I had not existed yet, I was much happier and in a state of nothingness but everything changed in 2002...

I've watched a couple of their videos on their YouTube channel. I also noticed how their grandkids all look "white" and it reminded me of how crazy genetics is.

I don't mean to be negative but I also gained more insights on how some nations and ancient civilizations went from one identity (language, skin color, religion, etc) to another.

I'm reading their comments and asking myself if I should laugh or just enjoy the show , they are saying Onitsha call other Igbos "nwa onye Igbo" while ignoring the fact that our present-day Igbo ethnicity is a recent creation. I'm not saying it didn't exist but its definition is not the same as 200 years ago.

Onitsha, Anioma, and other Igboid groups in present-day "Niger Delta" were under or paid tribute to the Benin empire for some time — it's literally obvious.

Even my clan which is far away from Onitsha is called "umuchime."

I will be starting my own Mandarin Youtube channel once I get to where I want to be on Duolingo. Plus I will join a Chinese dating site to start talking to some girls for speaking and listening practice. So it's a motivation for me to finish section 2 of Duolingo.

Nice. Keep up the learning. I have an idea for you, and it's also what I plan to do with my mandarin.

Start a YouTube channel where you only speak the language you are learning. The channel name will be in the language, not in English, nothing we be in English. On the channel, you will go to places and describe things in the language. You will keep your description as basic as possible to match your level of the language. So for example if you will go to a market to make a video, you can write a basic script like the example below:

1. Today I'm at Bolande market
2. This is a famous market here in Lagos
3. Lagos is the most populous city in Nigeria
4. At this market you can find almost anything
5. The prices here are cheaper than other places
6. Many of the goods here come from China, while some are locally made
7. I usually come here to buy goat meat

You get the idea. Write it in English, and then translate to your target audience and make sure the translation is correct.
Then go over it many times so you can flow better. You don't need to be perfect, so also learn how to say things like "I don't know how to say it in Korean", also ask your viewers to tell you how to say certain things in Korean in the comment section. Also ask them if they have a market like that in their country.

Let me know what you think about this idea that I'm sharing with you. Maybe the YouTube channel go get you one fine Korean babe!
