Sounds good. I will make more findings. When are you travelling? Mami1: Nova Scotia is my last stop. I will reschedule my reconnecting flight to Nova Scotia when I land in Montreal by God's grace.
I dont know how this option works o, but I am quite positive that it would work. |

Thank you for this. Is Montreal your last stop? I will be stopping over in Montreal first, before going to St. John's after the mandatory quarantine. My question now is how do we go about the flight to St. John's after the quarantine? Do I have to reschedule the flight for after 3 days? Mami1: Hello House,
I have been able to convert my booking from booking.com to mandatory quarantine booking.
If you are going to Montreal, you can do same, book then call the property on +1 514-636-3391 to convert your booking to mandatory quarantine booking.
Very fast and easy.
This information is for COMFORT INN, Dorval, Montreal. 300CAD per night, total of 1102.59
Might not be the cheapest cheapest, but it is a very good deal compared to the stress and money for other hotels. |

Congratulations on bagging a scholarship.
1. Is the scholarship for undergraduate in MUN.
2. Did you apply for it?
3. Pls can you give more details on how you got t scholarship.
Thanks in advance I got funding from my graduate supervisor. During our first interview, before he accepted to be my supervisor, he asked if I needed funding; I said yes, and he granted me 17,500cad every year. If you get an meeting with a potential supervisor, please try to ask if he has funding in case he/she doesn’t mention it. It will all end in praise, Amen. |

deommanuel: Good Afternoon Everyone.
I've got a friend traveling to MUN this evening. He doesn't have his enrollment letter yet, and his friend traveling today too was sent back this morning because he couldn't provide it.
How can he get the enrollment letter?
I await your responses.
Please Treat as Urgent Any update? Has he received the enrollment letter? Just for information, my enrollment letter was sent to my mail as part of the quarantine plan I received from MUN. Your friend can check the mail again just to confirm if it was sent to his. The enrollment letter given to me for travel is different from the one I got when I applied from the portal. |

If you need to call like 3/4 times a day, please do.
You will get your passport soon hang in there. |

I really need to know how you went about getting it. I am in the same dilemma right now. Thanks. davo99: Update on this Finally got the passport after little drama..lol.
So here's confirming that 2-WAY COURIER TO ABUJA seems way better than Lagos. So @insanity's experience was likely unique to him.
Would drop an end-to-end detailing of my experience asap.
Thank you so so so so so much to the awesome guys helping everyone out on this platform, I really appreciate you, and I pray you meet helpers all along. Can't wait to see the next set of approvals, and I pray it comes quicker than expected, everyone here go move las las. |

Salientjoe: Hi Summe, I answered the first question on the Living in Canada thread. Regarding the second question, it took less than 10days despite the Christmas and boxing holidays. IRCC workload concerning passport processing seems to be at the low and I observed processing at their office takes 3 working days or less currently. If your courier guys and vfs do well, you may even get it in 7days I am looking through kijiji.ca for a shared apartment not far from MUN. Hopefully, my passport comes back in 7 days! |

Salientjoe: Good evening house,
I am trying to fill the arrival form for Memorial University as I intend to travel around 29-31st of January. I noticed it is essential to have an accommodation to move into after the isolation period.
Kindly help if you're at the St. John campus and you have a shared apartment available, or you are going there and hoping to share. I'm on a tight budget of 300cad-400cad.
Thanks Regards I just sent my passport yesterday, but I saw on mun website that new international students must self isolate on campus residence, have you tried reaching out to the internalization office? Also, how long did it take for you to receive your passport? |
