@ all, what could be the cause of this problem,
I installed Eutelsat W3 this evening, I got 11192 v 03210 that MBC 1 and 3 @ 65%, then 10976 v 3333 (i.e)tv madagascar 88%, then 12728v30000 which is tv zimbo and Rts refuse to pop out green, and the red keep fluctuating as if the Lnbf is not bad but other frequencies are green. When I check with another decoder, the 12728 v 30000 freq turns green but mine remains red both Vertical and horizontal, what could cause this magic

I would like to agree with Ilish. It also took me over 6months and I also had to go through many pages just to know what has been said and where. Even before posting one shud check whether what he wants to say has been tackled already or not. People just read the last post and then post their views (others even do so in a wrong section!). Others ask questions already answered 3 or 4 times already. Lets do a bit of research!

@ Pidzo, I am not a small boy in this forum, I have spent many years here online contibuting and assisting fellow Nairaland to best of my knowledge without been selfish,so when you are not willing to assist your same jungle brother,you will better get your hands off the keyboard than posting unneccesary things as if you were born and bred in satellite, better know that you don't know everything about because assuming you knew much, you would'nt have registered,most times one may not go that far in checking already posted reply

Please, help out here!
A friend just got a 4669ii here. I helped him installed Astr2b and Sirius 4a for him, then linked both dishes to the decoder using a disecq switch. The problem is that, no matter the ports I used for the two dishes and even after changing from one disecq to another the result is that when I change from the astra2b tps to the Sirius4a tp, the channels on the Sirius tp will play. But when I swing back to the astra2b tp, all the channels on it go red. If I turn of the decoder the  and turn it back on while the last channel watched was on the astra2b tp, all the channels will show. Please, what really is going on here and how can it be remedied? The software from system info is the January 2011 version for MYTV ME. Waiting for your intervention.

@ lovala, sorry for the late reply to your question, I want you to know that your problem might be DISEQC switch configuration, confirm if the ports are working properly, then go to your Menu,Dish setting,then open your Diseqc switch,below it, Go to Committed and also assign a number to Uncommitted, then do the same to another satellite, hope this help

You can installed DSTV 1st, then attach another LNBF on top of the DSTV to track MultiTV, I have done it for more than 3 times just like that, the day I tried it for the first time, I installed multiTV first before tracking DSTV but it wasn't successful until I installed Dstv followed by attaching multitv on top

@ all Guru in da forum, there is this guy that came to my area and installed one type of strange network that I have never came across with a different decoder that is not Strong at, the name of the Decoder is HAWK DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER.HA-70, And another one is EAGLE DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER. EG2325, pls can someone tell me how these work if you have comes across this installation

To track MBC 3 is now a problem for me, I am just frustrated for 2 hours I have tracking without improvement

Rescan your decoder with 11842v27500,some  channels are free since last nite, that's if you are on eutel W4

@ all, if you are using 4669x decorder and a dish focusing at 37' degree east, that W4, rescan to receive ITV, CH-10,EATv,Trace urban, Jctv, TBN and lots more even with 60 cm S pan or input this Freq 12284H27500, dubai sports + and planete are arabic and french, so I deleted the frequency

There's no secret behind it.
Just a smart guy that uses his intellect.
He connects to several satellites with a big dish and then loops(hope thats the correct word) it to his customers.
Most of the channels are from nilesat,dstv and other fta satellites.
You pay #5000 for connection and #500 or #1000 monthly.
The price depends on the provider.
Its more like a cheap nilesat without hassles of looking for space,money and other problems connected with having a big dish.
Remember next time when you want to ask a question, direct the question to everybody cos there are so many of us who still know minor things like this.

@ cantell,for answering or attempting to put me thru with my question or observation makes you a guru too, yes i know he loop from other satellite by using strong decoder,but how is it done by changing channels direct from television instead of decoder because the house i slept has three television and you can watch any channel you want without interrupting a programme that the next door room is watching,is there any software he installed on the tv,or is there any tv that can be configured for that,
