My generator(medium elepaq) was running for about 30 minutes before the electricity went off. On getting to the generator house,I saw that it was still on but it wasn't supplying electricity. I also found out that the circuit breaker was switched off,and I tried to switch it on but it kept on automatically switching off.

Frustrated,I turned off the gen and it immediately made a deafening pop sound.Can someone tell me the issue and how to fix it?

Remove the plug from the gen, On the gen, switched on the breaker, if it did not return, trace the supplied cable to your change over for bridges. If breaker return, reduce the gen speed, if breaker still returns, replace breaker.

Good day Experts in the house,
Yesterday night while running my generator, I heard a loud sharp noise from it as it went dead. It could no longer start as the pulling rope became stiff.

A Little History
The generator has been ringed 3 times with one and a half years due to oil shorting. Each mechanic promises a good job. The last ringing just latest barely 3 months.

Specification
It is an ELEMAX 3200 ex.

Please I need a good mechanic to look at it and repair. My location is IBADAN.

Each Mechanic did their best, once a gen is ringed depending on usage and load, it might use upto 6months or 1 year. If you can't afford half engine will recommend you tell the mechanic to use original sumec firman standard + ring for the piston assy.

Causes
Valve in contact with piston
Incorrect valve clearance/adjustment

Since you're powering those load, always check for the valve adjustment at every services. That your ACs and freezer starting power will always have effect on your gen.

Also next time see, snap and post picture of whatever your technician said happened

Today my Gen stopped supplying light into the house and the Mechanic told me it has a coil problem. Am about to spend 75k on a new coil. Pls is there anything I should know before buying. Especially the best make to buy to avoid wahala. Thanks

When you start it, does the voltmeter read? Have you tried test with another AVR before conclusion on the coil?. If truly coil is bad I think 75k is much for the coil.

The engineer I called told me original acid battery for gen is 13k
The battery acid was leaking before that's why It stop working

Buy new battery, motorcycle battery is okay. Go to any motorcycle spare part shop. Note the number on your battery along which one be original battery

Secondly, the so called professional was coming from Toll-gate, that's #300 away from Ifo. It's no reason enough to want to charge me 70k even if his bus runs on diamond and gold.
True, there's no clearance price for these services but then, how about a little form of consideration? The difference in the price was too much na. 70k?? 10k? What gives?

He never carry load gan gan, if dem see correct load wey go make dem loosse the seat, he will come and say if their price is reasonable. Commercial bus wey no dey hear charter

I went to move two beds and one mattress from Ogba Ikeja. I paid 8k for the man who helped moved the items. The same guy who helped moved the first item. I collected his number.
Last week, I bought some items and I wanted moving them from Ifo to this far part of Ogun state. As the items were plenty and I didn't want to employ the service of the first guy because he drives a car and I needed a bus or pickup. I reached out to one of these self acclaimed professional moving companies. Baba said #70K. I was shocked.
I even begged for 30k and he said No.
God is my witness, the furniture maker called one of his customers for me. Baba came with his Pickup (Dyna) and his first price was 10k. E be like film. I didn't even bother to price any further because the discount was too much for me. He even offered to pay off the guys who assisted in loading and offloading them. I said make e rest. But our people here go wan charge you 20k untop ceiling fan of 9k.

I am into this haulage services, you said from ifo to far part of Ogun state. The professional company u wanted to contract are they in ifo? When next you wan move items it's better to get the services from the location you're moving it from. I can't imagine u wan to move an items in ifo and I am coming from ojodu berger to ifo to far part of Ogun state. Na Diesel my bus dey use. I will just tell you I no dey go but some people go wan consider to do am and mostly na petrol engine truck/bus go do am. Police, road safety, Vio and local government tout go see bus wey carry load dem dey always happy well na for those wey no get complete papers dem go happy for sha. I took a 3tonnes battery from ogba to ibadan I was offered 120k, I told the man if you ain't paying me 150k I no dey go. Shockingly the previous person wey dey help them move am na 180k he dey bill them which he later told me. Na the reason I no wan dey say I dey do haulage services here. Expecially this clearance thread as there is no clearance price for moving items. Make unah no dey talk down on the business sha some can be greedy it's either u stay or walk away.

It's not about what you're moving but the distance. I don help people move their items here close to free as their route with mine is close. At the same time diesel price is not a joke

what you should do is to visit any transport park in your area....find the bus that is going to your desire destination....then charter the whole bus....you go just add small money for load.

Lol, if you believe this will work. All those bus driver sef no blind to see say na load he wan move, they will equally charge you.
