PoliticsRe: President Jonathan's Convoy Stoned In Yola During Campaign - BBC by Super1759: 5:54pm On Jan 29, 2015
Dear Compatriots, vote according to the dictates of your conscience. Don't be manipulated. If your pastor says 'don't vote for a Muslim', ask him if Daniel served a saint; whether Modeccai did not serve King Ahaseurus and if Joseph was not a prime Minister under Pharaoh.

This election is not about North versus South, nor is it about Christian versus Muslim. It is about Nigeria and good governance.

Don't allow politicians divide us. When they share money, they don't talk about religion. When they want donations from Aliko Dangote, they don't remember he is a Muslim. When they enter an aircraft, they don't ask the religious faith of the pilot. When their bosses are atheists, they don't resign from the job. When an Alhaji gives them contracts, they don't reject it. They and their wives go to Dubai to spend money. Dubai is in United Arab Emirate but they have no problems buying houses in Dubai. But when it comes to politics back home, they say they want to "ISLAMIZE" you. Yet, some of these people were spiritual consultants to Abacha.

Vote your conscience. If you want to vote for Jonathan, vote for him based on your conviction that he has performed in your estimation and not because he is a "Christian".

If you want to vote for Buhari, vote for him because you feel disenchanted with Jonathan's government, not because he is a Muslim.

Say NO to bigotry. God bless Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: A Closer Look At The Buhari Aressts by Super1759: 8:44am On Jan 18, 2015
coolscott:
Fellow Nigerians,
1. Buhari killed Ben ogedengbe by a death penalty for a crime that didn't carry death penalty when he committed it.

2. Buhari doesn't attend the Federal Council meetings yet collects his allowances. Mr. Integrity indeed.

3. Buhari canceled former Governor Jakande's metroline and forfeited the $50 million paid for it by the then Lagos State Government

4 Buhari used Violence to stop the September 1985 National Conference of the National AssociatIon of Nigeria Students.

5. Buhari jailed Tai Solarin and denied him his asthma drugs simply because he campaigned against military rule and for democracy.

6. Buhari Jailed Nduka irabor and Tunde Thompson for writing a truthful report which embarrassed his Government

7. Buhari raided respected Papa Awolowo's house and seized his passport so he couldn't travel out of the country. Was he also corrupt?

8.Buhari threw Former vice President Alex Ekweme in jail even though it was proven that Ekweme never stole any money.

9. He jailed honest and respected pa Adekunle Ajasin.

10. He jailed Fela Kuti in I984 for singing against the dictatorial tendencies of his Military Government

11 Doctors, remember that Buhari banned the Nigeria medical Association (NMA)

12. Buhari stopped Ooni of Ife for traveling abroad simply because he visited the holy land of Israel in 1984

13. He broke up press conference of ASSU in 1984 and detained four of their executives

14 He jailed Beko Ransome Kuti who only demanded for the release of his brother.

15 He jailed Dr. Sam Onunaka Mbakwe.

16 He jailed Awwal Ibrahim now the Emir of Niger State before IBB pushed him aside.

Nigerians must be careful with what they wish for!

Please share this post to keep Nigeria democratic and free from oppression.

Abagworo:
Fidelity Finances Africa’s Largest
Aluminium Can Factory In Aba, Abia
State

FIDELITY Bank Plc has said that it is financing the multi-
million naira aluminium can project in Aba, South East
Nigeria. The factory which will be ready in a couple of
months’ time will take off with an initial production capacity
of 1.2 billion cans per annum.
This clearly surpasses the Agbara Can Manufacturing Factory
that took off with an initial production capacity of 600
million cans per year, thus making the new plant the largest
aluminum can factory in Africa.
Managing Director and Chief Executive, Fidelity Bank Plc,
Mr.Reginald Ihejiahi who made the disclosure to journalists,
at the weekend in Lagos, explained that the financing options
adopted by the bank were largely driven by its commitment
and faith in the development of the Nigerian economy.
According to him,“We are a bank operating in an emerging
market and we believe that the industrial sector remains the
heart of banking in such markets.”
Ihejiahi, whose bank also financed a similar project in
Agbara, Ogun State, further explained that as an institution
in business purely for commercial reasons, the bank is
mandated to report to its shareholders. This,he said, implies
that the bank should have steady streams of income at the
end of the year, and therefore, should carefully select the
projects it would sponsor at any given time, as part of its
commitment to the development of the economy. Said
he,“When we opened the Agbara Can manufacturing factory
which was commissioned by President Goodluck Jonathan in
2010, it started with 600million cans per annum. However,
the Aba Can manufacturing company which is nearing
completion will take off from the first day with 1.2billion
production capacity and we believe that with this pace
Nigeria will soon be self-sufficient in aluminum can
production.”
Ihejiahi explained that the facility offers enormous
opportunity for job creation and other economic benefits to
the citizens of the country. The Aba Can factory is expected
to service the breweries and beverage companies in the
South East and South South parts of the country, and by
extension other parts of Nigeria. “We are also not ruling out
export opportunities to West African and other African
countries because of the size of the factory,he further stated.
Meanwhile South African Breweries has just opened a
brewery in Onitsha and the market is quite large. They are
expected to be a major beneficiary of the aluminum can
project.

I was in a taxi going to rumuola in ph when the result was called over the radio. right in that taxi we had 2 guys, they are pdp guys with their created shirts and caps. one turned to another and confessed to another that they will be in trouble if wike wins election. nobody uses tugs like wike.

those of you saying wike is love and good etc. please shut your traps.

how did wike come to lime light? was he not chairman of drivers association- agboro. go to obiakpor and ask about him and his men all driver association.
please which school did wike graduate from and what has he done so far with the office he has in Rivers.

Wike uses the drivers and conductors to carry out any destruction... remember he backed amaechi to enter the seat before things fell apart.

my problem is amaechi's big mouth and fighting gej. if not wike is as good ad a crook.
I weep for river state if he climbs that seat.

only if we can be sincere to ourselves.
