I was wrong but he begged for it Calling him Sheyi PhD was not ad hominem? |

But not any professional scout l know and know more than a hundred in the UK.
I could add more but then it would be considered posturing by some here and me pretending. Yeah you know every profferessional scout in UK but I said what I said |

komekn: Wow you really do not have an idea of how things work in Europe.
I know Roma and Ajax are monitoring players in EPL clubs who are not even 12 yet. One of them has already got sports deal sponsorship. By the way they are Nigerian origin.
There is huge network of scouts that go to games across Europe. There are too many to mention youth tournament organised by the elite teams of Europe, from U8 to 19.
Years ago Malcom Elias head of recruitment at Fulham. He was at Liverpool, then Southampton. He is very experienced over thirty plus years in the game.
Where did l meet him at a game with the Nigerian U18 all stars that Fashanu had brought over from Abuja to play Manchester United and City. U 18 teams. Why was he there because l invited him.
But to do that they had to play my team first, unfortunately the players were good but not organised and Fashanu is not a great coach.
They lost 8-1.
Langley from United was there too, he has left United now.
These guys are the heads of recruitment and they still attend games looking for the next Mbappe. They don't sit in office watching YouTube.
The environment is somewhat subterfuge with each team spying out each others prospects future and present. I don't have time for all your long talk, scouts look at players from youtube clips believe it or not |

BascoVanVeli: Okay I am all ears, prove that he is not considered a serious prospect.
The player himself confirmed that he was supposed to be in preseason with the team. If u want to call him a lie then that is your own. I'm not even a Liverpool fan and I will prove to you Liverpool's first choice striker - Firmino Second choice - Minamino Third choice - Origi (unneeded) Fourth choice - Brewster (on loan) 5th choice - Awoniyi How do you think Liverpool consider him a prospect from the ratings? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Subzero047: 1:57pm On Aug 04, 2020 |
komekn: You may think I am being conceited and or telling lies.
But l probably know or have engaged with the recruitment teams of at least 70% of all the EPL clubs. And that's my perspective European football.
And I can assure you nobody uses YouTube videos to make player recruitment.
Clubs will start right from age grade competitive football then academy football to create a profile of a player.
So before the player signs professional everyone know who he is. For instance all the outstanding 12 year old players are already known to clubs. Thry monitor them from year to year to see thier progression. I know of clubs who have bought players at 11 years old. From other clubs.
I know of clubs that have brought players from North America to the UK EPL clubs at age 13.
Presenting a player profile will never have s YouTube clip as a basis. All academy games in category 1 academies have games video recorded right from age 9 sometimes younger.
Finally, l never give clubs video footage of a collection of games all compressed into 7 minutes of footage more or less. It's always singular individual games compressed into 6/7 minutes more or less in individual video clips. So what is presented is a number of individual games clips that gives a more rounded view and is very difficult to contrive. This guy you think football starts and ends in the EPL, when a scout hears about a player for the first time where do you think he goes? YouTube clips do not give you exhaustive profile of a player but they can offer certain insights into player attributes like style of play, speed etc |

sheyishemba: What did nwakali achieved before he earn a move to huesca ?!? He has achieved in Belgium and was still spectacular in Germany he wasn't given game time to show them what's he got and even the small time he was given he was damn impressive .so what's you saying baba you gat no point you made that preposition coz of your hatred and utmost biasness. Huesca bought Nwakali when they were in division 2,do you want any division 2 club to buy Awoniyi? You say he was spectacular in Germany what did he do? The thing is you expect clubs to be rushing players because they are Nigerian but Awoniyi is in a bad place as a player atm |

He needs to go where he will be playing abeg, if there are no offers from spain and italy say make e kill him self ni?
I wonder why he is even lacking offers from the farmers league , abi teams like rennes and co no need players?
But portugal is better than nigeria , so what are you saying ? It depends on the marketing ability of his agent, I don't think he would have gone to Galatasaray and now thinking of Olympiacos with what he has done in the Belgian league if he had a good agent |

Midtable team , on the back of what achievement? He had a chance to build a reputation in an actual midtable team but it is a shame that injury came when it came It is now up to his agent to make a clever proposition to a promoted club to prevent a free-fall |

TheLoneCitizen: Alexander Sorloth of Crystal Palace took several steps backwards to Turkey and now after 44G+A, Barcelona and other elite clubs are interested. Reason why I don't fret when I see rumours of Onyekuru to Olympiacos or to Turkey. All you need is 20G+A and the national team are on your radar.
Anthony Nwakaeme is rated the best winger in Turkey, the only reason he is not being invited is because of age. Imagine if a 25yr old had same stat, he'll be first on that list.
If Awoniyi gets a move to Anderlecht, perfect. All you need is get your mojo back. Our captain plays in the Middle East for goodness sake. Who told you moving to Anderlecht is a step backwards |

BascoVanVeli: Mainz didn't even have an option to buy. He is going back to Liverpool where he will surely get loaned out to a top league. But before that he might get a preseason run with the team. Either way I guarantee there will be suitors Liverpool don't need Awoniyi and Mainz was his sure way to top flight football, what club would buy an unproven striker who couldn't even finish the season? |

TheLoneCitizen: There are some points in life when moving backwards is the only way you can push forwards. Umar Sadiq is a wanted man because he was willing to take that step backward.
This is foresight. Awoniyi has moved back, he can't afford to move back again he's not a teen |
