Teawhy2011: Hummm! What a pity! Most of the so-called Nigerian graduates don't know the difference between REFREE and GUTRANTOR. Nigerian educational system is really deteriorating Your failure to spell referee correctly is more pitiable because it's easier than knowing the difference between the two words. Don't be too quick to fire arrows. |

thexzy: All Applicants (including serving personnels) must get that letter of attestation of good character written for them by those guarantors that are to sign/stamp your LGA Attestation form. Thanks So in what unit will you claim to be? Or do you think the "to be completed by unit commander" is a mistake? It's not for all applicants sir. Take your time and read it well, if need be read between the lines. I'm still open to correction but I'll suggest you read it carefully again |

Good evening all, I went through the guidelines again and I feel the letter of good conduct/special attestation form doesn't have anything to do with us. It's for serving military personnels I.e airmen/airwomen that want to convert to officers hence the clause that says "it must be signed by their current unit commander"
I wish us all a nice week ahead. |

Mr olowozain, I appreciate the fact that you want to help but I strongly disagree with your views. Your referees may not be your guarantors. Noo criteria for referees, criteria clearly stated as to who your guarantor should be. However, thanks for your experience still. |

mikedimeji: I don't seems to understand the way they intend to go about this recruitment exercise. Zonal enlistment exercise will take place from 1-8 July 2017 which means there won't be any form of aptitude test. Mode of shortlisting candidates will be determined by them. From the last exercise I witnessed I just zero my mind on air force There is aptitude test during zonal enlistment period |

nnamdi1998: pilot officer is the lowest rank for commissioned officers! If you join through dssc or ssc you must be a pilot officer! You can check their website Baba i fail to agree. I don't think I need to look at their website. Pilot officer is the lowest rank in the airforce fine. You're a pilot officer when you go through the nda. Then you get promoted to the rank of flying officer within a year (I think 6 months to be precise). When you enter through short service, you're decorated as a flying officer on your pop. I'm not giving you hearsay. I've worked in the airforce before. |

nnamdi1998: pilot officer not flying officer! It is flying officer. Pilot officer is the starting level for regular(the ones that go to NDA) officers. |

KeDv: Hi all, please I need information from anyone versed in the recruitment/training exercise.
1. How long is the NAF DSSC training program?
2. Where would the training take place?
3. Are all professional discipline going to take part in similar training exercise?
3. Which NAF rank would you be given after the program and what's the probable starting salary?
4. Is there any likelyhood, for discipline like engineering, that further training would be done abroad? 1) Training is for 6 months 2) it usually takes place in GTC (ground training centre) kaduna. I don't know if it's susceptible to change 3) yeah, same physical training. I don't know if the dssc guys go for classes but I want to think they do, so that part maybe different. 4) flying officer b) about 180k 5) yeah. They go for courses abroad so if you're lucky to be picked or very outstanding. I hope this helps. |

It's not a scam.
That NAF doesn't print posters is false. They do print and they always put phone numbers on their posters.
It's very authentic.
With time, it'll appear on their site. |

If we say it's magnetic tape or gramophone or gramaphine The thing is what's the olderolder version of the said "magnetic tape" Because CDwon't crinkle if we're saying the answer is CD which makes magnetic tape the answer. I hope we get? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Sahara Group Graduate Program 2017 by supertonex(m): 4:04pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
Which of the images? Or are they the same? Tee2014: Well to the folks accusing me of not being a team player, this is for all of you. As tasking as it it is, i hope it helps us all in our job search.
Its a MAGNETIC TAPE, It is Thin and colorful(When exposed to light - a wide spectra of colors) What most of you used Kerosene to clean back in the days.
It held the thoughts of yesterday and today at that time, Magnetic tape revolutionized broadcast and recording.
It was used to playback video and audio(Multi Purpose) - It is Of pictures, of speeches, of words with lasting laughter
It was a key technology in early computer development, allowing unparalleled amounts of data to be mechanically created, stored for long periods, and to be rapidly accessed -That stays the same time and time again.
You can't destroy the data on it by just waving your hand over it, because of the fact that the magnetic side of most tapes is made of an oxide of iron, it only gets damaged by deterioration caused by hydrolysis of the binder of the tape - The wave of hand never destroying.
Lastly it can be crinkled(without damaging the content), it is crisp and it is clear.
Now the older version of the MAGNETIC TAPE after analyzing plenty history books are "GRAMOPHONE RECORDS" Which is also known as "Vinyl Records"
So go with two copies of that on your interview day.
I wish us all, at this interview stage, the best. |

Picture frame, it'd have to be those paper ones. This idea will require us bringing a frame and a baby picture or so. It can be in line too. But what's the older version of a picture frame? davide470: So there can be team work like this on this platform?
Anyways, have you guys thought about a Picture Frame??
It holds dreams, aspirations, words, pictures..et al.
It falls under : Crinkle, Crisp and Clear too.
Oya, discuss! |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Sahara Group Graduate Program 2017 by supertonex(m): 1:25pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
A whole newspaper isn't thin I want to believe. So could this be a cartoon page with all those stories of wise men who had dreams for Nigeria in Sunday or Saturday punch? It's colourful bla bla Deejames: I really commend the the level of intelligence that has been displayed so far.
However, while giving those descriptions a closer look, do you think the CD meets the description in the second to last? That "a wave of hand, never destroying".
In my opinion, I think it's a newspaper or something like that. Imagine how one flips through pages of it (as if one is waving his hands which truly never destroys it). I think newspaper also meets all the other descriptions (I wouldn't want to analyse that so as not to bore you with a lenghty post). In that same regard, one thing I'd like to draw our attentions to is that the "crinkle, crisp, clear..." are used as verbs. Think of it in the context that the item is describing itself with this: I crinkle (fold), I crisp (clearly define things), and I clear (clarify). So while a CD could crisp and clear, it can't crinkle (which a newspaper does).
NB: all the synonyms I gave to the words above are gotten from my android phone's English dictionary.
What do you guys feel? |

Very dicey. Compact disc so far is filling in correctly. Not everybody has something to say so I think the slander on people reading and not commenting should reduce. Some are trying to learn. He who knows should put down the answer, who will be picked will be picked. |
