Gaming › Convert Your Gaming Skills To Cash Rewards by Susily(op): 9:38pm On Jan 24 |
There is this App I came across, the name is Whipple.
You get to play very simple and fast games there and you get rewarded with cash when you win games.
Participation is very cheap and you can even play FREE GAMES if you gather enough whipple points.
Another great thing about Whipple is it's fast and seamless withdrawal. Once you initiate withdrawal, you get it in your bank after some seconds
App is currently on PlayStore. You can download it and get paid while playing simple and fast games |

pocohantas: Bridal train isn't random. It is for shared bond and moments. I have a brother and the thought of being my SIL's bridesmaid never crossed my mind. Even when I was picked to hold the money of the day, it was by her aunty and mother _obviously because she told them I am the one she can trust in our family. Given hers were busy with food and all. Immediately I was done, I handed the money to her. My mum kept asking me how much it was and I said I DIDN'T TAKE NOTE. She knew I was lying, but what can she do?
There would be intimate gists between her and her friends a night before. So what am I doing in their midst? Did not being there affect my our relationship till date? No! Women that allow their brothers/sons use them as tools to cause his wife unrest are the biggest f●●ls. Any "intimate gist" that she won't be comfortable discussing in the presence of her Sister-in-law has already flagged her RED. God used her folly to save the young man If you can't be accommodating of a member of the family you're getting married into, then no need marrying into the family in the first place |

Gaming › Be Among The Five People To Test Our App And Get #10k Airtime by Susily(op): 8:15pm On Sep 04, 2025 |
We are giving away #10,0000 airtime (any network of your choice) to Five people that volunteer to be a tester for the beta version of our gaming app.
So we're launching a Gaming Web and Mobile App and we will want early adoptors to test the functionalites of the platform so we can identify places to improve on before we officially launch later this year
The platform is a peer-to-peer gaming App where users can stake against themselves in order to win each other's money. A user can either play as The House or as a player betting against The House.
The House creates a game with a fixed Odd, and stakes an amount, let's say #10,000 and if for example, the Odd is 5, the player betting against The House will stake #2,000 in order to win the House's #10,000 stake.
A game remains open until a winner emerges, then the House's stake ( eg #10,000 in this example) goes the The winner while the stakes of the losers goes to the House.
The Platform will charge 25% for a user to create a game as The House
There will also be random raffle draws where users can stand a chance to win prizes.
In light of the above, we will be accepting applications for testers who will test the functionalites of the platform so we can identify areas to improve on before launching.
Also, for the trouble, we'll be compensating the 5 testers with #10,000 Airtime. #5k airtime during testing and the remaining #5k Airtime after the tests are Concluded.
If you're interested to be one of the Testers, kindly send us an email to support@mywhipple.com to indicate interest. We'll have a brief interview and then select 5 testers for the App test.

Have a great day. |
Business › Re: Kurrent.app Becomes Nigeria’s First Free Website And Whatsapp Store Builder by Susily(m): 7:22pm On Sep 04, 2025 |
adamkkk: Years ago, Wapka tried this. It was fun and exciting and not completely free because they had one small advert at the footer.
After few years, they closed down. The cost was killing them. Years later, i reached out to one of their team, and i got to learn from their experiences as well. This was before Nairaland became a sensation.
We created exam websites to sell answers. We even created forums for sharing cheats codes etc. I believe that was how Nairaland started too. I still can remember Nairaland was nothing back then. I created my own Forum back then in 2011. In 2013 it was offline.
Some of the names back then were Donprosper and Co's. For downloads we had Wapking and Wapktrick. And the Sefan. It was a sweat time to learn coding back then. I didn't learn it for the money. No no no, i wasn't even thinking about money back then. I did it for the passion. I somehow just had the passion to create something online out of nothing and do what many people could not.
it was me and my childhood classmate Felix. We developed that obsession and would challenge each other the next day in school on our creation. I wanted to upload my entire Physics text book(Essential Physics) back then into a study website i created. But after writing for barely half a chapter, i gave up. It wasn't easy at all. Now things are a bit easier, someone could just snap the next book and the texts will be picked one by one into the website. It wasn't like that back then.
We came a long way with fancy tales and preposterous experiences. I can beat my chest now to say I do my job for the passion. Not for the money.
Why am i saying all these ? Just to make it clear that many had this dreams and couldn't achieved it because of funding all lack of corporate characters. In America and some other countries, it was an achievement.
I can recreate any cms and website. I can recreate Shopify in a week. Writing the code from my head and a chilled bottle of coca cola by myself.
....

casualobserver: You don’t know women! A woman will hold a grudge till the moment she doesn’t need you anymore. Observe the number of women who “abandon”. their husbands once their last child has graduated. At the heart of it are things you did years ago, you thought she had forgotten or forgiven. Well, if the kids turn out to be yours after DNA test, then you have nothing to worry about whether she leaves or not |

Jodha: "Unless you calm down, humble yourselves and obey every single instruction we gave you"
I'm not one to start mincing words or argue baselessly when it's obvious yhu guys have yhur own perspective of life...
My only advice to y'all "alpha males" is that it takes two to tango... marriage is not yhu doing a favour to any lady .. I believe in our society as a young man no one will take yhu seriously if yhure not married. Being a married man shows yhure responsible and ready to take on responsibility as a man should. I repeat yhure not doing any lady a favour by getting married to her. So for yhur own good lose that mentality, if yhu really want to be happy. STFU |

casualobserver: Like I said in a previous test, do your test secretly and don’t use your real name. Destroy all evidence, you are doing the test for yourself not for the world or the woman. If it confirms the child is yours, nobody needs to ever know. But as a man you must do test.
No woman will ever forgive you if she knows you did a test and the child turns out to be yours and I won’t blame her. From the day she finds out never sleep with both eyes closed again and be very afraid once those children are grown and educated and hence you are no longer needed. That's bullshit |

purples25: Well I have to say you make sense but I still don't see the need for waiting for Christmas Day to break the news and giving it as a wrapped gift. If I was a man I could mail, I could just leave or sit down to talk. If I was a man I think I'll be a less talk and more action man and even when I speak or act, it will be more to the point and less emotions. The way I go do my things sef, my body language, she would automatically know the consequences and that any favor I MIGHT do will simply be out of my benevolence. She will just comply if I say pack by this time or sign this because a calm and concise person is feared the most.
If I was a man I think I'd move on so easy, because men have so many picks especially when they earn. I would even still take care of the child but that's all, I don't talk to her or anything and I do the payment just out of kindness and stop when I want. Might even still see the innocent kid cuz it's not his/her fault. 🤷🏿
Just that I'm not a guy. Well you're not a man and have not moral standing to tell a man how to behave in situations of high betrayal like this |

Yong4ever: Nigerian doctors are the most selfish, residency training that is being sponsored by the government already, they'll be acting as if they're the only ones relevant in the health sector as if other health care professionals don't contribute, well the useless structure has favoured them from inception, what do you expect, when you have commisional for health, minister for health, chief medical director which is purely administrative role ,all occupied by doctors, something impossible in a saner clime. Show me a country where the medical director is not a medical doctor |
Politics › Re: Abuja Doctors Give Wike Two Weeks To Meet Demands Or Face Hospital Shutdown by Susily(m): 8:00pm On Dec 23, 2024 |
ChiefOkporghe: Studying medicine at a very subsidize rate and that's why there easily run abroad and flourish there while their counterparts over there have to struggle with student loans they have to keep paying from their salaries.
The FG should stop subsidizing health courses and let the medical students opt for student's loan like it is done abroad.
You can't eat your cake and have it back. You can't attend medical school at very subsidize rate compared to your counterparts abroad and still want to enjoy the same rumeneration like your counterparts struggling with student's loan abroad. Well, Nigerian doctors can indeed eat their cake and have it too. That's why they are leaving the country in droves. At whose detriment?? The citizenry So it's now left for the government to improve their remuneration or allow the vicious cycle to continue |

bixton: Let's just wait till the Minister gives his response. I trust Wike to tell them straight and straighten them. It seems like some of them want to japa and maybe Wike is employ those who want to work in FCT. Wike will straighten them out and who will suffer it?? Still the poor masses. Nigeria has a serious healthcare crisis on the brink of exploding and a lot of doctors have left the country and more about leaving If Wike employs new set of doctors without the basic problem addressed, the vicious cycle continues It is a case of two elephants fighting. It is the grasses(the citizenry) that will suffer it the most. Mind you, most of these doctors have their private practice, so it won't touch them much |
Romance › Re: Why Many Women Will Marry In 2025 – Lady Opines by Susily(m): 1:51pm On Dec 20, 2024 |
DrFunmisticGlow: Social shit 1. Getting pregnant for men who are not worth it(the kind of man that will embarrass you in a hospital full of strangers becausehe doesn't want to pay your medical bill). 2. Getting abandoned with a pregnancy. 3. Mood swings and weird cravings 4. Medical gaslighting especially if the doctor is male or the nurses are unkind. 5. Being pressured to reject life saving medical care because of religious beliefs of her or her husband 5. Post-partum depression and psychosis 6. Insults from in-laws especially if she gives birth to a girl. 7. Extra work once the baby is born 8. Miscarriages.
Physical shit.
1. Getting sicker, weaker, slower and fatter. 2. Destroying your body. 3. Becoming 2nd priority in your life now that you have a child. 4. The child could be born with problems. 5. Bleeding to death. 6. Womb rupturing during labour and Bleeding to death. 7. Having high blood pressure which could lead to seizures, coma, and death. 8. Complications arising in labor leading to infertility and death. 9. Saw a patient die few days after childbirth because she had tapeworms which would not have put her in a vulnerable position if she wasn't pregnant. 10. Vesico-vagina fistula. 11. Losing all your teeth. 12. Nose getting fat and almost ugly. 13. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time. 14. Fracturing your hip, leaving you paralyzed for months and being abandoned by the father of child. 15.Vaginal tears which some doctors sew up without proper pain relief.
God there's more, more gruesome stories. Common, let's be realistic, a lot of Nigerian men are not this bad na. They try their best to take care of their wives in all stages of pregnancy, puerperium, and onwards The few bad eggs doesn't make it a rule for all Nigerian men |

And the shit I see women go through in the name of pregnancy and childrearing alone, not even other things, marriage is almost not worth it because many husband's don't know the true meaning of in sickness and in health. DrFunmisticGlow: Here's the thing, getting an ATM that may pay most bills and behave badly while she cook, clean, have sex even when she don't feel like it, risk her life 1+x times to bear children, be subservient to a probably bad boss who has a higher chance to harm her physically, thinks it is acceptable to cheat and renegade on the vows he made, is not a good deal for a lot of women(This is marriage in a nutshell for women). This is why society and media has to keep priming women to want marriage or face consequences if they don't.
Even biology has to scam women with hormones after going through the most painful experience of their lives to make them forget the pain as a consolation. A lot of women are miserable in their marriages too.
The day nigerian women wake up to realise that they are no longer interested in the scraps and potential headaches that men are dangling in the name of marriage, and the juice is most likely not worth is squeeze is coming, and nigerian men will be the one to cry more than the bereaved just like in western cultures. Which country do you practice medicine? |

Olorun means God. Omalicha means beautiful. Mo ni fere means I love you, but I'm not sure if I still remember it correctly. Ololufemi means my love, but I'm not sure as well. Omo baba olowo means a rich man's son.
I think I forgot others... It's been long since I listened to Nigerian gospel and some Nigerian love songs, that's where I learnt these words... But I learnt most of them from listening to Nigerian gospel and funny enough, most of the artists just happened to be singing in Yoruba.
I was also told that lai lai is a Yoruba term for never. You're doing great in your language learning. Proud of you PS: Omalicha is Igbo, not yoruba |
