If it's him the Portuguese game will suit him more and enable him to develop. I don't know if he's a Nigerian origin player |

Napoleon55: I hope Ekong to wathford remain a rumour', we don't want our two captains playing outside of top 5 leagues, even as I suggest Rohr should just make Ndidi the captain, orbeit when Musa retires. He should just forget about who is the most senior . We need a captain that will always be on the pitch, also influential even off the pitch. I can't think of any other player right now. Captain is not your best player |

barackodam: What is it with you people and wanting everybody to score?
He's a defender for crying out loud. His job is to defend, keep clean sheets.
Ederson has assists, Neuer doesn't, does that make Ederson better than Neuer since he contributes goals to his team?
Evaluate a defender by his primary duty, defending. How good does he defend. And not how good he passes the ball or contribute in attack.
I've never seen anywhere where a forward is rated by his ability to help out his team defensively. It's always the other way around.
Easy with the obsession, abeg. Attacking returns should be a bonus, not a yardstick.
Mascherano played 7½ years for Barça and scored only one goal, which was a pk Messi dashed him since he was leaving. But because he scored one goal would anyone say he's not good enough?
Make I rest...... The guy gave his opinion I don't know why you are attacking him about it Besides I don't see where he said Ekong should score |

Kog45: Kelly my man, a fit Balogun would start ahead of Semi and Uduokhai and proper tournament don't rule out Omeruo.Awaziem truly average defender but proved me wronged with his performance in the last Afcon.
...but funny enough I don't rate Ekong.
Apart from Jordan,i don't see Kevin, Uduokhai getting it easy with our present defenders I thought I was the only one |
