Instead of 6-3-3-4, NERDC changed it to 9-3-4 system. What it means is that there is no pry 6 certificate as least educational certificate again, rather, we now have junior secondary school certificate as the least recognised educational certificate from at I think 2 years ago.
This pertains to both public and private schools.

We have receive communications from some of you that you were unable to meet the deadline and that application portal has closed. Really sorry to learn this because of the time and energy you have put into this already.

 

In line with this, I have placed a call to GEM office this morning letting them know that none of you received direct email communication from GEM about the deadline and that the side information you got about the deadline was too short. The response I got was that it has been closed and it is quite unlikely that it will be reopened but however, it will be escalated to the right authority since you did not receive email from GEM of the programme coordinators.

Dear MSMEs,

 

Please disregard, the previous communication about the deadline for grant application being today midnight.

We did not want to take the risk of you losing out completely on the opportunity when we got the information. We tried to verify directly with GEM’s office yesterday but they had closed.

 

This morning we were able to clarify with them and we were told that the deadline does not apply to you all here.

 

The deadline for today 5pm is only for those are doing their disbursement documentation i.e those that are on track for receiving their grants.

 

For those of you on matching grant level who have started applying, please do not continue your application. Wait until you get to 100% score for performance grant.

Those who have reached the performance grant level and have commenced application, you can continue but take your time to put in a good application and do not be in a haste to click the submit button today.

 

We are very sorry if any of you in matching grant level has applied because of the previous communication.

 

Sorry for any incoveniences this might have caused.

Based on the information reaching us, application for grants will be ending by Midnight of Wednesday, 20th of February.

As such we advise that you quickly apply for your grants before the deadline.

 

Every MSME has crossed the matching grant level with only a few qualified to apply performance grant.

 

For those whose scores on the dashboard are below 100, you are qualified for matching grant application and those who have reached 100, you are qualified for the performance grant application.

 

Wherever your score is, please make sure to apply before the deadline.

We investigated your complaint and found out that you are under the Fast track 3 window. Given the closure date of March 29, 2019, the Project will not be able to carry out that intervention as the allocated time is very short to complete the entire process.
However, we will let you know if we have any update in that regard..

The Federal Ministry of Education has made arrangements for mid-term break for all the citadel of learnings nationwide to embark on mid-term break for the purpose of general elections coming up this month.
At the meeting with the Ministry of Education, it was agreed schools will have 2 “half term breaks” to cover both the presidential and gubernatorial elections:
First break from February 13th – February 18th. Classes resume on Tuesday, February 19th. Boarders return on the evening of February 18th.
. Second “half-term break” from February 28th – March 4th. Classes resume on Tuesday, March 5th. Boarders return on the evening of March 4th.

Good day, I want to register my company via the CAC online portal. However, the options there are too much and I can't find one which perfectly describes the type of company I want to register. I plan for the company to be a technology firm, involved in web and software based services and on ground activities such as constructions etc. The closest I can see is the software development, web design and intranet development. However, it doesn't entail possible on ground activities we would also need to work in. Thank you very much for your contribution.
