What am I saying in essence? Whoever holds the cash is king. The food the North brings down south is paid for by the consumers and not free. If the North decides not to bring their agricultural products down south, their farmers will be the ones to suffer, the south with their money can import from any other country the so wish. Like I pointed out above, most agricultural products are cheaper imported from outside Nigeria but are protected by Nigeria government either banning their importation or imposing heavy tariff.

So, the claim that the North feeds Nigeria is hogwash as people pay for their agricultural products but the North receives oil money for free. Try another spin abokai na.

Bros, the choice is yours to make as people relocate for different reasons. If you were to ask me though, I'd ask you to stay back and build your career. 400k - 500k in Nigeria is not beans and at your age, you have enormous prospect. Foreign degrees no longer enjoy the edge they used to enjoy over Nigerian degrees now, there are thousands with foreign degrees in Nigeria not able to secure a job.

If your intent is career growth, stay in Nigeria and build. When you qualify for study leave, you can take a study leave from your company and go get a foreign degree if you so crave for it and use that time to study the environment if it'd favour you. That way, you can go back to your job if you find out Nigeria is better for you after weighing options but if your intent is to relocate to a more stable country where you can give your family a more decent life and secured future irrespective of the opportunity cost to you, you can relocate. I've seen senior bankers resign and relocate their families to UK, doing menial jobs just because they want their children to have a better future.
