Methink it is actually a frantic face-saving diplomatic call by US and the west to reach out to strategic African leaders who were not physically present at the Russia-Africa summit currently holding in Russia. That summit is giving the west chills and they are throwing everything including the kitchen sink at it to undermine Russia. That Nigeria, SA were there is a huge concern to them.

In my opinion, the Niger issue is not particularly their concern, that's French fries because they are very far from Niger Nigeria remains the most strategic ally to both sides yet Nigeria is not alligned to either side. Thank you too I learned a long time ago that thoughts do become things. It takes way too much energy to be bitter and negative abeg. But then again our life experiences can cause the kind of energy we exude or is it our reaction and personal attitudes to those experiences?



Fear not I am in a better mood today! We all have our moments of 5 minutes madness and I was seeing red yesterday because this is how people set you up for trolls and bullies on this forum, by peddling lies and false statements about you. You ignore them once or twice and they keep it up, it was necessary to set this one straight. I hope you realize that these nasty comments are somewhat mutual. And when you say "go somewhere," you can't be so certain that those making those nasty comments online are actually "going to Lagos" or any part of yoruba land.

It's really funny how damaged Nigeria has become because of political desperation. Growing up, my Yoruba language was really bad. When I got into Uni, I found myself among Igbos. These guys spoke the best Yoruba I knew at that time because they live in Lagos. My point? People who don't want to blend with you won't learn your language in the first place.

Another point? The whole nasty attacks blew up only recently because they were sponsored by politicians. We all are witnesses to these events.

I hope the professional help you got for the passport was legit? Then again I hear that getting these passports outside Lagos State is usually much faster. A lot of folks want to get theirs from Lagos [Ikoyi, Ikeja, etc], because of the perceived prestige. A passport remains a passport regardless of where it is issued.

Bureaucracy and inneficiencies are indeed impediments to the rapid evolution of Nigeria.
