We have an update now and Amarachi is firing back at the magazine. Please read the statement she sent in below:


Dear Theo,
I have been waiting for a response and you have responded- and with no surprise, more mix of stories.
During the time of the competition...I'm sorry do you state T n C's during a competition or before? Yes, you said bikini shoots....and if you can recall my response vividly- I said I can wear swim suits and can't go topless. And you let me carry on with the contest (meaning my answer was good enough). Of which we threw the question back at you for laughs and you replied saying you can go nude. But off the meeting, We revisited the topic and you said you gave that response but did not mean it. Correct that.
What is a contract? an agreement between two or more parties for the doing or not doing of something specified. Notice the word "AGREEMENT", if anything you were the dictator.
You gave me a contract and it is very typical to object to things not understood. I demanded clarifications on some things stated( which you did) and you knew my commitments before I contested- you said it will not affect my existing commitments. You even said because you understood my position, I could state my availability only that it will reduce income that comes to me. I/We agreed with that until I am able to regularize. You were completely fine with that.
The talk show was best to be out because you were reluctant to say what comes to me for that.
Ps- this contract has not been signed and was supposed to be signed on the day of the shoot(I was to print an official document to be presented to me by myself). So what agreement have I breached? What grounds were the bases of lack of commitment, availability and requirements not met? Have we even started working together yet?
I have my flight bookings,emails and online pass as proof that this flight was booked. This trip was impromptu and within short notice, I was still able to squeeze out time to be there but unfortunately flight was cancelled( 30/01/2016). I booked this flight on my own expense, something a brand should have taken care of. This is very unheard of and totally inappropriate. He said I was a boss lady so I should cover my flight costs and that upon signing of contract the media will cover my cost. Correct that.

Despite incurring my flight costs, I said I will pay for damages caused that day as the flight was cancelled and that we could negotiate a reimbursement. Unless you have been refunded, I do not know who will not buy into a reimbursement. No room for mishap, for such a trip you told me about the next day after winning.
My folks were in full support of this until they started sensing an imbalance.
You don't confuse gaining understanding to dictation. You were upset that I showed my contract to a third party- who signs a contract without proper cross examine? Next thing I am being sent a mail talking about my lack of commitment and availability also not meeting up to requirements were you stated clearly that going topless and wearing bikini was the criteria.
I think your visions should be re- phrased because this act doesn't quite cut what empowering youths means . Even you can't do the things you impose. You admitted yourself that you did not get things right this first edition and will do so for the next. An edition you said I would host because you definitely saw I more than met your requirements.
I don't think you want me to go on about the things you said that were off the contest. Because if you are so confident about your story, I will still find you on my BBM and whatsapp. Apparently, you have deleted yourself to clear evidence. Or you thought your BC won't get to me?
Speak the truth Theo Olele, I respected your integrity unfortunately you lost it to media.
This is my last statement.

I said I will sue for still talking messy about me and this comes out .He now remembers this?? Can all that has been said be retracted?? Such nonsense!
How can I be cool and still be a disgrace to womanhood? Mr Theo, take two seconds before speaking, because it takes less than a second to regret things said.I surely wish u the best too.

An Ibadan Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Iyaganku, in the Oyo State capital, on Friday ordered that Mrs. Yewande Oyeniran, who allegedly stabbed her husband to death in Akobo area of Ibadan should be kept in Agodi prison, despite the plea by her counsel that she should be kept in police custody.

The deceased, Lowo Oyeniran, was a property manager who lived in Grenoble, France, but who also visited his wife in Nigeria regularly since they got married three years ago. He was allegedly stabbed by Yewande, a state counsel with the Department of Public Prosecution, Oyo State, after a disagreement early morning on Tuesday. The couple had no child.

The presiding chief magistrate, Mrs Kehinde Durosaro-Tijani, also adjourned the case to February 16. Presenting the suspect before the court, Inspector Amos Adewale preferred one-count charge against the accused, which she pleaded not guilty to.

According to the charge sheet, the prosecutor said, “Yewande on February 2, 2016 at about 610am at No 30 AbidiOdan, Akobo area, Ibadan, in the Ibadan Magisterial District, did unlawfully cause the death of one Oyelowo Oyediran, 38, by stabbing him with knife on the neck, which later resulted to his death.”


He told the court that through her action, the accused had committed an offence contrary to Section 316 and punishable under Section 319 of the Criminal Code Cap 38 Vol II Laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000.

Counsel for the accused person, Mr.Seun Abimbola, had prayed the court to remand Yewande in police custody because she was traumatised as a result of the incident.

The accused was however taken to prison in a Nissan Primera car, allegedly owned by a lawyer who is a friend to the suspect. This prevented journalists from capturing her exit.

Media personality and comedienne, Omotunde David, popularly known as Lolo 1 of Wazobia FM, speaks about her failed marriage and recent spat with colleague, Princess in a new interview with Punch Spice.

Excerpts:

How have you been able to shield your private life from prying fans?

I am a proud mother of four children and I have the right to keep them away from prying fans. If you
know me very well, you would know that they are my all and an integral part of my life. Occasionally, I post their pictures on social media, but that’s not what’s key for me.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that your marriage has broken up.

My husband is a very private man and I wouldn’t want to put him out there. It’s not something he appreciates or cares about. We’re presently going through a divorce, but we have mutual respect for each other. We will do all we can to protect and nurture our lovely kids. We are also actively involved in the lives of our children.

You recently called out your fellow comedian, Princess, on Twitter. What were you particularly unhappy about?

Sometimes, women have issues. At an event which held this month, she caused me to feel awkward. I felt slighted because her action was unnecessary. I had to give vent to my anger because I am human. Some of our colleagues waded into the matter and I believe that our differences will be sorted out. We’re human beings and we are bound to hurt each other at some point.But, we have to let it go and keep the ball rolling.

Have you ever committed a fashion blunder?

I once missed the memo to an event, so I arrived at the venue looking overdressed. For an informal event, I was decked in a super show-stopping dress. I felt uncomfortable and I have since learnt to always consider the nature of an event before I come up with a choice of attire.

Popular singer GT Da Guitarman has revealed why he proposed to his girlfriend.

In a chat with Vanguard Showtime, GT opened up on why he proposed to her at this time. In his words “It has always been something I wanted to do. I’m going to be 32 this year, so obviously, I’m not getting younger. Apart from the age thing, this is also someone that I love so much. So the proposal is just the right thing to do at this time.”

On why he decided to marry a non-Yoruba woman, GT said, ” don’t see love as a tribal thing; it’s about what you feel about a person, and it happens to you naturally. I think one of the problems Nigerians have is that we don’t truly love ourselves. The moment we love ourselves, we’ll see ourselves as Nigerians first and foremost.”

Asked when he will be walking down the aisle with the love of his life, GT disclosed that it will be before the end of the year. “I will be getting married before the end of the year,” he disclosed.

There is outrage in Enugu State following the discovery, Monday evening, shocking images of dead bodies buried in shallow graves along the Enugu Port-Harcourt Express Road.

The incident, which occurred at the Ugwuaji Area of the State has kept residents in tears.

DAILY POST gathered that human parts and fresh dead bodies were discovered at an uncompleted building, inside a bush along the Express Way.

A source hinted that curious villagers raised the alarm, which prompted security agencies to invade the location.

In the meantime, villagers are pointing accusing fingers on a new church located close to the scene.

One of those who were at the scene described the act as “wicked and the most inhuman action I have seen in my entire life.”

Agency takes over hotel, mansion, shopping mall

Property believed to belong to former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki was at the weekend confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna.

Dasuki, NSA to former President Goodluck Jonathan, is at the centre of a massive investigation into the alleged misapplication of about $2.1 billion meant for the procurement of arms.

A panel, which investigated the way the money was spent, indicted Dasuki and others. The EFCC moved in. Dasuki has been arraigned in court.

It was learnt that the property of others linked with the scandal were also confiscated by the anti-graft agency in Kaduna.



Among them is a former Theatre Commander of the Operation Lafia Dole in Maiduguri, Major General Yishau Mahmood Abubakar.

It was learnt that occupants of some of the buildings were expelled by EFCC operatives who took over the property, which they marked with red ink.

Dasuki’s confiscated property are said to be a hotel complex on Rabah Road, Malali GRA in the heart of Kaduna metropolis and a mansion under construction on Sani Sami Road, also in Malali GRA.

Except for some workers moving out their tools, the site was empty yesterday.

Maj.-Gen. Abubakar’s residential duplex located at No. 5C, Sultan Close was sealed off Sunday evening.

When our correspondent visited the property yesterday, it was marked in red paint, “Keep off, under EFCC investigation” in red paint.

It was also gathered that when the EFCC operatives arrived at the house, there was a birthday party going on. Everybody was asked to vacate the premises immediately and they obeyed.

A shopping mall allegedly belonging to Gen. Abubakar’s wife was also confiscated by the anti-graft agency. The inscription “Keep off, under EFCC investigation” was put on it.

Sources said the property belongs to the General’s brother and not his wife – as alleged.

Another shopping mall on Sultan Road, which is believed to belong to Gen. Abubakar’s friend who is an Ambassador was also confiscated.
