As the recent Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) scandal continues to fester, a group has warned Nigerians to desist from blackmailing the minister of state for petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu.

The group, Accountability Vanguard said the attempt by the NNPC and some Nigerians to blackmail Kachikwu is condemnable.

The group also said the NNPC has only failed to address the issues raised by the minister in his protest letter to President Muhammadu Buhari.

There has also been criticism of President Buhari's appointments being one-sided. The Facebook page named 'APC News TV' has attempted to debunk this rumor.

The Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, who briefed State House Correspondents alongside his Labour and Productivity counterpart, Chris Ngige, said this was the decision of the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.

Very disgraceful attitude from perceived educated persons. Even the schools didn't officially confirm what exactly was happening before spreading ridiculous statements.
