It has been discovered that Nigerians are always topping their classes in Western universities and colleges, and also contributing immensely in the private sector, creating a positive narrative about the impacts of Nigerians and opening a thread of demand for young professionals of Nigerian origin in multinational organizations and corporate industries.

The system of education in Europe is one of the reasons the graduates are globally competitive, having exposed to corporate required skills, environment to grow, practical experiments, digital literacy, internship, psychometric test, opportunities for development and curriculum rooted in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The Nigerian elites and politicians are aware about these, that's why majority of them do everything in their power to send their sons and daughters to Europe for College, University education and other Technology driven institutes.

The ancient kingdom of owo is a local government area in Ondo state, Nigeria. Between 1400 and 1600 C.E, it was the capital of a Yoruba city-state.
The first Olowo of Owo was the direct descendant of oduduwa, known as the father of the Yorubas. The current Olowo of Owo is His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, who is also the 32nd paramount ruler of Owo.

The history of Igogo festival:
This is an annual festival which takes place in Owo. It lasts a total of seventeen days and features a number of ceremonies, including the blessing and introduction of new yams. The festival is in commemoration of the king's wife who turned into a tree while being pursued by the king's slave to return to the palace after her rival violated her taboos in her presence.

During the period of celebration, drums are banned in Owo and metalgongs (agogo) are used instead; this is where "Igogo" was derived. The Olowo, who dresses in coral beaded gown during the period, plaits his hair like a woman. The aim of the festival is to encourage greater involvement of the youths of the community into their cultural norm.

This year edition of the festival witness tourists from outside Nigeria and other media brands in diaspora storming the ancient city to participate and celebrate the cultural richness of owo kingdom.
