Shopping may seem good for buyers but for every Shoprite there are thousands of micro and small business lossers that have lost customers and their means of livelihood to Shoprite. Aside from the comfort it provide to shoppers, it's a bad omen for Nigeria, especially with the fact that it is a foreign entity. Shoprite is :crying now because it's probably having problem moving its funds out of Nigeria because of dollar crunch. A local entity wouldn't face that especially if most of the products are local. Nigerians are slackers who have to wait for a foreign own retailer to shop comfortably. What does it take to run a retail business as that?

How has intentional investestors helped an average Nigerian? How has Nigerian invested internationally? Maybe by collecting loan from Chinese to building railways in Nigeria is the ultimate investment? Or Nigerians should build their capacity to invest in their own hubs. International investment is the language or slangs of politicians to deceiving those who want to be gullibled.

Shop rite decided to leave Nigerian because of declined in sales. Somebody needs to wake up...no money no friend.

The theory was a section of the blast furnace must work 24/7 non stop,then is that mountain too high to climb? Can't they power it by solar or windmill,since coal is non economically viable.

I'm beginning to think Nigerian politicians are lazy & slow in reasoning.

I said it many times,why not develop the ajaokuta steel complex to full capacity & functionality. Yet they went importing stones in the name of iron which is readily & abundantly available in Nigeria.

Always putting the cat before the horse in the context of infrastructural development.

Anyway I blame the erroneous constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria which give room for individual excesses.If not why will a politician part with so much money in the spate of four years through budget padding etc & their cohorts in MDA's reaping little in 35yrs of service while helping the national assembly with so much fund to siphon.
