PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Government Should Create Ministry Of Lagos Affairs – Legislator by Super1Star: 5:13pm On Apr 15, 2015
There are 2 alternatives:

1. Create the Min of Lagos Affairs because all Nigerian ethnicities are present there, causing over population and depopulating some states and Lagos is spending more to maintain its infrastructures due to pressure caused by the over population, while the depopulated states are not compensating Lagos.

2. There should be a policy and political will to send people back to their states to reduce the pressure on Lagos infrastructures. Especially people that do not have any business being Lagos that are constituting nuisance. With this, the Min will not be required and Lagos fund will be sufficient enough to provide and maintain its infrastructures.

This is news to me that the Yorubas chased out Babangida and Yar'Adua, what did your people do exactly? I also noticed you're taking credit for Abacha's death, please explain.
Do an excursion to Minna and Kano, to make enquiries.

I never mentioned that gentleman of blessed memory -- Yar Adua.

Why don't you leave us to deal with that, Fulanis and Hausas are ganging up against your people as we speak.

They have learnt to respect us and see us as partners in progress, unlike you they are still pissing and spitting on. grin grin

The SS cannot be part of the Equation anymore. Because they will still be the minority in your *barcanista* proposals and they know it. You want to unite when Evans Enwerem was removed by late Okadigbo, when Abia state can sack all the civil servants of IMO origin from its work force? Even MASSOB is presently divided..... The list is endless. Sorry, Your Abracadabra will not work @ OP.
The best the union can achieve, as demonstrated in the last 6years, is the gang up of the alliance of Igbos and Ijaws against the other minorities in SS.

Who cares about any union?

One of the union should just not run back to Nigeria one more time for help against its domineering partner.

It was still never the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They were basically centers of administration of those white thugs.
What makes a capital one if not being the centre of administration?

Lokoja and Calabar are capitals of Northern and Southern protectorates, therefore they are in the league of Abuja and Lagos, I'm as much as the functional units of Nigeria are embedded in the amalgamated protectorates.

Calabar was never the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Was the capital of southern protectorate, just like Lokoja was for the northern protectorate.

They are former capitals in their own right, because the amalgamation of the 2 protectorates formed what is called Nigeria.

She has said nothing but placate her husband's people. Did the she goat ask about how all those Lagos developments came about. The finance and the manpower?

If it is yorubaland, let them develop it with their own resources. Why come down to South East and beg for oil?
Which part of SE has oil? Abia - the one that was stolen from Rivers.

After SS states, Ondo is the next highest producer with major reserves off the coast of Lagos and Ogun. Deal with that.

There is no question about my people being very resourceful and productive, but we lack political leadership. We may have astute political players, but there is no mentoring, no structure and therefore no political future. The maximum we can achieve politically is that others will concede to us, but not what we deserve by virtue of strategic thinking and alliance.
This is the key lesson of the write up.

Who are the everybody?

How are we related to Igbos?

Is Lagos not part of land bequeathed to our generations by our ancestors? Are all yoruba ancestors not from Oduduwa? Is Tinubu not a descendant of Oduduwa? Being a descendant of Oduduwa, Tinubu has a right on any yorubaland, likewise myself?

PoliticsRe: Lagos And Igbo by Super1Star: 8:28pm On Apr 13, 2015
Lol.

This is a lecture based on facts and figures.

What we keep hearing from them are --- ''we are 101% population of Lagos'', 'we own 200% buildings in Lagos and Abuja'' ''we are rich and others are poor'' '' we are hardworking and others are lazy'' '' we are clean and others are dirty'' '' we are educated and others are illiterates'' 'we are exposed and others are backward'' -- ask them for statistical data, facts and figures that their hypothesis and lies are based on, they will either run away or start blabbing.

Their uncles have so lied to them that they are already believing the lies as truth. We shall teach them, if their uncles and fathers refused to teach them properly. it is our eternal calling and we shall gladly and dutifully do it without seeking any payment whatsoever.

Igbos didn't make lagos kinda sound reasonable. but why hasn't lagos made the yorubas or hausas as it had made the igbos? ....any answer?
The fact remains the igbos have achieved so much for themselves. They might not have made Lagos . Nigeria made lagos and by extension provided the ground for the igbos...but wait there...why are othet tribes not making use of this same ground as the igbos have?...so what are we saying

The truth is the achievement of the igbos can only be attributed only to them.
They may not have made lagos, but they are currently making it...lekki, vgc, amuwo odofin, ...etc there are areas the make up over 85% of the residents.
We need facts and figures and not your make-me-feel-good tales by moonlight stories.

Is research on it too cerebral for you to do?

We have heard all sorts of statistical figures from your likes and you were shown who owns Lagos on Saturday.

despite its closeness to Lagos, ogun state is not even more economically viable than Abia and Anambra states

PoliticsRe: We Need Seaports In The SE/SS by Super1Star: 2:06pm On Apr 13, 2015
How do you want vessels to go to a place where there is an increasing cases of piracy.

Concessioning is a business decision and the onus lies on.the concessionaires to give the discount or incentives to ships to come to their port to offload and not the FG.
PoliticsRe: We Need Seaports In The SE/SS by Super1Star:
Which port is oil being lifted from? Is it the same Lagos again.

Why can't you be using the same port for your importation? Will it not reduce your cost?

The truth is most goods coming through Lagos, maybe because of the port, but definitely due to the higher percentage of middle income class in SW.

For every rich person you see in SW, you will see 7 middle income.class and 2 poor people.

The middle income class is the driver of any economy all over the world.

There must be a reason why obuaku, ibaka, calabar, onne and warri are not attractive. What stalled GEJ from assisting to.fix the problem in 6years?

I am also happy for the change even though my candidate lost, I see it as the will of God. No matter how we look at it, Jonathan takes responsibility for all the negligence & corruption that rubbished his government.

I can see a lot of sincerity in Buhari and I see a better future for Nigeria. cool
Let us all be hopeful and vigilant. We must put him on his toes and demand performance and good governance at all levels of government.

If he messes up, we will boot him out too.

Nice discussion.
