Against Mexico with a man down, going defensive is justified. The true measure of the game against Argentina was before the goal was scored. After the goal England's possession was 12%. Not even Ghana registered that low level of possession and you say that is not self sabotage but due to Argentina's fight?

We will see how much they can fight today. They will suffer. They will lose. They will cryyy.
Even if Argentina lose tonight, they won't cry, rather they would embrace the Spanish because they are friends. Same way we the fans won't cry. We are watching today's match with open minds. Na Ronaldo fans they cry for us and Argentina 🤓

Argentina did not out muscle the English. Taaa.

Tuchel gave that game away with his ridiculous ultra defensive approach after England scored. Argentina was there for the taking.

Let them come out gun blazing against Spain and see if this will not be Spain's easiest match in this final
Firstly, no country can easily beat Argentina.
Secondly, Tuchel didn't gave the match away, his tactics didn't just worked with Argentina because Argentina are fighters, they fight to the end.
Tuchel used same tactics against Mexico and they ended up winning even with a man down.
Tuchel would use same tactics against 90% of countries and these countries won't comeback like Argentina did. So, we should give Argentina their flowers.
Lastly, a midfield combination of Enzo, Mac Allister and Parades/De Paul are better than the French midfielders that played against Spain. So, even the midfield battle won't be easy for Spain today.
Whoever wins today, We Barcelona and Messi fans will celebrate 🥂

The little edge they have over Argentina is their midfield led by Rodri.
The only way they can win is if they score late above 80 minutes.
Spain have better midfielders and are superior in midfield but I really think if Argentina adopt the same playing style they did against England, they may not give Spain much domination in the midfield. Mac Allister, Enzo, Parades and De Paul are tireless runners and can tackle the whole Spanish midfielders for full 90mins without gassing out

The way people are hyping up this Spanish team online. Lol. I hope we won't be in for a rude awakening tonight.
They are even trying to emotionally manipulate the Argentine not to play physically against Spain, even the Spanish are guilty of this. They fear how the Argentine out muscled the English from the blast of the whistle and Spain knows the only way they can beat the Argentine today is if Argentina sees and play them like friends. The Argentine should come all out blazing and out muscled them and let's see if the Spanish players can last 60mins on the pitch.

Sani Suleiman got his first minutes for RB Leipzig in their pre-season friendly this afternoon.

He represented Nigeria at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
I pray for this guy to succeed, also Tyron George should switch to Nigeria so that we can finally do away with Moses Simon. EPA make nor still Sabi cross ball for 2026

Nwabali made a serious mistake by leaving in the first place with no concrete offer, let's hope that Chippa's management team will still be professional enough to play him, otherwise na super eagles go dey suffer the inconsistencies of his form.
Nwabali is good and has done well for the SE but if he is club less or not playing regularly upon returning to Chippa, he will lose his starting shirt at the SE to Okoye or Okonkwo

To put Nwabali situation into easy understanding, Nwabali allowed the little success he had achieved with the SE got into him and started rating himself too high. Such thought made him feel if he leaves Chippa, even Man U would come for him. But he was shocked when no team bigger than Chippa all over the world came for him after leaving Chippa without an alternative already on ground. He had to return to his vomit

If Messi wins the 2 world cup in a row and breaks the 64 years record, we feast, squeeze, fry and roast Ronaldo. grin grin
Exactly, Argentina should beat England and whoever wins between Argentina and Spain, it's gonna be victory for us

I'd rather Portugal won the world cup than have England go to the final to stand a chance of winning it. I can't stand the crap that would be dished out by the English media for the next decade if England wins.

Argentina is my pick to face Spain in the final. Whoever wins between Argentina and Spain in the final is okay with me.
God forbid bad thing Portugal wins the WC. They can do it after Ronaldo has retired from the national team. Atleast most of us wholeheartedly loved Portugal during the days of Figo, Rui Costa, Postigal, Simao sabrosa, etc, until Ronaldo came into the pic and started comparing himself to Messi.
Instead of Portugal with Ronaldo to win the WC, Ghana better wins it
SportsRe: 2026 World Cup: Mbappe Not On Same Level With Ronaldo, Messi by Sugarboyy(m): 11:43pm On Jul 14
0Brien:
Messi and Ronaldo are the past. They both belong to a fading football generation. Just like Maradona and Pele of football history

Mbappe and Lamin are the present new generation of shining stars still making their imprints

No need for competition; they're just different generation
Someone that's in the past is still dragging both golden boot and ball with the so called present footballers and might win the next Ballon d Or if Argentina wins the WC. It's only Ronaldo that's in the past and alot of football fans all over the world would still pick Messi ahead of these present stars till he retires

Mbape is a good goal scorer.

That just the way it is.

Nothing more you can add to it

Messi Ronaldo were miracle workers in their prime
He can surpass Ronaldo in some goal scoring statistics but he can never near Messi in any ramifications because as always, Messi brings and guarantee more than goals but Ronaldo and Mbappe doesn't

Must be Lagos.
Agents in other states don't stress like that.
You haven't been to Edo State.
Over here, you would pay inspection fee between 5-10k and when it's time to go and inspect the apartment, you are expected to pay mobility for the agent.
Then, you are expected to go through rigorous interview by the landlord or lawyer and also provide a valid means of identification, including ID of your work place.
Finally, you are expected to pay 10% of the yearly rent as legal fee, 20% as agency fee, caution fee of between 100-200k and lastly utilities fee (gateman, dirty)

Okay bro let's see how it goes but I do not envisage an all-europe final.

My pick is Argentina ahead of England.

Sentimentally, I fancy Spain over France.
It's not really sentiment. If there is any team at this WC that can beat France, it's definitely Spain. Lets see how France would fair playing against Spain with better midfielders as individuals and as a group. It's gonna be a midfield of Rodri, Pedri, Olmo, Ruiz, Merino and Gavi vs Kone, Rabiot and Olise.

Another thing nobody has talked about at this WC, Cubarsi has been a beast and his pairing with Laporte has led to just a goal been conceded

Instead of the SE to have a seaport even though the region is erosion and land locked, all the SS states would have it.
They should continue to support their olodo Obi
You all should expect bloc votes for Tinubu from all SS states in 2031 because 2027 is already settled

They look so clueless. It's obvious the comebacks against Cape Verde and Egypt definitely took a toll on them. They're exhausted.

Honestly, I'm just happy that Messi has performed well at this World Cup. As for Argentina as a team, they're just so poor.
Yeah, they have been poor and hardly dominate team but I still feel with the right formation and tactics, players to players, they can hold their own against any other countries. Lisandro Martinez and Romero are beast, goalkeeper Martinez is one of the best in the world, Mac Allister and Enzo are above average, Striker Martinez and Alvarez are some of the best strikers in the world. On the bench, they are another beast in Otamendi, Sensei, Barco, Paz, Le Celso, etc are good, Someone is decent, etc. I just feel it's the coach setup and tactics that has been limiting them at this WC
