If you knew Nigeria football so well you won't come here and post this rubbish. Before the introduction of MRI scan by FIFA, even when the MRI scan was newly introduced, majority of Nigeria footballers were removing as much as 15 years from their ages mostly to play age grade NT. It was when MRI started disqualifying most of these players that most of the players ages started aligning with the age competition.
In 2005 when players like Ambrose Vanzeki, Monday James and Daddy Bazuaye went to the U20 playing for Insurance, I was at Bendel United feeders and even one of the ball boys at Samuel Ogbemudia stadium. I was at the Stadium as a ball boy in 2005 when these names just returned from the U20 WC and Bendel Insurance played a match with Kano Pillars. Aside the earlier mentioned players, Joseph Akpalla was in that team(infact he missed 2 clear cut chances), Ogbona Okemiri was in that Insurance and others. After that particular match, Insurance was sanctioned by the NPL led by Obaseki because Pillars players and the referrers were beating because Insurance didn't win the match.
So when I'm talking, I'm talking out of experience. Majority of the players that played for Insurance and later played for the SE during that era, I know all of them...

Nor be here all of us they when old men like Chrisantus Macaulay, Ganiyu Oseni, Kingsley Udoh, Fortune Chukwudi, etc played for Nigeria age grade teams?

Not even full strength SE. Switzerland can't beat the SE team that played the Unity Cup or the Portugal game. They are so uncoordinated, misplaced passes, misses a lot of chances and loses concentration whenever they are in the opponent half.

Watching this Moroccan team and how their FB has contributed to the technicalities of their play, I just wished players like Eze and Olise choose to play for Nigeria.

We struggle when we meet teams with a strong midfield. Showed against morocco, portugal Dr congo. We need better midfielders who can cope with strong midfields like that. Dr congo too physical and intensive, morocco too tactical, portugal too skillful and technical. We should try onuche ogbelu in midfield. Other natural midfielders. We need natural midfielders. I know the issue football starts and ends in the top 5 leagues of Europe so it's stupid to look there. Anyway we should just get midfielders anyhow. There is the one a guy in Germany and other foreign born. Also Ebenezer akinsanmiro and I hope victor eletu gets his club career going. Iwobi simply gets ineffective and arrested when he meets a mature midfield.

Aside Uche, there is no midfielder currently not in the NT that will do better than the ones already in the NT. Uche is imposing, can shoot and also technical and I pray he regains his form this season.
Ogbelu that has left Tunisia to Tanzania or so? He is not even better than Ayobami Junior or the Ikorodu United guy that came in against Zimbabwe in the last Unity Cup. There is nothing Elutu, Akinsanmiro would offer to the SE that Nnadi, Onyeka and Iwobi aren't offering already.

I don't think Ajayi was very poor, rather I feel it was just his normal way of defending. Aside being good aerially, to me he doesn't have any other qualities as a defender. I will pick Fernandez, Nwaiwu and Fredrick over Ajayi in the SE CB position.
That said, I don't think Chelle removed Ajayi in that match because he was playing badly, rather to test new formation and that's why Bruno a left footed was moved to the CB to pair Bassey, another left footed when Fernandez was on the bench

No, Alexi Sanchez isn't part of Chile squad anymore. For most of the match between Portugal and Chile, Portugal had 80% possession. At a time the possession was 87-17%. That should tell you how dominant Portugal is right now.
For Chukwueze, I have since wrote off that one, same way I wrote off Onyedika. I pray Zadok succeed at Brighton so that him and Azeez can takeover Chukwueze position

I don't know why this is so hard for these people to grasp, the absence of one or two top level players significantly affects the dynamics of a game...if we had Felix Agu, Aina, Nwabali, Osimhen, Lookman, Benjamin, Nwaiwu and even Femi Azeez...our odds of converting those chances Akor, Chukwueze and Moffi missed would have been higher. The presence of these aforementioned players would have made that game more cagey and competitive...the fact that we didn't field our best backline (Akpan was too green, Zaidu is not good enough to be our starting LB, Ajayi was rusty and is behind Benjamin and Fernandez in the order now) yet limited a world class Portuguese attack to shots outside of our box actually shows we did better than expected.

No need for all these plenty names.
Just Osimhen and Lookman in attack would have unsettled their defence and Aina or Osayi in RB would have added to our defensive and offensive player.
I was watching the friendly match between Argentina and Iceland... Argentina were just a normal team but immediately Messi was brought in, they started playing like a world cup winning team. That's how a single Player can have effect in his team play
