MetalJigsaw:
Why the hell did Rohr OK that pitch? What happened to the Uyo one?
The Uyo one was poor the last time we played on it

Nigeria has problems maintaining pitches

Stormtrooper11:
Aribo was bad too
Aribo struggled on that pitch today, he was measuring his pass because the grass always slowed the ball, he couldn't even dribble which is his greatest strength

He had no fault today from me

And Rohr don't have commonsense?
Sometimes it needs somebody else to point out common sense to you

that's what you get when you employ an analyst to deputize a clueless tactician.
This is not even about football knowledge, this is just common sense

With talents like Akpoguma, Okoye, Uzoho,Awaziem,Omerou and Akpeyi
This is not the first time that average players won a tournament, let's stop deflecting a coaches blame on players
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Subzero047: 7:38pm On Nov 13, 2020
Joebie:
How are you sure he doesn't listen to his assistants? well, we got Yobo, who I've always sounded was not the right decision. If you need a coach to learn on the job, who does he learn from? Rohr? will he be learning how to manage players?
Yobo has common sense, do you think he would not have told Rohr that inviting only 3 midfielders is counter productive?

Yobo was an analyst before he took up the job
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Subzero047: 7:32pm On Nov 13, 2020
Joebie:
What Rohr is lacking there is no assistant to fill it. It's an easy fix get a solid assistant or get a coach who has those abilities as well. Player management is not enough to go far.
I don't think he listens to anybody because some of his decisions defy common sense that even Yobo will tell him

Rohr should sub out the only 3 midfielders we have and rest them for the next game

He and Yobo should enter the field since they refused to invite replacements
