Thanks ma'am. The man is so funny. 3000 naira can not buy 1 litre of acid and thickener and he claims he's into production of detergent. You see why people don't like sharing ideas here huh?

A friend of mine saw this thread, before God and man, he would have thrown me a serious slap if he could. '' 500 naira for this training? Ha! what is 500 naira?'' You can just imagine.

I must also caution you and interested people that you are selling half truth to them. I'm into detergent production. There is no way 3000 Naira can set up toilet soap production not even for personal use. This is a blatant lie!!!! That amount CANNOT buy 1L acid thickener alone!!! Unless you are producing concoction called toilet cleaner!
If you are interested in toilet soap just google "toilet wash ingredient". I can assure you that two-third of info you need is online. If you need technical advice email me.

I advise you ask from the people that sold to you to direct you to where you can get the others because they'll definitely have idea.

Heyllo Sir @Jendor123, you can get everything there in Ojota, you probably didn't go to the right shop. Check the shops where powder milk are sold in bags, those guys sell materials for youghurt and custard as well.
If you can't get the tertrazine, ignore it, it does the same work as egg yellow. You'll still have a nice custard without it though. Just add enough supplements.


More also, you can get your corn starch very cheap there. A killo goes for 200 naira or even less.

Heyllo Ma'am @Fabricvilla, those things are actually very good but not to the extent of not carrying out the production for not having them.



One very important thing is to know which of the chemicals to avoid touching the skin and how to handle such. For instance, in soap making generally the following chemicals are to be handled with care:



- Caustic soda (lye): can course chemical burn if it comes in contact with skin



-sulphurnic acid: almost same as above (peels the skin)





PRECAUTION: these things don't just jump on somebody as people make it look like. If you can't be careful enough to avoid them touching your skin, you can simply make use of hand gloves and stir gently to avoid it pouring on you.

In case it happens, rinse off with water immediately. Cold water works better.



You can get eye google and hand gloves from most chemical shops at Ojota chemical market. As for the moulds, it all depends on the shape you want. Moulds can be constructed locally.
