This is to inform the general public that the
Lagos State University(LASU) has released
her second batch admission list of
admitted aspirants into degree
programmes for the 2012/2013 academic
session.
According to the memo recieved by myschoolnews.tk,the second batch LASU Admission list for
the 2012/2013 session, as reported
contains only names of successfully
admitted second choice aspirants.
The list are in two sections, with one
containing the names of second choice
aspirants, admitted on merit, and the other
bearing catchment admitted students.

released 2012/2013 Post-UTME
Results.
The results are now available online
and can be checked for free.
Candidates who would like to check their

3. Enter your Jamb Registration Number in
the Space provided and click on "Continue".
Your result should be made available to you
thereafter. You are absolutely free to share
your results and discuss possible cut-off

Following the release of the post UTME
screening result of the Nnamdi Azikiwe
University, Awka and the successful
determination of the admission cut-off
marks, the university has just commenced
the 2012/2013 admission exercise.
Although the admission process is not
complete yet, students can monitor their
admission status in the university portal as
the process progresses.
As at the time of publishing this report, only
a fraction of the lists has been uploaded.

years back statistics has shown that most

to what most Federal Universities in Nigeria

Chancellor became a political appointment
rather than the responsibility of the
universities, Executive Secretary of the
National Universities Commission (NUC)
Professor Julius Okojie has said.
Okojie said this at s sensitization seminar
on the effects of corruption in the Nigerian
university system jointly organized by NUC
and Independent Corrupt Practices and
Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC)
in Abuja yesterday.
He said after Vice-chancellors became
political appointees during the military era,
quality of leadership declined as they were
not responsible to the university
community.

“Universities then lost focus in terms of
research and productivity that industries
lost confidence in us. The best brains did
not want to remain in the university
system,” he said.

Ilaro have released the list of candidates
who have been offered admission into the
Full-Time National Diploma programme of
the Institution for the 2012/2013 academic
session On their website, go to Admissions -
