For those who asked for updates. My Redmi 5 plus displaying glo 4g is still live in Ibadan, bodija area.

I guess glo has increased their bands

not yet in lagos though

I will advice to unlock it... Cos i have see an issue where OTA did not allow the phone to boot again......

In short when u unlock bootloader, your phone is easily fix when it has any problem

dont advice him about bootloader person wey just buy phone

Hello house, I saw something strange today. 4G appeared on my network today. I use redmi 5 plus which doesn't support glo 4g and I have never seen glo 4g until now. Does it mean glo has increased their bands? Who else experienced this?

mayb they av increased their bands i use 5plus too, but i av not notice such mayb because of my area, are u in lagos
