Actually am not a delphic oracle in the knowledge of many schools. There re specific schools which I always look into their mode of admission and other things. AAUA is quite a good school. All I can say is press the right button by clicking the cut off and u'll be admitted.

Before venturing into any school, the salient point to note is the favour that may be attached. Analysisng the aforementioned schools.........
1. UNIBEN:-Regional nepotism and favouritism is pre-eminent in Uniben. They tend to favour their catchment areas more than other candidates from other region. For one to be admitted easily in Uniben, u must meet their invisible cut-off. As u can see, Bayelsa falls in the catchment area of Uniben.
UI:- she only admits based on the merit cut off. Although there is no institution void of corruption nowadays bt I can attest to the fact that UI's first list is based stricly on merit. But there is always a k-leg in their second/supplementary list. They pick candidates randomly in their supplementary list and the way they pick is still unknown to the masses. Somebody with 68 may be considered above a person with 70 with reasons best known unto themselves. But their medical college is the bomb. UI's students re collection of intellects!
UNILORIN:- despite having the fastest going academic calender and ve risen the ladder of one of the best schools in Nigeria, she has lots of flaws. Their mode of admission is still vague and blurring to me cos I dont even know whether it's merit based or long-leg based. But all the same, the school has one of the best medical colleges in Naija.

So let ur instinct lead u with an oriented mind into knowing which one to pick. Goodluck sweedy!!!

When it comes to the issue of making a choice between two healthcare courses, I am always of the opinion that the individual making the choice should know what he/she wants. In as much as the patient would be the beneficiary of all the expertise that would be brought to bay from different fields, being relevant to the patient is not as important as you doing what you desire. And while you make your choices, please make no assumptions. Don't be carried away by what you read on the Internet or what you feel should be the norm. In the hospital, there are clearly defined roles and responsibilities stated out- and no matter how much knowledge you wield, you are not expected to act except it is within your statutorily defined role.

Health practice has left the era of "we are here to help the patient by all means we can no matter what". The human body is not a 100% predictable machine. It's a spectrum of continuous designs and processes which are inter-related and ultimately affect each other. If you go out of your "way" to help and something goes wrong, you are very on your own. These days patients are becoming 'wiser'- looking for who to blame on their perennial woes. Their relations have lawyers standby should anything happen. The era of studying a healthcare course to be relevant to a patient by all means is gradually fading out. So please let's put things in perspective.

This takes us back to prioritizing personal desire over the will to be a proverbial sacrificial lamb. Study a course because you want to- not because you feel it will make you 'better' to a patient than the other person studying a different course. The tides are changing.

Finally, I've observed that a lot of students in the healthcare arena derive their self esteem from the course they are studying. This is a very flawed mental engineering. It shouldn't be so. What you study is not as important as how you feel about yourself. You don't need to study a particular course to be somebody in life. Nobody cares what you are until they know how relevant you can be to their lives. The Nigerians that tell you a particular course is better over the other probably know nothing about your course. They don't know how many hours you spend daily to make an above-average grade. They don't know how many hours you sleep per night just to ensure you are on top of your material. They're in the not-know about so many things. Why make their opinions important?

I will always say no course is better than the next. What is important is who is studying the course - that's where we can talk of who is better and who is not.

I rest my case.
Dear lomaxx, i like you so much.
You are the bomb, you are an embodiment of perfection.
Just two questions...
1)why did you choose medicine?
2)if you had a chance to start over again what will you rather study apart from biomedical engineering?..
I humbly await your reply sir.

RomanceRe: Ways To Be A More Attractive Person. by Suresh08: 9:06am On Oct 15, 2014
rutibaby:
Attraction simply means having the power to attract.
1. Have a healthy self esteem.
People will always see you the way you see yourself. They will never place you beyond what you place yourself.
"Don't depend on the relationship", Instead have confidence in yourself and God.
VALUE YOURSELF.

2. Maintain a joyful attitude.
"It is better to be happy and hungry than to be hungry and sad". If you are always angry, you will not make much progress.

3. Get a life.
Get a purpose for your life. "When you don't have a purpose; abuse is inevitable.
THERE IS A GLOW THAT COMES WHEN YOU ARE PURPOSEFUL.

4. Mental development - Intelligence attracts you.
i. Ask question
ii. Read - know something about everything; you don't need to know everything about something.
iii. Observe
iv. Choose your friends wisely.

5. S S S - Self Support Services.
i. Eat health.
ii. Exercise.
iii. Look good - look for clothes that fit you. Use the right bra size. No/ Light make up - don't be excessive, don't be fake. Make a good hair style/ Cut if bushy.
iv. Smell good - have a bath. Use good perfumes and body cream.

You can yawn forever and go and sleep forever. Shy guys are the best. If ur an extrovert, I'm sorry I might not date you because just have a look at the post where I said shy guys are willing to listen and don't disrupt conversation.. Ur actually doing the opposite. Extrovert guys like you will keep on yawning at every single converation I hold with them. Only shy guys will be willing to listen to a lady. Become a shy guy today and I might date you. Change ur status from extrovert to introvert. tongue
