Lezzlie: All I see is rants of one who can't hold intellectual discussion without lacing them with expletives (look up the word, I bet you don't know the meaning). It's the "advanced countries don't accept Nigerian doctors" for me, yet Nigerian doctors keep passing their licensing exams and "japa-ing"(that's not an English word, for your information) in large numbers to practice in these "advanced countries". You are yet to realize the healthcare crisis Nigeria is on the brink of, due to brain-drain and the migration wave of Nigerian doctors who have passed foreign licensing exams and granted license to practice in these countries with better working condition. Don't hold Nigerian government accountable to do the right thing eh, keep blaming doctors I know you're fundamentally incapable of holding an intellectual discussion like I said earlier, so I await your expletives-laden response. Bring it on mate 1 Like |

Health / Re: Resident Doctors Begin Nationwide Strike by Susily(m): 11:07pm On Aug 26 |
Lezzlie: Like I said before, instead of bearing your ignorance for the whole world to see, do your research first. What you quoted up there is not the Oath physicians take during induction into the medical profession anywhere in the world And you should listen to professionals in a field you know nothing about when they speak so as not to make a fool of yourself like you are doing now And as a certified and licensed medical doctor, I'm in full support of the strike action because that's us prioritizing our well being (physically and mentally) so we can be able to deliver quality healthcare service to the society You should face the government and have them tackle the insecurity situation in the country or better still, you can write jamb, gain admission to study medicine, spend 6 to 8 years in medical school and pass all your exams, so you alone can recite that outdated Hippocratic oath you quoted on your induction day 1 Like |
Health / Re: Resident Doctors Begin Nationwide Strike by Susily(m): 5:10pm On Aug 26 |
Lezzlie: Look up the revised version of the Hippocratic oath known as the PHYSICIAN'S PLEDGE by WHO and educate yourself, so you don't speak ignorantly To paraphrase it, "I'll prioritize my health and well-being physically and mentally, in order to be able to discharge my duties effectively to my patients" So my friend, doctors going on strike to protest the kidnap of a colleague is them abiding exactly by the OATH they took. Prioritizing their health and well-being physically and mentally Indian doctors went on Nationwide strike recently because of rape and murder of a colleague, which is in line with the OATH The anger should be directly towards the government for the insecurity in the country and not on doctors acting within the OATH they took 1 Like 1 Share |

Media145: Respond to each of the below questions/concerns accordingly What kind of business do you want to use the loan to execute? What kind of business are you into? Second, someone putting up a 10M+ collateral and acting as a guarantor for your loan is taking on a HUGE RISK, so the facilitation fee you're talking about paying the person doesn't scratch it. The potential guarantor needs a better return for assuming such great risk. Because if you default on the loan repayment, the guarantor stands to lose his Asset and you'd walk away unscathed since you're not assuming any risk in this transaction. So giving the potential guarantor an OWNERSHIP STAKE in your supposed business(of which he'll be entitled to the profits the business makes as long as he owns the stake) is a far better offer than just a facilitation fee you talked about .....you said you can easily pay back the loan, that's just word of mouth which means nothing and it won't convince anyone. You need to show CONCRETE VERIFIABLE PROOF that you can "easily pay back" the loan as you said. Take your time to respond to all these concerns. Thank you 2 Likes |

Double0h7: Well you have a point, but the thing is that young women don't want to settle down when they're very young and nubile. They reject serious suitors coming their way then They want to explore around in their Early and mid twenties then wonder why men don't look their side when they hit 30 and single You can't have your cake, and eat it too 1 Like |
