And how many Niger Deltans are willing to lose their lives in a senseless war just for the benefits of the politicans and militants? The transformation agenda of GEJ transformed the pockets of only the militants and the politicians in Niger Delta. The average man on the streets of Warri. Yenegoa, PH, Uyo, and Calabar has not yet experienced GEJ's much touted transformation agenda. The region is still the same, despite having one of her own as the president. The militants should not fool outsiders. They are planning to go to war to protect their juicy contracts, not to protect the interest of the region. If they have the interest of the south south at heart, they would have pressured GEJ to develop the region, not collecting billions that would have been used to build infrastructures in the Niger Delta in the name of amnesty.
