I think its Rohr's tactics he acted out IMO

I said it before this match, in a 4-4-2 he has to enter midfield because he will be one of the ball progressors but Iheanacho is not cut out for that job

Rohr invited both and monitored them in close quarter during training so there is no way ebuehi will be better than awaziem and Aina but was dropped.

Dude is too light weight wise for African footie. He is skillful on the ball and moves forward smoothly but not rugged enough for African jam body football

Go and watch Nigeria- Algeria match and realize you know nothing about Ebuehi, Aina was clearly in better form coming into this match but this match has exposed him once again like all his GWG matches

Our formation looks overly attacking minded. We are starting with four attackers (victor, samu, nacho and oyekuru). And we are also starting with two attack minded fullback. The midfield looks thin. Heck! aribo is also attacking minded.... ndidi will have to be disciplined, sit back and shield the defence well. I expect us to score goals with this set up, but arent we being overly reckless with this set up? Well we just have to sit down and enjoy this experiment. We have already qualified for the afcon, what better time to try out this tantalising experiment? On paper we should tear benin to shreads!!

I expect the full backs to remain defensively minded especially in the first half, they can go and join the attack depending on how the game goes
