chrisooblog: Guy Ekong came out to clear eminent danger blaming him solely for the F up of other people is a touch too far. Yes I blame him because he was responsible for that goal who do you want me to blame Okoye or Awaziem? He should be doing better as a professional defender |

chrisooblog: one thing I have noticed about us Nigerians is once we have an agenda against someone come hell or high water we will change our position about the person despite the evidence staring you in the face. I won't be hypocritical I sometimes find myself falling into that frame of mind Are you trying to say I have an agenda against Ekong, did you watch that clip and don't think I have a point? |

BascoVanVeli: U have not said any that would work. U said he should have kicked the ball to a corner and somebody stepped in to save u but are still shouting plenty options.
The question is why don't you people want to question Okoye and Awaziem That's what I really want to know. Na fight besides that shot came with velocity Okoye had no chance |

BascoVanVeli: It is common sense. In that position Ekong did the only thing possible . If he had gone for the header and missed people like you would still bash him. There are so many choices Ekong could have made in that position and he made the worst one, I don't know why you are defending him |

BascoVanVeli: That was the only option available. He had to stop the ball from getting to the striker. If he tried to use his left he might not have reached the ball. There is no way he could direct the ball to the corner with his right because he could only use the outside of his foot. If he could do that he would be playing striker for Watford and not CB He was in control of the direction the ball went, it was not a shot but rather a punt so he had time to make a decision the fact that he sent the ball to the middle of the pitch, (the worst place he could have sent it) was a bad decision imo |

BascoVanVeli: Come on now how will he put this ball sideways or to the corner Make it make sense to me. He can use his front leg and punt it sideways (leading to a throw-in) seeing that pushing it backwards would only connect with the side of his foot and won't generate much velocity Its like heading backwards, defenders are advised to head sideways or if they must, apply much velocity to a backward header |

BascoVanVeli: That was not a clearance, he blocked the ball from getting to the striker. That was the best he could do in that situation. If he had gone for a clearance and missed that might have been an even easier goal. He directed the ball backwards, he could have directed it sideways or even for a corner kick |

No pressing, can't run, misplaced passes, man isn't putting in the work at all plus our right wing is dead Everybody knows he isn't the best at build up play, when you don't play to his strengths what do you expect? I said it before no striker will excel with Ndidi and Etebo combo behind him |
