Dreal1247:
You see how the coming of President Donald Trump is positively impacting the USA. A potential investor has to increase his investment by 500 percent after the winning of Trump. Your Tinubu is sending companies packing. You are not concerned. Continue defending and celebrating error until it swallows you. Gradually, they have started predation on the poor masses. You pay for electronic transfer. USA is to stop taxing the overtime workers and those paid on tips. Tinubu is trying to tax the masses harder. We are all in Nigerian. I'm happy that the USA is making it clear that if you destroy your country, you don't have to run to the USA. He has been a business man all his life and the Americans are saying that he has done more in few days of Governance than Biden.
My brother APC doesn't have materials from buhari to Tinubu, even their ministers,or is it their online and offline supporters are very backward and empty. See where they have driven the country to,the worst is that they are very very shameless
I just read that their economic reforms has resulted in unsold inventories of manufacturers to be over 1.4trillion by end of 2024
That's a poor result for their much touted reforms
PoliticsRe: Manufactures Record ₦1.4 Trillion Worth Of Unsold Goods In 2024 Due To Inflation by surgical: 9:39am On Jan 23, 2025

PoliticsRe: Kemi Badenoch Never Sold Sachet Water- Prof Akinyemi by surgical: 9:01am On Jan 23, 2025
dettolgel:
Prof. Akinyemi sounds like an idiot.

How can he say with certainty that Kemi's parents didn't fall through hard times simply because her father was a medical doctor and a professor? I thought Akinyemi should know better.

The only way he could make such a statement with certainty is if he has access to the father's financial statements, dealings including their assets and expenditures covering the period in question.

Otherwise his best statement could have been that he "finds it highly unlikely that that happened to her family given the father's position." That is how a learned person whom I am sure has published academic papers, done research and understood the importance of facts deal with anecdotal information before the facts are presented.
The idiot na Tinubu friend,he is living on past glory ,he still thinks Nigerians have time for spent force like him ,he is trying to help Tinubu launder his government image at the expense of Kevin, who is more patriotic between Kemi and his friend Tinubu, Tinubu has ruined the lives of many Nigerians, while Kemi is pointing the rot in Nigeria for possible amendments
Prof akinyemi is like Prof wole Soyinka, they don't see wrong in their friends in power because of patronage but will travel thousands of kilometres to find who they will criticize to make their friends look good
In short they are experts in dirty jobs
PoliticsRe: Can You Name One Thing Nigerians Are Benefitting From This Government? by surgical: 8:52am On Jan 23, 2025
VTJN:
That is the same question op was asking and we're yet to get any response from anyone. He gave examples of how the masses/common man benefited from free education, cheap subsidised fuel, cheap cost of goods and services, lower inflation etc were enjoyed under Buhari.

If nothing good ever comes easy, was that phrase meant solely for the common man or for all and sundry? The last time i checked, only the common man are affected by Tinubu economy policies while the president and other politicians still live in affluent with our commonwealth and tax payers money. Does that mean the fewer politicians are more Nigerian than us?

President Tinubu is still borrowing money despite removing subsidy from our crude oil, education, electricity, floating the currency, increasing tax etc. He's still borrowing like past leaders that gave the common man free education and subsidised fuel, electricity and didn't float the currency. President Tinubu debt profile so far is hitting over 145 trillions barely less than 2 years in office.

The common man are not seeing the outcome of the tough choices made. He still borrow money like every other past leaders that gave us free education, subsidised fuel, subsidised electricity, lower inflation, cheap and affordable cost of goods and services. Tinubu has taken all of these away from the masses which the past leaders gave to us freely and he's still borrowing like the same past leaders.
oloriburuku ni awon were(mad people) supporting Tinubu, if they are not insane, they would have noticed all that you stated here
Tinubu is over rated, a massive disaster, thank God he became president, we would not have realised that all the lies, propaganda were all packaging, the man is empty ,greedy, obstinate and lack compassion. This should save us from worst fate in the future if learnt the right lessons from this
So next time when they come with their exaggerated lies and propaganda, the people will run for their lives

I believe obi would have learnt his lessons now, when they were telling him grassroots / structure ,he thought it was a joke,no presence in over 44,000 polling units, how will he protect or get copies of results from that type of large area
He even allowed opposition party to put their own as chairman of his party in his strong hold ,all in the name of he doesn't want to interfere, and they did him dirty

BusinessRe: US Oil Imports From Nigeria To Drop As Trump Plans Energy Emergency Order by surgical: 6:53am On Jan 22, 2025
Satazaa:
Good, If shale oil exploration by Trump will lead to crude oil pricing crashing and consequently leads to pump price reduction in Nigeria so be it, because its senseless praying for increases in international crude oil so that Nigeria can earn more revenue but its ordinary citizens never ever enjoy any benefits from such windfalls, i keep scratching my head all the times about what do i enjoy as a citizen of this country and can point to any
Here is a freeborn speaking unlike the APC supporters who sees themselves as slaves and footstool to their leaders and therefore undeserving of anything from the country except crumbs from the leaders, that is why they speak against subsidies and advocate removal of subsidies, preach against it and hail its implementation
But in saner climes citizens enjoy one form of subsidy or the other from their government because such government cares, they go all out to protect they vulnerable and critical sectors
Through subsidies, but here the uncaring, ineffective, greedy government removed every form of subsidies

where will this money come from?

how can a government claim to distribute 5trillion naira as a strategy of reducing hardship?

how can a government remove fuel subsidy which kept inflation and cost down because it claims fuel subsidy was unsustainable only to start distributing free money to people without productivity?

how is this sustainable?
if you ask me ,na who I go ask
