Give yourself time to heal before worrying about your tummy. After your 6 weeks post partum check you can ask the doctor if you can start light exercises. It will go down with a healthy diet and working out

Sis, sorry it is not easy. You need help please. I suggest you talk to your hubby and you guys should bring in a sibling that is within control able age, maybe just finished secondary school.

What is helping me is my apprentices. They are really trying plus I have a 'humble' and hardworking sister in-law. Despite that, I still feel tired. Please get help.

That is how my MIL came all the way from Edo state to Lagos with two years old child for omugo, all she does is to bath my baby that is all, I cook, wash dish,wash my baby clothes myself. for that fact that she knows I delivered through CS. I still take responsibility for the child she brought, I can't wait for ending of this month let her go abeg.
Thanks to my mummy that use two weeks before MIL came, my mummy will be the one to bath my baby, wash dishes, cook food, wash my cloth and baby cloth. MIL will still expect me to cook launch for her and the 2year old boy she brougt. Am so angry

My mum and MIL came the very day I gave birth. MIL didn't proof useful at all. She wanted to start acting as another baby that my mum will take care of together with the twins and me.

It was my husband that took necessary action. He took me and the babies with my mum to my own parents house, then called his younger brother to come take his mum back home.

I'm two months postpartum and I'm still with my parents. Hubby comes around every other day.

Anyone not useful should go back home biko and not stress you. You need rest not additional wahala.

This is the problem with our mums / relatives these days coming for omugwo. They seem not to know the things that are needed most from them. You may even clean the entire roof and foundation of the house, but if you are not helping to hold the baby, so the mum can catch some sleep, especially in the days/weeks following delivery, then you relatively are of no use to the mum.
Ndo, mama I feel your pain. Perhaps you should point out to this helper that this is what you'd cherish of her to do the most?

Iya ibeji you are ftm and in addition a ftm to twins. I do not think you can do this by yourself . Taking care of a baby is a full time job talkless of 2 babies. You need help the only way you can properly take care of your babies is if you have full time assistance. You can get a paid help that will resume in the morning and close in the evening if you do not have any relatives to help. The person does not even have to do much for the babies but can help you with things like laundry,house cleaning etc. I really feel for you I don't have twins but I know how tough it was for me to adjust to taking care of a baby when I had my first child even though my mom was with me.

Mama, I agree with the poster above. Pls, get help. I remember when i had my baby. There was no one to help me and DH out for good 4days( I was in d hospital, had CS). It affected my baby badly cos dh was d one caring for him, I broke down in tears before we thought of asking for help. We had to call one of our Christian friend who helped out for 2 days before my MIL arrived. That's one baby o.... Please, if u can get an elderly nanny....pay her please. A trusted church member can assist u too. Pele mama Ibeji.

The sebamed I bought for my baby maintained his light skin but gave him serious rashes and fungi infection. I bought it in a big supermarket o
Sebamed is very good but scarce Now, buy at shoprite or other trustworthy supermart.

If your reason for using sebamed is cos of the rash, honestly don't bother cos it will clear. Its new born rash and normal. Sebamed is pricey and not easily gotten.

Pls stop using powder on ur baby until atleast 6 mths.Egusi poo is normal.Rashes generally go away on their own but if u are bothered,tribotan or sudocreme or cacatin can clear the rash.

You pocket will heavily influence what you get for your baby.ppl use cussons,aveeno,johnson,boots etc.choose one and stick to it.

Poo how often? What is the consistency of the poo? Is it like egusi? Also why did the doctor ask you to change? If Aptamil is working for you (financially) and for them (palatable) then I don't see the problem

re sebamed, it is currently VERY VERY scarce. I suggest you don't start what you cannot finish. The rash may just be baby acne which is normal in newborns. What soap do you use currently?

I don't know which one is the normal sebamed but if it has nothing about babies written on it, then don't use it for them, I learnt that the hard way . You can use Aveeno.

Both my kids also got a rash when they were a few days old, I used baby tribotan for it but even if you ignore it, it would clear on its own too after a while.

Hello mamas. Please i have concerns. I had CS on saturday, fortunately or unfortunately i didn't keep my head down as advised for 24 hours. When i was given the go ahead, i had this hooked headache thingy that spread into the back of my head. Very painful. Though i am getting pain relieve injections, it comes back when the injection wears off though not as strong as before. The doctor says it'll clear in 72hours, google says similar thing.

Please if you've done CS before and passed through this, don't read and pass, tell me what you did either naturally or otherwise that fast tracked your healing.

We are two months old, but it's still stressful, though it's a joyful stress
