DAY 1 OF TRYING TO MONETIZE MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND MAKE MY FIRST $1K ON YOUTUBE. This has always been something I have wanted to do. Now is the time to go all in. |
It's time for crypto , I will give it a try with just $20. I will be back here to start reading this thread from the beginning. So help me God, Amen. |
Thank you so much for spreading this message. It's left for men to listen and be on alert. |
Clipchamp... It's totally free but you have to use your PC (I believe so). |
ComeComing: I don't think Nigeria is accepted there, you need the address of any of those countries. |
Apogee14: I'm sorry, I couldn't help it .

I saw this thread while I was working but I decided to finish up first. And then I finished up, and wanted to read it first, do some exercise, and take my bath before responding... but you came from another angle. I expected a reasonable take and you delivered. But sir, don't you think that if a business monopolizes the market for too long, they become too powerful and large. Look at what Amazon is doing, even though competitors —aggregators and so on — have risen (just like you explained), they still control 70% of the market. If I had the financial capacity to write, publish, and promote my book through the other platforms, I certainly wouldn't be complaining. Because the rest of 30% is enough to build something tangible. Look at Facebook and the rest of these big corporations, they sell people's information knowing the consequences. But because they have become too powerful and large, they know they can always find a way. I don't use a lot of these social media platforms but I do know if Mark Zuckerberg's apps go down, it's going to greatly affect a lot of things. I don't want to say too much because you do have a valid point. Every businessman wants to monopolize his niche, even if he has to do it with different companies. If someone starts something and monopolizes for some time, others want to come in and take their share (e.g. POS, opay, etc). |
People always quick to criticize for no reason. I'm confused: are men the only people that are born in poverty? Are you saying women aren't born in poor families? If you were born in poverty like me, you would likely date someone from your "social class." This is simple math. And that's exactly what is happening in that photo you shared. If she doesn't stay with him, who would she stay with? Elon Musk? |
Double0h7: This is exactly what I observed but I decided to just close my eyes. In 2025, people still believe formal education makes them better than others. I understand her but what exactly was that for? |
Softmirror: I hate commenting on politics but stop this nonsense. What exactly are you defending? You know deep inside that these people don't care about us or Nigeria. By the way, his father was born in New York. His grandfather was the immigrant. Oh yes, his mother was too. So what's your point? |
ComeComing: Are you sure? Check your bank payment details, if there's nothing there, it will bounce back. Use grey.co app, watch YouTube videos to see how to use it. I don't use any tools. |
ComeComing: Yes it is, you will receive the money by 28 or 29. When did you create your KDP account? |
Don't worry, I know most people are lazy readers so I will be fast. So, I made one of my books (check profile) free and gave it away to just 10 people on Nairaland a few months ago. I know some stubborn people shared it with others, which is quite unfortunate. The book was brought down with my publishing account, after facing relentless terminations, I backed away from the platform to try my hands on other things. I sold it for over 30k naira but gave it for free to Nairalanders. I wanted to help, I knew what those laws were capable of, in the hands of an evil person. I saw how my sister suffered because of the laws in that book. I hope men would understand female psychology better and women would protect themselves One day, while researching and scrolling Amazon, with heavy thoughts and ideas in my bottomless mind, I came across a very badly edited and formatted book. It was sold around $29. I got curious and checked it out, lo and behold, it looked like a caricature of my work. It looked like someone pasted my book's content and asked ChatGPT to write a book off it. I wasn't mad because of that, I was offended on how awful the book was edited and formatted. I almost understood why Amazón blocks Nigerians. I angrily rewrote my book (the one on my profile), texted my friend, and we published it. I was never expecting anything, I just felt bad for allowing it gather dust because I was trying to keep the book from evil people. I even created multiple threads on Nairaland to run a cheap promo for the book but I kept getting banned. I wanted to give it away for just a 1000 naira. Well... It's been over 2 months now, and that book has made over N100k without ads, reviews, or even SEO. It's made way more than that, but I don't want to be exact. The money isn't mine until it's in my account, that's the KDP mindset these days. Even though Amazon blocked the next book in the series, I'm so grateful I took action. The book would have been on my shelf gathering dust or I would have given it away for free to people who do not understand its worth. Now, Europeans and Americans are queuing in, with hard currency to get a book I never bothered to advertise. Imagine what happens when I decide to advertise it aggressively? Even though I stopped publishing in the account because of Kdp madness, the book keeps selling from America to England to Sweden. In summary: I will pushing and pushing until I create something unforgettable. Thank you. |
ComeComing: These customers love free things, move to the next book. The only thing stopping me from publishing at least 3 books this week on Amazon is because they blocked my book. And they claim they are working on resolving the issue. Their stupid bot is just like the one on Nairaland. Once you master the business, make them pay. Price your book higher once you're sure you have a demanding market and a valuable book. |
, I will give it a try with just $20. I will be back here to start reading this thread from the beginning.
