provide motivation, inspiration and information that are vital especially to singles in area of Academics, relationship, career, lifestyle, fashion and socialism in general.

Hello guys, this one is on girlfriend no.3 as it complements my last two posts. Well her name was Oluwakemi, also called Sharon. She was also very pretty. Dark in complexion, average height, and speaks yoruba fluently. Damn! I loved that about her. I met her when I went out of town to work with the Feds on political issues. We were quite very young to be on that assignment but we did work our way through and it was a privilege. As such, we were friends for less than two weeks before this time around, she said she would love us to have something intimate. I wasn't strong enough to turn a lady down and besides, I liked her and I was single AF.

So we started dating, she was the social media girlfriend (THE 10 DIFFERENT TYPES OF GIRLFRIENDS, visit homepage to read) and in just few days, virtually all her friends and family members were aware of her new boyfriend. It was going all well. She once made me a tea I still cannot forget, lol. It was almost as thick as mud. We would work during the day and when work time elapsed, we would be together till we sleep, taking strolls, visiting places and doing all sort of things that made us happy.

At a point, it dawned on us that the assignment was coming to an end and we were going to be far apart since I stayed in benin and she based in Ondo. It is a two hour drive. It was a major burden for me even when she felt it was okay because I knew how bad I was with distant relationships and I didn't know how bad it was going to be to stay without her.

We tried as much as we could to enjoy the time we had left because we didn't know when we were going to see again after we both go home. Finally after the assignment, we had to be separated and we both promised to find a way to come down to either state. It became lonely without her and for the first few weeks, I missed her terribly but after some time, I began to see what was before me and it began to feel okay to be without her.

Now, I know that I am not the best at relationships and I probably deserve strokes but today I regret most of these mistakes and I sometimes wish I could go back and change things. Writing this article reminds me of a bad relationship past and most times, I am deeply sored because I made terrible mistakes. But bringing it out to the public makes it feel like I am reaching them all and letting them know how sorry I am.

Her name was Jane. She was fair and spotless, with long hair and a brown eye colour. I liked her from the first day I laid eyes on her. With time, I guess she began to like me too because now she was staring back even when I wasn't aware, but I was too scared to walk up to her because she was way out of my league. She was ever guys open crush. We remained like that for a very long time. We were still on Uniforms. At a point, it came to the knowledge of the whole class that we wouldn't stop staring at ourselves, so the guys started calling me MTN, because of her complexion.
Soon, it was as though I was fooling myself, taking glory to having a girl I have not even talked to, so I maned up one morning and I wrote her a note because I probably would have fainted if I were telling her staring at her eyes, lol. She read the note and also sent me her own note, and wolla!, she agreed to be my girlfriend. I was the happiest. Later that day, after the close of school, we were walking home, and I was too happy I didn't have anything to say, so I just kept on smiling.
Now we were dating and it was though I the story of crystabel started again. We were fast falling in love with each other, and I was scared of losing her. She was awesome. she was funny, sometimes crazy, very caring. She was a very jealous type and also quick to anger, but I loved her all the same. Being the the guy dating Jane, I almost became the talk of the whole school and soon I gained the attention of many other girls. I was caught up with the fact that I had girls around and so I started misbehaving. I didn't cheat on her though but my attention wasn't fully hers anymore. I shared it, especially with a girl called Jennifer.
She couldn't live with it and after 1 year, 3 months of dating, it was she greatest shock when she said to me that it was over and that she couldn't continue with such humiliation. I almost cried. Jane was a very decisive person and so all efforts to plea for her return proved abortive. And so, life went on till...

Over the years, I've had series of girlfriends summing up to a total number of 6. Till date, I still remember all 6 like the back of my palms. They where all great but something always seemed to break us up. These series are summaries of what happened with all of them.

       My 1st Girlfriend went by the name Crystabel. She was beautiful, fair in complexion, average height and she had it all. Despite these qualities, we weare kids, young, immature and naive. We didn't know what it took to be in or maintain a relationship but yet she captured my heart. We only had school hours to meet see each other and when school closes, we waited in anticipation for the next day. Weekends we're the worse. We didn't have phones, so there weare no sorts of communication until Monday as our houses where far apart from each other. Despite all these barriers, we were still each others distraction as we hardly concentrated in class activities. But that was all it was. Constant staring and smiling, dating in secrecy and getting super jealous when she talked with other boys or laughed at their jokes, lol. And all of a sudden, I had to switch schools. Damn! My heart melted when I heard the news. She cried when I told her and begged me not to go as though it was within my power to object with my dad. It was the worst moment I had ever known.

       Every other activity became so uninteresting.  I knew it wasn't going to end well. I tried talking my parents out of the idea but to no avail. They are very decisive, and so it was certain that I had to go. She almost became a sadist, became unhappy with everything that happened around her. The day I was to leave, she fell sick and did not come to school.

      At this time, I was a student of another school and it became super difficult to learn. Her absence was too much to bear. I would write her name on my books and sometimes even on my uniforms. I swear, it wasn't easy at all. I tried to skip lectures once in a while to visit my former school so as to see her face. And then I discovered that as the days rolled by, it became easier,  and soon, I had new friends who helped me keep my mind off her for some time. The next year, she travelled her family relocated to port harcourt and it was just then I realised I had lost her for good. But there was nothing I could do so Life continued, Damn!!!  I hate that we where kids. So that was how Crystabel and I ended up.

1. Even as much as every girl loves to be paid girl loves to be paid a great deal of attention, she's often thinking about the guy who gives her little or no attention at all. This is because she was born as an attracting figure and she has lived in that realm of attractiveness practically all her life and for one guy to not follow the crowd gives her something to worry about. An average girl is full of pride about these things, so you may never know she's thinking about you. But some girls will start making little advances like locking eyes or trying to voice out in your group discussions just to get your attention. When you start seeing these signs, don't jump right into her claws, you may make a fool of yourself. Just keep playing hard to get foe some time, and she falls right in love with you. BOOM!!!

2. This may sound crazy to many guys but it's actually very true. If you have a girlfriend, do not hide her. Let every girl who cares to know know. Let the word spread to your friends and to their friends of how right you treat her.

I'm not advising that though, it is not a good thing to cheat. What I'm saying is, stop following old trends. Girls are tired of hearing "I am single" from every guy they meet. Speak some truth and keep her wondering what sort of guy you are.

3. Be truthful. Tell her if she looks witchy on her make up. Tell her when her mouth stinks. When her dressing is old fashioned. When her dance moves are irritating. When you get offended by something she says, just tell her. Guys, we really need to stop pretending to like everything she does just because we are scared to lose her. Truth is, she may get offended, but she'll definitely come to love you for your truthfulness. Tell her the raw truth every time it needs to be said. Don't mock her in your statements or in any way embarrass her publicly. Be careful and watch your words trying to make her understand that you care, and that's why you are showing concern.

Honestly, I think every girl is a pretty healthy mix of all these types of girlfriends but I thought it would be great to separate them into 10 different types. Here they are:

1. THE SOCIAL MEDIA GIRLFRIEND: This girl is very obsessed with putting her relationship on social media. She can't afford to have her phone battery dead. Give her a surprise romantic kiss on the cheek and you will have to do it again because she needs to either be recording or taking pictures.
