me07: Firstly, thanks for this useful thread. i did the procedures perfectly but i cant get any file in the dialog box when i click "click to prepare rom for flash tool" and i keep getting errors in SP tool.

Sorry for the late reply. When you click prepare rom, just locate where your mtk droid tool folder is, open it, open backup, then open oppsonxxxxxxx folder and click Firmware file there. Make sure you have 3gig space on the memory card before backuping. Good luck

my cars are not rated in mph but km/h.
the best i sprinted to 100km/h from zero was 11.2s, 2.0l BMW 320i.
official stats stated 9.8s. Other factors like tyre condition, road surface, temperature etc may not have been right at the time I tested it.
but I did 0-100km/h in my 323ci in 7.6s, using a stopwatch...maybe not too accurate but it was the best accuracy level i arrived.

0-100 km in 7.6s is outstanding, considering the factors we have at hand here. Did you watch top gear USA of recent? Mehn! I will wish my hands can be laid on that Veron

I found this interesting every time a car is rated. So I said to my self, let me try also with our local cars here, and What I got was 9 seconds. Then I concluded that it's not bad, since bugatti Veron is 2.5 seconds.
So is anybody curious here and also tried it, if so let's share the fun.
